Baby #4

29 weeks pregnant! Hopefully tomorrow I will get a 30 week picture for the sake of the baby's book! :)

We went to the sonogram appt last week, and all looks great. Seems we are still having a girl, and seems everyone is still excited about it!! I feel Maggie is the most excited. Maybe because she's never been through this before, having a younger sibling. But, she will touch my belly and talk about the baby more than the others. Hoping that sticks!

Jaxon and Jason are definitely the least interested. ;)

Kylee will randomly ask if I can feel her, and she is also very cautious of anyone hitting my belly or laying on it.

We are on track and still due Saturday, November 7th. She is breech; please pray she will turn before delivery.

Here she is in all her sweetness!! Looks like Jaxon and Maggie I think. And we even got a video of her yawning! So cute!!

We are so excited to meet her, and wonder who she will be!! Whoever she is, she will be exactly the way God wanted her to be, for she has been lifted up to Him.

AND I bought this little outfit!! I couldn't resist!!

Weekend Crafts

The past couple weekends I've done a few crafts! I've been wanting to make one of the deco mesh wreaths! Let's just say, they are a LOT harder than they all look!! But, so fun to put together!!

I bought this polka dot "H" on sale at Hobby Lobby last year, and knew I wanted to do a Halloween wreath with it!

I've added a few more things to it, but I think it turned out pretty cute!!

Now, I'm ready to hang it on the front door, but I'm waiting until September 1!

I also wanted to make a green and white wreath for myself, and then at the last minute, Mom said she needed something for her door at school, and it was her birthday, so I threw this together with stuff I had at home from some mums! Jason cut the football out of plywood, and I painted it! I'm thinking I'll also paint a "W" so she can change out the football! She said she loves it!

Saw this cute little scarecrow on pinterest made out of pallets, and so Jason whipped some together, and I painted her for the front porch! I'm trying to make her double sided, with a Santa on the other side, but right now he looks like an amish Santa because of the big hat! I'm still working on him! :)

And, I've been collecting some fat quarters for a special baby girl's bedding!

Last Days of Summer

New beginnings and changing seasons are good. Even though at times I want to kick my feet, and not move on with life, like with Kylee going to the 1st grade. But, really it's good. Seasons changing give me something to look forward to. New beginnings are good too.

New routines, new adventures, new changes for the family, and new memories made.

BUT we sure enjoyed our last days of summer. We savored having Aunt Haley here with us doing whatever we wanted to do and taking us to Mr. Gatti's!

Mama got a new loveseat, so the kids enjoyed the box for several good days!

We got all our colors on, and had a pep rally, and still enjoyed the box some more!!

Kylee spelled words, and then took a picture of it with my phone. When did she get so big?!

We hung out with friends. These are the best times together!! Thank goodness the oldest (Addi) is a very obedient and cautious driver! 9 Kids on there, and they all look very grown up!!

We had a water fight one night, that turned into Daddy throwing the kids into the pool, and then the kids deciding they liked it, which turned into some fun night swimming!! Ha!

Bought some back to school outfits! Mimi bought her this outfit from J.Crew! :)

And managed to get to the city pool one more time before it closed for the summer!! All these girls will go to school in Maggie's class in 2 years!! What a handful!!

We sure enjoyed our summer, but we are looking forward to the fall!! Especially this soon-to-be-mama!!

Meet the Teacher & First Day of School 2015

On Thursday, we went to the school to find out who Kylee's teacher would be for 1st grade! I think this girl loves summer a little to much to let it go, and mostly she's a little worrier.

Now this girl!! Completely OPPOSITE personality, as you can tell!! Not a worry in the world!

We put all our supplies out, and found her desk! It's going to be a great school year!

And she has a locker this year!! Moving on up!! :)

I got these little locker bins for her and Emma.

She was all smiles this morning for school!! Time slow down just a little!

Ran into the cousins in the parking lot!

4th, 3rd, 1st, and Kinder!! So ready to learn and make friends this year!

Then we ran into Emma! It was perfect! Helped Kylee march on a little more excited for her class! They found their lockers and put their backpacks up! Maybe one year they will be in the same class! ;)

Gathered to pray over the school year. There was probably 40 people there! What a great way to start! So blessed!

31

My birthday was this last weekend. It's great to be loved on by so many!

I received a text message from across the world by someone who remembered it was my birthday! Now that's special!!

I got some really sweet cards!

This one was made by Jason! :)

I got a gift card, some cups and a daily planner from the kids, and some cash! We went out to eat too!!

I received some great presents, like the one below, from my SIL, Melissa! She taught me to love the iced carmel macchiato from Starbucks, while we were in DC!! So I'll be making some from home now!!

Blessed by so many!

Little Here and There

We've been in the house for nearly a year and a half! Hard to believe! It is so hard to finish and be completely happy with all the color schemes/decorating the moment you move in!

