Most Amazing, Glorious Monday

Glorious Monday.....Uh, What?? Yeah, right.

Jaxon's still picking his nose, after I've told him not to, Maggie is still crying if I don't hold her, and Kylee is still having attitude about what clothes she can wear to play in.

Even with all that, it's still a pretty, great day.  BEcause the weather is absolutely amazing today!! And we are doing our typical Monday morning stuff.

Washer and dryer are going non stop, the dishwasher is humming, my closet is cleaned out of winter clothes and shoes organized, and the kids are outside sort of getting along. It's been a great morning.

We saw a lizard, rode bikes, chopped weeds, and watered the flowers!!

Guy's Trip

Jason and my Dad, along with some other guys from church, headed out on a "guys only trip"!! They quickly named their trip the "Men of Joy" to mimic the ladies trip we go on in the fall that is called, "Women of Joy"!! But, all these men will be doing is eating at lots of BBQ places and playing some golf!!

The wives decided to put together an Emergency BBQ Kit for each guy, with Bible verses to go along with, that were completely taken WAY out of context!! I created a label below, with their them verse: Acts 10:10, " Then he became very hungry and wanted to eat; but while they made ready, he fell into a trance."

Each of us came up with an item to fill the bag that might help them along their trip.

When your hungry between Meals.......Orbit Gum
Psalm 33:6
"By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth."

When the guy your rooming with pollutes the air.......Air Freshener
Philippians 2:15
" a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted society."

When you've made the biggest mess with all that BBQ.......Wipes
Isaiah 64:6
"All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags"

When the guy your rooming with starts to snore.......Ear Plugs
Proverbs 27:14
"He who blesses his friend with a loud voice early in the morning, It will be reckoned a curse to him."

When you have heartburn from eating to much BBQ......Tums
Luke 24:32
"And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us...."

When your breath is offensive from eating to much.....Mints
Job 19:17
"My breath is offensive to my wife; I am loathsome to my own family."

Hope they have a great time, and enjoy the bags!! :)

"Let the Memories Begin"

This picture captures a lot of what Jaxon is all about right now, food mickey, and his eyes.

I made him a Mickey Mouse Pancake, that he just ate nearly the whole thing of because he loves Mickey so much right now. Immediately, he ran to get his Mickey out of his room, to eat breakfast with him, and he also wanted me to grab his "Mickey Mouse Card" that he got from Aunt Hay Hay that says "Let the Memories Begin"!!!

But also notice his eyes. He cries every morning saying "My eyes hurt." It's rather annoying and I don't really know how to handle it.  I mean we've tried the "it's just the sunlight; it will go away." Anyways, it's a silly memory I kind of sort of want to remember or forget... :)

Planning this Mickey Mouse party for Jaxon, makes me want to go to Disney World SO BAD!!! I've been looking online at when the best time of the year to go is, and what ages are the best times, and really I just don't care, I just want to take the kids!!

Mustache Bash

This weekend we went to a Mustache Bash!! I love the idea of the mustache and the little man parties!!! So cute!! All the kids, except Maggie, she was busy eating dog food, got there pictures made with the cute photo props.  Karter smiled so big and cute; Jaxon thought we were all crazy making him smoke that pipe!!

Good times!!

Gatti's or Gross

I was headed to town last night to take a meal to a friend who has cancer, and so we all loaded up and headed to Gatti's for a night of family fun.  We were glad Jason was back in the picture after planting maze for the past 6 days, from sun-up to sun-down.

I always think Gatti's is sort of gross. But, I'm sure there are no more germs there than at Wal-mart.

They have some new games, and this really cool bounce place for little kids.  They all loved it, and Maggie fell down quite a bit, but she definitely did not want OUT!! Silly girl!!
We lost a lot of tokens at the game where you throw the ball up. The kids could not get it up the ramp, so that's when we figured out we were in the wrong section, not the kids section. We rode the airplane, dump truck twice, and Jaxon pretended to ride the motorcycle game. We shot baskets until we were sick of it, and stomped spiders until they were all dead!! Daddy played the "fruit ninja" game, and won us lots of tickets.

My Baby!!!

Is Getting so BIG!!!

Cousin Love

Our Twins....Lexi and Jaxon

Born only 3 weeks apart. I remember being pregnant with my sister at the same time, which is one of the best things ever. I remember praying so hard during these two particular pregnancies, that they would both be born healthy, and nothing would happen to the other. For some reason, I just worried so much during this time, that one of them wouldn't be born healthy, and we would go through our life with only one of them.....and always wonder.... and I remember telling myself to just give it to God. Have faith. Strengthen my faith.  I can look back on that time, as a spiritual marker for me, where God came through big with awesome answered prayers, and was true to his character.... He was faithful.

