Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve Lunch, we went to Jasons' parents for the Dailey Family.  We had some great food, and I won my fancy Salt and Pepper Shakers in the gift exchange!! I was so excited!! No pictures to show!! :)

That evening we went to my Grandmother's for all the fun festivities with my Dad's side of the family.

Maggie being serious about her food!!

The kids loved playing with GG's stuffed animals, especially the ones that made noise!!

Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Mickey. Love them.

My Dad's Siblings. 3 boys: Brian, Bob, Bruce.
3 girls: Phyllis, Priscilla, Pam

I looked down one time and saw Jaxon and Sutton playing "farm" with the animals and tractor. It melted my heart!!

Jaxon and Karter were the big kids that had to help Aunt Cil with bingo!! We won lots of good prizes. *wink*

We hurried home to get our pajamas on, so Santa could come!!

Christmas with Friends

Last Friday, we went through the Christmas Lights with our friends. It was a blast!! They brought their trailer filled with hay bales, so we bundled up and enjoyed the lights.

We enjoyed the live nativity!!

Jason and Maggie stayed home and started a fire since it was a little cold for little ones. We came back to our house afterwards, and warmed up with some Taco Soup and Cookies!!!

On Sunday Night, Addi came to spend the night.  I think having her over added even more excitement to the Christmas spirit!!

Girls, Cousins, Friends!!

Exactly Like Somebody

These 2 munchkins are so funny these days!! Enjoying every minute with them. (Have yet to get a Christmas Pajama picture with all 3)

Kylee is so girly, girly lately. In to all things fashion.   Loves putting on big clip-on earrings, carrying a bag every time we leave, applying chap stick all day long, wearing headbands, wearing a pair of HIGH heel shoes from cousin Addi.  Can get really silly around her cousins and friends. Enjoys crafts, gluing, doing stickers, coloring, cutting, and making cards for people.  Gets her babies out and sits them in chairs to teach them, carries them around, and talks to them all day long.

But, when we go in public she is so QUIET, looks down at the ground, bites her finger nail, and won't talk.  She is so shy and reserved, which is EXACTLY like Jason.  I don't mind her being shy, but I don't like the fact that she won't respond with, please, thank you, or hi.  I have my work cut out for me!! :)

This guy is F-U-N!! I mean doesn't he look fun!!
Talks all the time, to nearly anybody. Walks into the room where everybody is, and says "I here!!"

Fun and Talkative = Big Trouble
He loves playing with Kylee. Talks to her all day.  Says everything he wants to say. He likes to go with me places, but town is not his favorite, so he is usually torn about it. Loves going to the barn and "working" with Daddy. Has no fear of getting hurt and is so tough.

Fun, Talkative, and no fear of getting hurt = Bigger Trouble

He loves wrestling and fighting with Jason. Jason has taught him to put his hands up like a boxer and block punches. He throws he and tackles him.  And Jaxon just laughs.

Loves to eat; He loves french fries and chips.  Yes, this is EXACTLY like me!! My favorite foods growing up!! :)

Santa, the Special Visitor

Santa's got his hands full with these kids and their requests.....

Love Addi's expression in this.  Pure joy.

Karter was the first one on his lap, and was very straight forward and certain about his requests. I think a bike.

Kylee was kind of shy, but she knew what she wanted, a Lalaloopsy Doll.  This was her first time to be that specific, normally just a doll.

This guy toughed it out.  He was so scared, but did good.  This was the best smile he could muster out, and he asked for a John Deere Tractor with help from me on what to ask for. :)

And Miss Maggie was the last one to sit on his lap, and she didn't care one way or the other.

My Angel

Our small church had their annual Christmas program on Sunday Night.

Kylee was my angel girl in the play.  She did great!!

On Stage

Singing a song.  She knew her line and knew most of the words to the songs they sang; she's just quiet.

My Jaxon boy was a sheep, and boy was he anything angel acting......

I talked to him the day before the play about being a sheep, and staying by cousin Addi, because she is the shepherd....  That flew out the window when he realized he was on stage and everyone was watching him.

He went to the middle and stood under the star, played with the hay in the manger, and rang the jingle bells before it was time.

Oh Jaxon!! But his counterpart sheep weren't too good either. :)

All in all it was a good night. More pictures to come of the special visitor.....

Hooked

Poor Maggie got hooked by the Shepherd's staff the other night.

My nativity is on a small round table with a decorative cloth hanging off around it.  She was pulling on it, so I moved it all up and out of the way, so I thought. She had already pulled some of the nativity characters on the floor, but I didn't mind her licking on the donkey. :)  Then, all of sudden, she started crying BAD, and was crawling as fast as she could across the living room.  Poor thing had the shepherds staff hooked in her bottom lip, and it was so heavy it was pulling her head to the ground.

Anyways, her lip bleed pretty bad, but she made it!!

Poor Mags!!

Christmas Tree Farm

We went to the Christoval Christmas Tree Farm last Tuesday.  It was a little chilly, but we had a great time!!

Jaxon looked so cute in his vest, but he took it off and threw it on the bottom of the hay ride. :(

After, we had a hay ride, we stopped by the flag pole, and said the Pledge of Allegiance.

Then, we decorated a scarecrow.

We also listened to the man talk about the types of christmas trees.  There are more than 1500 Christmas trees on the farm.

We got to decorate a real Christmas Tree!!

We took a picture with Santa Clause, and then ate our smore in the car on the  way home because Maggie was hanging out with Daddy, and she was getting hungry!! :)

Loved the Christmas Tree Farm.  The owners are so nice; they talked about always remembering our flag and the people who gave us that freedom,

Seven

Addisyn, my niece, had her 7th birthday party this past Saturday. Her actual birthday is not until Wednesday. Every time she comes to mind I just have to say "I love that girl." And then just keep repeating it because it's true.  She makes my life so sweet.

She's started liking the Lalaloopsy Dolls, that have the button eyes.  Well, now, Kylee is on the band wagon, and even asked for one for Christmas, which has already been taken care of. *wink*

There were even sewing machines set up.  Each girl got to pick out fabric to make a little bag, and the boys got to make a key chain!!