So, I'm still adding things here and there, and Jason is being so kind to "move" things!!

We added this clock! Eventually I think I'll move the clock off the mantel to our bedroom.

Found some curtains way on sale at Pottery Barn to add to our eating nook! I love them!

And our bedroom is probably the least finished room in the whole house (and Maggie's room). Nothing is really hung. I just move stuff around. lol! I have this really bad addiction to throw pillows!! Please someone tell me you have the same problem!!

Anyways, I'm liking the navy blue and different shades of green.

I found this little loveseat on sale at Pier 1. Ya'll the old leather navy blue loveseat that has been in our lives for 10 years is gone!! Wahoo!! :) Jason is not as happy, and says this looks dumb.

Anyways, I think it looks rather cute with all the different throw pillows! :) I want to add a little side table and lamp.

I also have an old desk that I want to paint green for an entry table when you walk into our room.

And, I finally ordered a dining room table! This is what it will look like.

This has been so hard to decide, but its from a company in Chicago called Rustic Elements Furniture. Talked to the owner on the phone, so I'm really excited about it!! It won't be ready until November. I think I'm going to do this type of chair on the side, and then two fabric big chairs on the end. We'll see!

And I'm dying inside. I want to get my fall decorations out of the attic so BAD!! It's my most favorite decorations!! I'm making myself wait until September! Lol!

Pirate Party

We celebrated on Saturday Night for this little guy turning 5!! I can't believe he is 5. I had the little red "5" candle laying around this week, and I kept doing a double take at it, because it just didn't look right!

God has given me such a great love for him. So, big and so real, just can't describe it.

I'm so glad he chose pirate party! I found his little shirt at gap, the swords and eye patches came from Amazon, and the pirate hats from the party section at Target.

We ate burgers, fries, fruit, cupcakes, oreo balls, lemon bars, and ice cream. He requested chocolate cupcakes for his party, and then the night of, he didn't even eat one. I think he was to excited about everything else, but Maggie was very worried, saying, he didn't even eat his cupcake! Ha!

The kids used the little red baskets and liners for their food!

We went on a treasure hunt, to find the treasure chest! I came up with (with lots of help from the internet) 5 clues that led the kids to the front of the house, to the backyard, to the kitchen, to the bathroom, back outside to walk the plank, and ultimately at the treasure chest! It was so cute to see them running from place to place. Thank goodness for some older girls that can read them quickly, with pirate talk and everything! ;)

Good times! The kids did lots of swimming, and riding scooters, and they played a little game of baseball as it cooled off!

Little Buddies

I talk a lot about their older sisters being friends, but forget to take pictures of these two little buddies together!!

Jaxon and Easton will start school together next year! They played with Nerf guns, ate a few bed time snacks, and watched some Paw Patrol!

What sweet little friends!!

I will say Jaxon is ALOT sweeter than his older sister when it comes to having friends spend the night.

Kylee is very open about she's sleeping in her bed, and no one is sleeping with her, but you are welcome to sleep on the floor. Lol!

I think she gets it from her Daddy! :) Thank goodness her friends and cousins don't care!

Pictionary

One night a few weeks ago, Uncle Josh came over, and the kids had pulled out the drawing board, so somehow a game of pictionary got started!

It was so fun to see the kids draw stuff.

Jaxon would just jump up every time to draw something, and then just sort of start changing what he was drawing when we all would guess it! ha!

Kylee thought long and hard about everything she drew, and wouldn't go unless, she thought of the perfect thing.

And Uncle Josh helped Maggie draw a penguin. It was fun for all of us!

Waco

We traveled to Waco (the kids called it Wacko, the whole way there) last weekend for a family get together. The kids love Chelsea, and we all really enjoyed our time in the city!!

After lunch and hanging out in Chelsea's apartment, our first stop was this famous place! OH MY! Y'all it was SO busy, you could not park anywhere!!! Craziest thing I've ever seen!! Loved everything in there though!!

Thankful for Chelsea's good driving, she took us to the Silo's too!! I wanted to trespass, but they encouraged me not too!! :) And I think we saw Chip driving around the silos, so that was cool. ;)

While we went around town, the kids stayed and swam at Chelsea's Apartment pool, which was so nice, and then hung out at the hotel.

That night we all ate at George's for some good American food!!

And then topped it off with some glow-in-the-dark putt-putt!! And frozen custard!

Kylee and Jaxon both made hole-in-ones!! Jaxon's was on the very first hole. Ha! But, that's just the kind of stuff he does. He also took literally two licks of his ice cream cone, and dropped it on the ground outside, and didn't say a word. He's a pretty easy going guy!

All the kids enjoyed eating breakfast at the hotel, swimming in the hotel pool and hot tub, and then we had an early lunch at Chuy's, and headed home!

We had a great time seeing aunts, uncles, and cousins!!
