Looks like he is ready for a BOXING match here. He's already taken out his cousin, Lexi, who is 3 weeks older than him, and is willing to challenge anyone, eh, under 6 months!!

Just Kidding, but look how handsome he is!!

Jaxon is starting to show his little personality everyday now. He is just such one of us.

He is coohing and talking alot now, and likes to lay out on a blanket underneath is toy with his diaper loose!! Makes him so happy!!

But going back to the boxing match, if you watch him, he seems to act alot like Kylee did when she was a baby.

His arms are constantly moving, and legs constantly kicking.

Very active, just like Kylee.

And he looks, just like Kylee, too.

We went to our first pep rally this year on Friday. I took Kylee to a couple of them last year, and she kind of just sat there, but I have to say that this year, she LOVED it!! She was so excited to be there!! We got there, and a friend came and immediately took her picture, because I have to say, she looked so cute in her pink and green tutu that my friend Jaymie made her for her birthday!!

Then we got a basketball to take home!!

Coach Williams, the girls basketball coach, who mom used to coach with, gave Addisyn and Karter a camp basketball, and Kylee and Jaxon a camp basketball!! How cool!!!

We also went to the football game on Friday night, but I didn't get any pictures. I was a busy mama trying to chase down Kylee, since Jason was busy stripping cotton!!

Annual Pumpkin Patch Trip

On Friday night, our Sunday School Kids went to the Grape Creek Baptist Pumpkin Patch. It was a great pumpkin patch, and of course, the peopel we were with made it way FUN!!

As soon as we got there, they found the car with the "horn" on it!! They loved it!

And Emma's mom actually got a picture of Kylee looking at the camera, and not doing the cheesey smile thing!!

After we the pumpkin patch, we all meet at Mr. Gatti's for some food and games!! What a great time!! Kylee loved it and the whole way home kept saying "more games, want to go back...." heheehehe

And I think Karter enjoyed it too because he kept saying, "I've never been here before, I've never been here before..."

And just for grins, if you've made it this far, here was Kylee last year at the pumpkin patch, and Jaxon was just hope in our hearts last year at this time!!

We love us some pumpkin time!!

Cotton Balls

We were outside playing the other day and I was taking pictures of Kylee playing with her ball, and I couldn't help but notice what was in the background......Cotton!! Well, it's not white yet, but soon to be!!

Jason has been spraying cotton, which cracks me up because we pray for rain so it will grow, and now we spray it to kill it, but that is a whole other post. But they will be in full fledge cotton stripping probably by next week.... Exciting!!

Anyways, Kylee sure enjoyed playing outside.

Two Months

I'm Behind!!

Jaxon turned 2 MONTHS old last Thursday!!

We had the 2 month check-up, and he is just Perfect!

(Have I told y'all I am smitten for this little boy!?!)

Weight: 11 lbs. , 1 oz.

50% Percentile

Height: 21 3/4 in

20% Percentile

Dr. P said he gave him an A+!! He was doing his normal checking of the mouth, eyes, ears, hips, and then he grabbed Jaxon's hands and started to pull him up to see how strong he was, and Jaxon just pulled his head right up, and then even STOOD up on the table for him!!! :) He said, "he's not supposed to do this until 4 months!!"

Sure made Daddy proud!!

But seriously, what better words to calm a mama's heart than to hear A+. I am just always worried at these first appointments if they are healthy, are they gaining weight, are they on track,......

Thank you Jesus.

He is starting to be awake more.

Likes to sleep on his tummy during the day.

Has sat in the Bumbo a couple of times for a couple of minutes.

He is wearing 0-3 Month onesie, and Size 1 Diapers.

He is losing his hair, but you can see new hair coming in!!

Has sat in the exersaucer a few times, and I put a pillow behind him, and he leans forward, and he likes it........For a few minutes.

He eats about every 3 1/2 hours during the day, but lately starting to want to eat more regular....

I really can't believe how much he is starting to look like Kylee, but even more than that he looks EXACTLY like Jason's baby pictures!!

I think he has a dimple on his left cheek when he smiles real big, but Jason said they would have seen it when he was born right away, because the nurse told Jason's mom, that Jason had one.....

Anybody know anything about dimples????



He eats at around 8:30 or 9pm, and then usually wakes up about 3 or 3:30 in the night, and then again at 6:30 or 7.... I'm kind of considering that to be once a night???

Has brown eyes I think.

Is starting to like bath's a little more.

Went on his first out-of-town trip.

AND THE BEST THING

Is smiling and oohing and cooing at Mama EVERYDAY!!

And his shirt says, I love Mommy SOOOOOOO Much!!

Please say a Prayer

Many of you remember that my mom's cousins daughter, appeared on the Biggest Loser a couple of seasons ago. Her name is Abby Rike. She did awesome on the show, and is now doing really well. Here is her website.

Today, is the day she lost her husband, daughter, and son in a head on collison. Send a prayer up for her.

Sing-A-Ma-Jigs

I know you are like everyone else out there, including me..... Christmas shopping has crossed your mind. Or maybe you are knee dip in Christmas shopping already, and have crossed loved ones off your list.

Not me, but I have been thinking about it. Which excites me!! I am always interested in seeing the new toys, and what looks cool out there.

My mother-in-law told me about these. I think she ordered some already!! :)

Women of Joy

Ten ladies from our church went to the Women of Joy Conference this past weekend in San Antonio. Besides the great fellowship with our group, the conference was GREAT!!

The Worship was awesome. Charles Billingsley was the Worship Leader. He is the Worship Leader at Thomas Road Baptist Church, which is some way connected to Liberty University in Virgina.

Sarah Palin spoke on Friday night. She was just what I thought she would be......Amazing. But as she spoke, you see her true heart, and how she tries to live out her faith despite of all the critics.

She brought a prop with her.....a National Examiner, which is a liberal paper. On the front was something about "Palin's Divorce Deal." It was funny to hear her talk about that because obviously they are NOT getting a divorce. She also talked some about Dancing with the Stars.

But the bulk of her speech was about being an overcomer. She used a passage in Nehemiah 4, and then also in Matthew 5.

On Saturday morning, we heard Liz Curtis Higgs speak. I have to say, she was INCREDIBLE!!!

She was funny, and so easy to listen too!! Great!! She wrote the pumpkin book, about how God cleans you out, and then puts a new light in you. Well, I knew about that book, but didn't put the 2 things together that this was the lady going to be at the conference. I bought this book of hers. She spoke some about Adam and Eve in the garden, and then also in Mark 5 on the woman with the flow of blood for 12 years.

And what about this little guy!! He did awesome the whole trip!!

And then again, what guy wouldn't be happy with 10 WOMEN!!! :)