I must admit I still struggle with some of those fears and worrying, and I still have little faith at times. But, I don't want to!!

I praise God for them because their lives have blessed me with so much joy and smiling, my heart just bubbles over.

April, August,What's the Difference??

It's April and I have been caught planning a few things for Jaxon's party, but it's not until.... August!! YIKES!! Go ahead, you can say I'm crazy and weird!! :) It's just our summer's are busy.  And, it seems in August everything is coming together at once with Awana and other church things.  That's my reasoning and I'm sticking to it.

On my chaotic Sunday, I happen to be on the North side of town, and went to that Walmart, and they had some Mickey Mouse Party Supplies on sale for $1 and $2. I told Jason it was meant to be because I never go to that Walmart. That got my blood flowing with ideas and excitement, and I have been creating an invitation for the party, and collecting the items that I may want to use.

An older lady at church gave us the plastic cups and plates.  Can't wait to use them!!

And, a great friend, got me this for doing a little something for her.  What I did was nothing that deemed a gift this cool!! Way excited!! Can't wait to create with my Cricut machine!!

MICKEY AND FRIENDS Die Cut Cricut Cartridge New Disney Minnie Mouse Pluto Goofy Donald Daisy Duck

And, if you are friends with me on pinterest, you are probably tired of seeing me post Mickey Mouse stuff.  Yesterday, I was a clicking fool.  I came across this lady who made her own Mickey Mouse pinata. She said it only took her 1 hour, so I thought I would just do it. And I did.  It took me longer than an hour, but probably only about 2 total.

My next project are these.

See Ya Real Soon!

My Wacky Weekend

First off, I had an incredibly busy Friday and Saturday and kind of busy Sunday, but the best news is I survived because at times, well, I really didn't know if I was going to.

I was helping a friend host a baby shower "tea party" for another friend in our MOPS Group.  No one had a truck to get the 3 tables and 13 chairs we rented from a rental place out in Grape Creek.  Everyone agreed, they thought they would all fit in my car.  I never thought anything of it again, until Friday at 1, when I was fixing to head that way to get them, and I started thinking that just maybe it wasn't all going to fit, with my 3 children in the car and their carseats!!

I thought I knew just where the place was, you know right by the pumpkin patch.  Well, after driving around for 20 minutes in GC, I stopped and asked, and finally got there.  After moving Kylee to the middle seat, folding up her seat, and moving a LOT of stuff around, they got the 13 chairs in, but there was NO way the tables were fitting.  I really did not want to make 2 trips, so they strapped them to the top of my car.  We looked like the hillbilly family, but I really didn't care. We drove back to town; I climbed on top of my car to get the tables down, and unloaded them, and as I was driving away, my car made a funny noise, and I knew I was low on gas, but I didn't realize I was that LOW. I pulled into the alley, and could barely get the car in park. I was OUT OF GAS!! AAAAAAHHHHH!!!! Kylee immediately started crying hysterically, screaming, "We're never gonna make it home!!" :) Luckily, my friend, had a little bit of gas, and we made it to the pump.  Praise the Lord!!

Saturday morning came, with everything going on, and my children had special places to be, I needed to wake up early. NOPE!! Overslept really bad!! Dang early morning work-outs!! I completely missed the work day at church, and just had to go straight to the baby shower. As you can see in pictures, it was a cute shower, and lots of fun!!

Photo: the awesome party planners

That evening was a lot more relaxing. We went to baby Teela's 1st Birthday party!! All these babies turning one makes me sad!! It was a beautiful evening outside, and the kids loved all the toys that they had at their house!!

And I must just finish off the weekend, by saying Sunday, wasn't as bad, but I did have to go back and load up the tables and chairs (this time in my dad's pick-up), and take them back out there, and unload all them.  I was a hot sweaty mess before it was all said and done. And then, I thought I was going to be super late to another baby shower, all to find out, it's not until next week!! :)

And then this morning, somebody (Kylee confessed, and got in big trouble) must have turned the key on in my car, and the battery died!!! So, Haley had to come jump it this morning!!

Life is Crazy around here some days!! :)

Girls Bedding??

When we actually move into our new house, each kid will have their own room, so I was looking at bedding for the girls' bedrooms.  I know it's probably a while away, but bedding also effects paint colors for the walls, and any furniture buying, and who is making the bedding because it could take a while.

I have been looking at bedding, and I really love this bedding from Addison's Wonderland.

Claire Cornice- Circus

Ava Complete Bedding Collection- Queen Sized

Problem is they are pricey.  And, we watched them on "Shark Tank" one night, and Jason was like "it cost that much money for that stuff. That's ridiculous and you are not buying that."  So, I thought I think my mom could make it..... I showed her these and some more bedding I saw on Etsy, and she thought she could do it.  Now, to make a full size comforter, and to do that many ruffles on things, will take some time, that is why this summer we might work on it.

