COUNTDOWN

I can't believe it!!! School is nearly over!!! I really can't believe it!!! It seems like just March when I was saying, 12 more weeks of school!!! We officially have 5 days of school left. And they aren't even full days!!! Praise the Lord!!! These kids are wearing on me.

On another note, I can't believe I forgot to tell my blogging friends. I resigned my position here at school last Friday. So I won't be a teacher anymore or a coach anymore. I honestly love doing both of these things. When you go to college some people can never decide what to do, I knew exactly what I wanted and this is truly my passion and love is teaching and coaching!!! So on that note it is sad. When you are around this people everyday and especially in the coaching sense, when we see each other way more than we want to probably, they become your friends, and I will miss that the most. And of course some of the kids I will miss too.

But I am taking off for NOW, and when our kid/kids are in school I may get back into it. Jason thinks I will be happy with not working, but I don't know yet. It will definitely be a change.

It's That Time of the Year Again!!

I will do this post in kelly green in honor of JASON and the John Deere Season beginning!!

This is a busy few weeks for the local farmers. You can tell just by when your driving look at how many tractors are in the field. Jason has been busy everyday this week, coming in around 9. They are plowing all their maze ground, and getting their fields ready to plant cotton. I know, I don't know everything that goes into it, but I love to see the crops come up and be pretty. So in the next week or so, they will plant their cotton, and then pray earnestly for rain. No, the Lord has blessed the farmers the past 3 years so much, it is amazing!!! He will provide!!!


Jason's Birthday is Sunday!! He is the hardest person to buy for because he doesn't want anything, and he doesn't want you to spend money on him. So he never will say what he would like. I just hint around for a few months. For example, we were getting ready to go somewhere one night, and he says "This stupid razor won't cut anything." A lightbulb goes off in my head, I can get him a new razor for his birhtday. He is getting that and I got him a pair of flip-flops.

Sorry it's been so long. I definetely have stuff to blog about just haven't had the motivation. I think it's the end of the school thing. Here is a bulleted update:

* Two weekends ago, I went to the state Track Meet in Austin. I love the state track meet; my parents always took us when we were young, so it is always a good time. Christoval had 3 athletes competing. They did well. My mom had one girl running there, so she was also in Austin at the same time. How convenient because in Round Rock they have an awesome outlet mall!!! So we went there one afternoon, and we both got lots of stuff for the new baby girl. And we stopped by Barton Creek mall on the way home as well. It made for a great weekend with mama!!!

* Mother's Day went fabulous. Most of us think we have the best mom in the world. I of course think the same. And Jason did get me flowers for my first mother's day!!!

*I am week 21 in the pregnancy, so over half way. That is exciting. Last week was the first week I consistently felt her move. It is an awesome feeling. And I am so happy.

*The name search is going not to well. Jason never would be serious enough for a long time with names. Now, I tell him the names I like and he doesn't like them. And he is stuck on one and I am stuck on one, and neither of us will budge. But I really can't decide if he is serious or not, so I don't know. We will let y'all know as soon as we get one figured out.

*I am in the process of planning many little trips this summer with mom and Brianne. Nothing big, just stuff. We are going on a family vacation at Lake Buchanan. I think. I need to go make those reservations.

That should catch me back up to reality!!! Later!!!

*Oh yeah, Jason's birthday is this coming Sunday, May 25th!!! He will be 24 years old!!! We will have to celebrate, even though he hates celebrating!!! :)

Tickled Pink...It's a Girl!!!

YEP!! IT'S A GIRL!!! WE ARE SO EXCITED. THE SONOGRAM LADY CHECKED SEVERAL DIFFERENT ANGLES, AND SEVERAL DIFFERENT TIMES, AND SHE SAW THE 3 LINES THAT SIGNIFY A GIRL!!! AND EVERYTHING ELSE IS IN PLACE AND HEALTHY. THE LOOK FOR 4 CHAMBERS IN THE HEART AND THE SKULL AND SPINE. EVERYTHING LOOKED GREAT!!!

PRAISE THE LORD, FOR HEALTHY BABIES, AND LITTLE GIRLS!!

OH YEAH, AND HER AND ADDI WILL BE 2 YEARS, 9 MONTHS APART. AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT BRIANNE AND I WERE!!! THEY WILL BE LIKE SISTERS. :)
