WOW....some much to catch you up on!!

Where has the week gone? I feel like I have been running around with my head cut off all week, and next week is already Christmas. I can't wait. Here comes a really long post!!

Sunday night at church, Santa came. I told Jason this maybe the only year she will sit on his lap without crying for a while.

Then all week, we have been running to town to get some last minute Christmas gifts. I had kind of forgotten that I needed gifts for all the Chinese exchanges we do.

Wednesday night I went to the Referee Meeting at ASU. I was really embarrassed walking in there because I recognized so many of them from over the years, and especially last year when I coached at Christoval. The reason to be embarrassed: I yelled a lot!! :) Nothing personal, just yelled a lot. Imagine that!! Anyways, I guess it is official, I will ref starting in January, but this will only last about a month. Yay, I need to start pumping religiously!!

Thursday Night, Jason's sister came home from Chicago!! This was the first time she got to see Kylee, so we all went to the airport to meet her!! It was very exciting!! Didn't get any pictures of that though.


Friday Night, we had Addi's 3rd Birthday Party!! I can't believe it's been 3 years already!! It feels like yesterday, we were up at the hospital ALL NIGHT waiting for her to come. She was born at 4AM!! We love that little girl SOOOOOO MUCH!! Here are lots of pictures from the party!!

Church Christmas Banquet 08

We had our church Christmas banquet tonight. I really enjoy it for many reasons; one of the reasons is Jason dresses very nice for it!!

SLEPT ALL NIGHT!!

Yep!! That's right. Kylee slept through the night last night. I fed her at 8:30, and we put her in bed about 9:30. And she cried one time in the night, so I put the pacifier in, and noticed she was turned on her side. She didn't make another peep. And woke up at 7:30 this morning. The past 2 nights she goes gotten herself turned to her side, I guess that is okay. Also, I feel like her last feeding before she goes to bed needs to be later, so she will sleep longer. Any suggestions on how to get the last feeding to be around 9:30 or 10. I need to get my Baby Wise book out.

Another exciting thing.

Yesterday, I was at McAllister's eating lunch and I sat down and looked around and I noticed this guy looked familiar so I smiled. Well before I could process were I knew him from, he had jumped up and came to our table. Anyways, he is in charge of scheduling the Basketball Officials for all the basketball games surrounding San Angelo. He had remembered me from Christoval last year, and said if your interested you could come ref for me 1 night a week. He said he was desperate!! So I said well, I'll talk to my husband about and see. By the time I got home, I really think I am interested. I mean it doesn't make good money, and people and coaches yell at you. Why would I like this? I don't know it just interests me. Maybe because I would get out of the house a little bit, and maybe I miss the coaching world a little bit, and maybe I could make a little bit of money. Who knows? I'll keep you posted.

LOOK WHAT I FOUND.....

About 3 weeks ago, I was randomly looking through the ads at my Grandmother's house and saw a little kids rocker at Big Lots and it was made out of Kylee's Nursery Material!! I was so excited. Well, with not having a lot of experience with Big Lots, I went into the store the next day and showed them the ad, and they didn't have it and they never know what they will be getting off the truck. And you can not order furniture online.

Anyways, over the past few weeks I would randomly go in there to see if they had it. Well, I went in this morning and they had 2 actually!!! I was so excited!!

She seems to like it!!

And she started falling in the chair, since she really can't sit up by herself, but I thought she looked sweet!!

Picture Update

We have got the house decorated for Christmas. The tree in the living room. It is decorated with bright colored balls and silver.

Kylee's Christmas Tree in her room. And I am still going to make a tree skirt for her. :) I know; I'm a loser.

I got in my uppercase living order, and applied them to the wall in the guest bathroom (Kylee bathroom). They are animals: hippo, giraffe, lion, elephant, and turtle.

I think they turned out really cute. Hopefully they are not crooked.

YES, we are Here!!

WOW!! It has been a fast a furious week! Now, is really the first time I have had a chance to blog!! I have been faithfully reading all of yours though!!

We mananged to see all the families over Thanksgiving, and eat turkey and dressing at least 4 times, maybe more!! But best of all was seeing the family!!

Mom and I did go shopping Friday. We left the house at 5:30, and went to Target, Walgreens, Family Christian, Mall, Wal-mart, Chick-Fil-A, Hobby Lobby, and back to Target. We got home at 3:30!! Poor Kylee was probably exhausted, but she did great!! She is a BIG Shopper!! :)

The tree is up and decorated, I just need to put the finishing touches on it today, so I can get all the Christmas boxes out.

My Grandmother came in ONE afternoon and completely finished the quilt!! She stayed 3 hours. She is awesome!!

We have ordered Christmas pictures and Christmas cards!! Yeah!! Hopefully they turn out cute!

Not alot going on around here. Just thought I needed an update cause I was tired of looking at the quilt pictures.

*Speaking of the quilt; not going real well. It is really hard to find time to sit down and work on it. And mom and Grandmother, neither one, have come over to help. This week is Thanksgiving probably won't be much better. :(

*Yesterday, we went to Abilene to have pictures taken. Mom wanted Christmas pictures of all 3 grandkids. Well, it was an adventure!! Mind you, Addi is 2, Karter is 1, and then Kylee is 2 months. Kylee just slept the whole time, so she was good, but I wanted her to wake up. NOPE!! Didn't budge. So all of her pictures she is sleeping. Addi did really good, until the end, and her and Karter were fighting over a package. Karter was really never good. :) He was everywhere, except where you wanted him. hehehehe He managed to break an ornament off of the Christmas tree. Anyways, we think there is one good one of all 3 of them. I'll let you know when they are up on the web.

