Icing and Sprinkles Galore!

We celebrated Kylee's birthday this Saturday, with a Baking party, not a bacon party, like her Uncle Josh kept teasing her about! :)

We made pizzas, and then ate them!!

Mom made the aprons for the girls, and I ordered the chef hats online, and put their names on them.

We decorated cakes with all kinds of icing and sprinkles!! And the clean-up really wasn't that bad. We had wipes on hand, and when I swept afterwards there was hardly anything on the floor!!

I gave all the parents permission to take the cake home, and throw it away! :)

Then we sang, and opened presents for the birthday girl!

It was a fun day celebrating her 5 years of life, with her friends and family!

Kylee is 5.

A few weeks ago, it came up that we were going to need to go to Abilene to do a quick something for the house.

So, I thought since, it's not to far, we could wait and do it, on Kylee's Birthday, and go to a couple of fun places!

I made this book of the things we were going to do.  It was a surprise to her until yesterday morning!!

Y'all the book was pretty cheesy, but she ate it up.  She brought it with us on the trip, and kept asking what the next thing we were going to do, and she wanted to know how I got "chuck e" on the card! Love how her little mind works!

So, we made it to the zoo, after Maggie threw up in the car (thinking she gets car sick.).

When we got there, it was nearly empty, and the kids just walked and ran to everything. We hardly used the stroller even for Maggie.  The weather was beautiful too!

Then we went to Chuck E Cheese, to eat the worst pizza in the history of the world! Oh, goodness, it was so bad, I couldn't eat it, and that is pretty bad.

BUT, on the other hand, the kids had a blast riding the rides, and meeting Chunky, as they call him!

Maggie's face in these is priceless.

We were the only ones there, and he still had to come out and dance, and then he threw a bunch of tickets on the ground, and walked back in his dressing room. :)

It was a fun trip!

Cute Cubbies

Thanks for the kind and caring words about Maggie.

Kylee and Jaxon are both in Cubbies this year.  This is Kylee's 3rd Year!! :) So, she has actually gone through both the Cubbies books, but they AWANA came out with a new Cubbies curriculum! She's been in Cubbies so long because we don't have Puggles at our church, so they are allowed to start Cubbies at 3 (which is pretty young, which is why Jaxon and Lexi are in it), AND her birthday is so late in September she hasn't started Kinder to move on to the next group.

N - E - WAYS, we had face painting night last week!

And here they are on the first night, with there little vests! How cute is that!! Jaxon definitely has some issues! :) Last week, he screamed and cried for the first 10 minutes, but then he got over it.  We love their teachers!! :)

Look how cute they all are!! Love this age!!

My Sweet Maggie

Say a prayer for my Maggie, if you would.  She's had some blood work done, and some other tests, and we go back again tomorrow for one more, and we see a specialist in two weeks, all because of some tummy issues. Praying it is minor and easily fixed!

Grouchy Bears

These two have been grouchy bears lately, so much that Jaxon comes up to me and says, "I'm grouchy!!"

They've had the runny nose and coughing, that I feel like everybody has right now because of the time of year.  After about a week now, I went ahead and took them in to see if there was any infection.

They just have some allergies he said, and Kylee has rubbed her nose so bad, it has some sores on it now.  So we got some antibiotic ointment to put on!!

Life is good, if you like to live with grouchy bears!

Our Weekend

Our weekend was full!

On Friday, we went to the Homecoming Pep Rally. Kylee wore her mum again for the 3rd year. She said next year she wanted a new one! :) I think that's pretty good to get 3 years out of one mum! Jaxon's not interested in any of that stuff; he just wants to run and stir up dirt with his new, light up teeny shoes!! And check out Maggie's cute shorts!! :)

We went to the game that night! And they won; although we only made it to half time!! But, what do you expect with 3 little ones!!

On Saturday, the whole fam went to a wedding, and we had a good time, and then when it was time to leave this little girl got lost! I wasn't real worried about her, but we couldn't find her for about 3 or 4 minutes. Guess where we found her? On the dance floor!! Silly girl!!

She sure enjoyed the cake too!!

On Sunday afternoon, Kylee and I went to a Sundae Social for TWIN baby boys! It was right up my sweet, tooth, girl's alley! So blessed to witness the journey these two baby boys have come along.  It involves two of my girlfriends from high school; one being a surrogate mother for the other. How awesome is that! Seeing and hearing these experience this is truly amazing.

Small Town USA

Enjoyed a Friday evening watching my favorite team. Decked out in green, running crazy with the cousins, and getting dirty makes for a great night of fun for our kids!! Doesn't take much I tell ya!

And Maggie officially said "Wall Hawk"! She might be the earliest! :)

That's my Girl!

My soon to be 5 year old pushes my limits to no ends, and I desperately want to deny the fact that she is a lot like me.

But, she is.

She made a matching game the other day with my scrapbooking supplies. It was pretty good idea.

And, I am proud to say, she threw two, last minute parties over the past couple weeks. She threw a swim party and invited cousins, and she had a Popsicle party and invited Uncle Josh, and Popsie, and Mimi. :)  I walked outside one day, and they were all sitting on the picnic tables eating popsicles. That silly girl!

Day Trip

Mom and I headed to the fabric shop in Kerrville because there was a pieced quilt top she bought there 3 years ago, and now, Brianne wants to use that for Lexi's bedding, and mom was hoping they might still have the coordinating fabrics.  Yeah Right!!

But, they had tons of other beautiful fabrics that made my heart skip a beat!! These in particular took my breath away.

That happens to me a lot when I am out and about.  It's pretty easy to predict when it will happen. Cute scrapbook papers get me every time, cupcake wrappers too, and cute picture frames get me every time, but seeing rows and rows of pretty fabrics just put me over the top!!

Recently, when we went to Round Rock, Brianne and I were walking quickly not really stopping in any stores, and she saw the "Fossil" store before I did, and she grabbed my hand to brace me, right as I was turning my head towards the store front windows!! I literally "gasped" at the beauty of the purses and wallets!!! It was so funny, we both laughed, but she knew what my reaction was going to be!!

Anyways, mom ended up getting some that will match, and I bought a piece of laminated fabric to make Kylee a purse since she's been carrying mine around. We'll see!

Wedgies are Bad.

Wedgies are bad, but what's worse is when your son lifts up the back of your dress in church.

Luckily, only a few old ladies were laughing.

Labor Day Laughs!!