I love how they take random fabrics that don't necessarily match perfect and put them together. I think it would be fun to find your own mix of fabrics to use.
Bella Complete Bedding Collection- Full Sized
I did ask Kylee if this was something she would like, because that would be bad, if we made it and she didn't.  She said she did.  I don't know about Maggie's room, yet.  I still would like to use owls for Maggie's room, but maybe use a mix of fabrics like these.

Has anyone seen boutique bedding like this at Canton or Fredricksburg??

Happy Tuesday!!

Slams!!

Slammin' Jammin' Kylee!!

Throw those high heels shoes and dresses to the curb, Kylee's got her work out shorts and knee pads on for some

basketball!!

She got some arm pads from Jason's Mom and is using them for knee pads.

Her and Jason played one-on-one for a good 10 minutes straight, and then he was laying down, needing a rest, and she put her hand on her hip, and looked at him like "why are you quitting?" She was having a great time!!

A little competitive, eh? Look at that face.

She loves standing far back, and running to the goal, and doing "slams!!"

Sometimes she hurts herself, briefly, and will limp around for a minute, and I tell her to stop, and she wants to keep doing it.

Crazy Girl!! :)

Our Life in Pictures

I feel like I have a lot of pictures just hanging out there that I need to catch you up on. So,

Mags taking a sink bath after getting way dirty outside one evening. She pretty much can go were the other 2 go, and wants to go were they go.  As of late, she nearly always has dirt on her face, under her finger nails, and in her diaper. :) But, she's happy!!

Somehow Jason ended up with me at the grocery store on Saturday.  In the 6 years we have been married, he has never come to the grocery store with me to do my grocery shopping.  We loaded up on 4 big bags of these, because well, he loves me.  I guess summer has officially started at our house.

Jason's Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin got Kylee a princess baby doll from the outlet mall in Round Rock. We surprised her with it the other day.  She really seems to like it.

Maggie up late one night before bed.  It seems she smiles like this a lot.  Big, wide, and open. I love it!! Speaking of Maggie, she threw 2 big fits yesterday, both included stomping her feet, and both included not getting some sort of food she wanted. That's my girl that loves her food!! :)

Waiting at Holland Jewelers to get my ring fixed.  They were bored, and we decided to take pictures of each other, instead of screaming, and aggravating Maggie.

Jaxon made a "coat of many colors" at CBS.  He liked wearing it, but unfortunately it only lasted for a few hours.

Kylee and I painted our toe nails like Easter eggs a couple of weeks ago.  She loves doing stuff like that.

Lots of Digging

The guys have been doing lots of digging lately.  And all the efforts have paid off, and in the farthest corner of the field, the farthest away from our house, they dug and hit a really good water well.  Should be enough to pipe to all 3 houses for watering the yard, and possibly a bigger and better garden than what we've had in the past. What a blessing!!

I don't really understand all this stuff, but the pump is on the right, and the most it could pump out was 20 gallons/minute.  This morning we went and watched them "pull" this pump out to put a bigger pump in it sometime in the next few days.  The other days the kids found some great big sticks to use as fishing poles.  They hung them in the water, and "caught lots of fish."

So, the well does no good sitting out in the middle of no where; they will have to dig a ditch line all the way through the field and lay the pipe, so we can start getting water to our house.

After searching on the internet and calling a few places the guys ventured off to the Austin area yesterday, and bought an old ditch digger.

I think it'll do the job real nice, and the guys are in love with it. I mentioned that we could probably put it on ebay after there done and re-sale it, and I got a bunch of bad looks. I think it's going to be hanging around for sometime.

Easter Pics 2013

We had a wonderful Easter weekend with family. We had a great service at church, and then ate lunch with Jason's family, and then hunted eggs with the cousins, and ate supper at my family.

Family Picture.
Jaxon doing his serious smile with his eyes closed. When you ask him how he's going to smile, he'll do that pose with his hands on his waist.
Silly Boy.

Egg hunt @ church

Egg hunt @ Mimi and Popsie
The little blue Easter basket Maggie is using was Jason's when he was little. How cool is that!! Maggie actually found the "BIG" prize egg too, but Kylee said "I think Maggie is going to share with us too." :)

This weather has been fabulous for some bike riding.  The bike Maggie is on is one that Jason's Dad made for him when he was little.  That man never throws anything away!! :)  Which is good because she loves it!!

Egg hunt @ Grams and Paw-Paw

It was a great time, but we are already, packing up the Easter decorations and putting them in the attic.