*THANKSGIVING IS HERE!!! YES!!! I love this holiday!! It is just wonderful. I will do a thanksgiving post later in the week.

What in the world was I thinking???

My Grandmother quilted this really cute puppy dog quilt this summer for one of our friends that has a little boy. Well, I thought it turned out really cute, and that we should do another one for our friend that is about to have her 2ND SON in 13 MONTHS!! Yes, that is correct.

Anyways, I really didn't know I was going to be the one quilting it. Well, Grandmother came and helped me set it up. My finger hurts really bad because I'm not used to using a needle and thimble. It is going to take me forever. But hopefully Mom and Grandmother will come help because it has to be done in 2 1/2 weeks!! Yikes!!

There is so much to write about her!! She is the one I go to when I need advice about marriage, friends, children. She always has an answer, and it might not always be what I want to hear, but it is the right answer.

She is the best example of what it means to love with all your heart, and sacrifice for your family. I see it in her life everyday.

She has such a strong devotion to her faith. She is always praying for someone. And when she says I will pray for you, she DOES IT.

We can finish each others sentences. We read each others minds. We can make it each other laugh. We know when the other is upset about something.

Thank you Jesus for allowing my best friend to be my sister.

Apple Pies & Dad's Birthday

I made 2 apple pies today for my Dad's Birthday. They never look very pretty, but Jason and Dad say they taste good.

Happy Birthday to my Wonderful Daddy!! Everyone says they have the best dad, so I will go right along and say, "Yes, I do have the best dad in the world." When Jason and I got married, I would still talk to my dad at least once a day, sometimes more, and he didn't understand why, and sometimes we even got made at each other over it, but there is a connection there between a dad and a daughter. It eventually got better, or Jason just got used to it. But I'm sure all of us out there are Daddy's Girls!!!

It's funny how God teaches us things; now, Jason is experiencing the same kind of love for Kylee.

100TH POST

Yeah, this is my 100th Post on my blog!! This seems like it is going to be a busy week. Here is what we have in store.

Wednesday --> Make a pie and go to church

Friday --> Ummm...nothing

Saturday --> Probably going to State CC Meet in Round Rock

Sunday --> Brianne's Birthday

So, maybe were not that busy, but it just seems like it!! yeah for birthdays though!!

Kylee seems like such a big girl these days. She is definetely growing and moving a lot more. She can hold her head up for several seconds at a time. She is most happy after she eats, and for a while there the happiness only lasted for about 30 minutes, but now she is happy longer, and smiles at her mobile. She loves for someone to talk to her. Brianne and I think she is going to be a little "FIREBALL" just by some of the things that she does. I kept saying that her temper was from Jason, but Brianne was quick to remind me that I was the one that got the technicals in basketball. (Only 2; one while playing and one while coaching.)

Yesterday, I was so excited because she really isn't good at falling asleep by herself meaning most of the time I rock her to sleep. Well, yesterday morning she put herself to sleep in the swing, and then after lunch she was watching her mobile in her crib and put herself to sleep again, BUT when I took her picture she woke up!! :) Silly me.

The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks

This book is fantastic!!! I highly recommend it to anyone!! I started it one night this week, and the next day I couldn't put it down all day because it was so good!!! I won't reveal any of the details if there is anyone out there that is wanting to read it.

AND unfortunately we didn't get one.

Atleast, we can have faith that God's plan is bigger and better than we could ever imagine. That is what I am holding onto.

Halloween Events

How exciting this Halloween was!!! Of course, you know why. It was Kylee's FIRST!!!! She was a pumpkin. I had bought the outfit a while back, not knowing if she would even be big enough to wear it, and yep, it fit her pretty good!! Yeah, for my little growing girl!!

Thursday night, we went with Addi and Karter trick-or-treating around some houses out here in Wall because Friday night, was Jason's Great Uncle's 80th birthday party that we would be going to. I think that is right. Correct me if I am wrong, Susan!!! Also, we went to our friends Ray and Jaymie's house. They used to go to church with us, but had a Halloween party every year, well they were kind of enough to invite us to it again this year. We had a lot of fun. And Jason and this little boy Caden won the pumpkin carving contest. :)

That pretty much sums up our Halloween. I guess we are going to go get ready to watch the BIG Football Game tonight!!!

Lots to Post=Lots of Pictures

Wow, it has been a week since I posted last, and a lot has happened since then. This may be a long post with lots of pictures.

Kylee went to her 1st Wall Hawk Football game the other night. She can not fit in to any of her green and white clothes, so she was dressed in pink. You can't see her outfit, but we were keeping her covered up because it was a little chilly. But she did great, and many times she was just wide awake. I think she was curious in all the noises. Dad kept saying, "I think she likes the band!!!" :)

This is her one month old picture. I am so excited because she is finally starting to fit into some of her cute outfits, instead of just onesie's!!

Kylee and Cousin Addi!!! Addi absolutely adores her!! I can't wait. They are the same amount apart in years as Brianne and I are. Addisyn called me on the phone the other day and immediately asks, "What Kylee doin'?" She is precious to me!!

I made her a little Halloween bucket for her candy when we go trick-or-treating!!! It is really little, but I couldn't find a larger orange bucket!!

I finally got 2 of my Uppercase Living orders done!! I still have one that says Holik, Est. 2006 that I am going to hang outside. I think they turned out pretty good. This one is in our bedroom.

This is a Christmas decoration for the house somewhere. I love decorating for Christmas!!

And last but not least, since Addi got her picture on the page, here is Cousin Karter!! He is a mess!! Just look at his shirt!! Drenched with slobber, and dirt!!

My mom and I took Kylee to get her pictures taken at Sears yesterday.  They actually turned out pretty good.
