to addisyn

Addisyn, my niece, turned 4 today!! Really and truly I can't believe it!! Jason and I were only dating when she was born, not even married yet. He stayed up at the hospital all night with me waiting for this little girl to be born. This little girl who none of us even knew, but we all loved so much!! It is the same with any baby; how can you love that baby so much that is so tiny and helpless, that you have never even seen or met, but yet we loved her!!
She was the first for everyone; first grandbaby on both sides, first child, and for me my first taste of loving a child like she is my own.
I have been around little kids in the latter part of my life; church, coaches kids at school, family friends, all of whom you love, but something was different about this little girl. Maybe it was because it was my sisters' baby, and that meant more. Whatever it was my love went to a whole new level, seeing her. She was the first baby that I loved so much it made me cry. And she was the first baby I ever felt that way about. Now, God has given me Kylee to experience that love with. But I love those memories of seeing Addisyn born, and watching her grow into a beautiful girl!! Brianne and I catch ourselves saying, "Seriously, why did God give us such cute kids!!". I know everyone thinks their kids are the cutest, and we are no different, and of course I hope that is the way you think, because there would be a problem if you didn't think your kids were cuter than everyone elses!! Anyways, she is absolutely beautiful in my eyes, and I am blessed to get to be her aunt!!
I thank God for giving Addisyn to our family for she was the first....my first glimpse of loving a baby unconditonally!!

I wouldn't have missed your big day, today, for the world!!

I love you to pieces!!
New post below!!

Possible Christmas Card???

Well, probably not, but we took the kids picture in front of the Christmas Tree in their pajamas!!
This is the picture from last year!!

And here they are this year!!

Hiliarious!!

This is how we found Kylee sleeping tonight after about 30 minutes of putting her in bed. I've seen her sit up sometimes and then lay back down on the bed, but I think she was SO TIRED tonight, she must have just leaned back and fell asleep against the bed!!

Busy as a Beaver!!

Hello!!! I have been super busy lately, and Jason well.....he really hasn't!! But that has been good, because he has watched Kylee a lot lately!!

We have the Church Children's Play this coming Sunday night!! If you forgot, Brianne gracioulsy put me in charge of it!! :) I still have to make the banner to go across the front of the church.

We are having a Baby Shower for Jesus next Wednesday Night in AWANA. We are donating all the items to the Pregnancy Help Center. So, I am having to prepare punch, cake, napkins, collect baby items, and of course try to make it all look cute, and ohhhh....ummmm....ORGANIZED!!

Brianne and Me, and ALL 3 KIDS went to Midland this past Saturday to see our great friend, Kelli!! She is adorable just like always, and so genuine and fun to be around!! We managed to eat at Chili's, well, maybe I should first say we MADE IT TO MIDLAND, which is a task in it self!! We went to Toys R Us, and I love that place. Wish we still had one here!! Then we went to the mall, and then to Kohls!!

It was a great day!!

Karter, Addisyn, and Kasen (Kylee wouldn't stay put for the picture, and Jaxon was sleeping)

Jason put together Kylee's Christmas present tonight!! We got her a kitchen!! SHHHH....don't tell her!! I still want to make an apron for it, and I need to make a blanket for her baby doll from Santa.

And, here is Addisyn's 4th BIRTHDAY party invitations!! I don't know why but it won't load correctly!! It is a mermaid party, not the "Little Mermaid" though. Do you know how hard it is to find any kind of mermaid party stuff? Well, just so you know you can't find it!! :)

The Best Christmas Present Ever....

Jason was like a kid in a candy store today, when he saw all the SNOW!! He loves the SNOW, and loves hitting me with snowballs (only once in the head though). :)

He kept saying this is the best christmas present ever!!

First time to be in the snow!! She is smiling!!

Jason and Josh built a few fun things in the snow today!! Kylee by the first Snowman!!

The next project was to make the most gigantic snow ball!! I think they did a good job!!

On TOP of the snow ball!!

Kylee with the boys!!

The last project was to turn the GIGANTIC SNOW BALL, into an IGLOO!! It looked pretty good, but they wanted Kylee to go in it, and she really didn't want to!!

On TOP of the IGLOO!!!

Jason trying to "Coax" Kylee into the Igloo. She finally went in there for a Tootise Roll!!!

She tried to back her way into it......

Finally, they just put her in there; she didn't stay very long!!

Turkey Day 2009 and More

Kylee with her Turkey shirt at Jason's parents. It's a common sight to see her standing by the back door because she always wants to go outside with the dogs. :)

We had lunch at Jason's parents on Thursday, and supper at my Grandmothers' house. We put up her Christmas tree that night for her, and Kylee broke at least three Christmas Ornaments.
I did manage to get most of all our decorations up this week!! But with Kylee's track record of breaking things, i have moved all the ornaments out of her reach. We will see how long that lasts!!
Playing with the Little People Nativity

We have more thanksgiving food to come on Sunday!!
How many of you did the Black Friday Shopping??? Last year, was my first year, and I really like the "hustle and bustle" and the competition it brings when you are looking for a particular item!! :)
My mom and I left the house around 5, which is really not early compared to the Old Navy shoppers at 3AM!!! Brianne met up with us around 9. Here is a least of the stores we hit up today:
Target
Walgreens
SONIC drink break!!
Tractor Supply
Family Christian
Hancocks (yes, only us would go to hancocks to get the 99C patterns, but they really did have good deals for our costumes for the Christmas Play)
Back to Target
Dillards
Old Navy
JC Penney
Chick-Fil-A
Dillards
Bath and Body Works
Bealls
Hobby Lobby
That was it!! Didn't even make it to WALMART!!
Don't really think we saved that much money but it is always fun!!
