Some Summer Snapshots

I'm being threatened, by my one and only, blog stalker to keep this thing going. :)

So here are some summer snapshots.

We ate homemade ice cream with our friends.

We rode in taxi's with our friends. We also went to the FRIO with these same friends, and some more friends. There were real friendships made.

To celebrate, we became superheroes for a day.

We had good, quality, paw-paw time, ALL SUMMER LONG!! Loved it!!

We got to go to a few playdates this summer. We loved it!!

We made flag handprints for our aunts, great aunts, and grandmas in honor of our country.

We rode a horse all summer, but this guy rode her the MOST!!

She got bigger and prettier. And learned to walk.

Kylee learned how to "go under". The oldest cousin started Kindergarten. More on that to come!!!

Jaxon learned to ride the scooter. And he got bigger and cuter too. And his hair grew alot too.

And Kylee mastered the bike riding while we were on vacation in New Braunfels.

Just some summer snapshots for ya!!

Nastic's

Hi. It's me again.

I wasn't planning on taking a break from blogging, but it looks like that is officially what happened.

So, thanks for the break, I'm back, and it feels good to be a gangsta. j/k

Kylee had her first class of gymnastics this week. She is not 3 yet, but will be shortly, so my friend and I talked to the people and they said it would be fine for them to go on to the Kindergym class, not the Mommy and Me. THANK GOODNESS!!! :)

We were running a little late, and I forgot my camera in the car, so I didn't get any pictures of her performing her amazing, high-flying acts.

These will have to do til next week.

She had a great time, and can't wait to go back, but boy do we have a lot to learn.

Listen to me clearly: She knows nothing about gymnastics, rolling, cartwheeling, hanging, or climbing, BUT SHE THINKS SHE KNOWS EVERYTHING!!!

Oh my, what am I going to do with this girl. :)

And as little as we know about gymnastics (nothing), we know even less about STANDING IN LINE, WAITING OUR TURN, AND STAYING WITH OUR GROUP.

Twice during her obstacle course, she wondered off to a completely older group, and they had to bring her back. Then, I am assuming the teacher told them to wait at this mat with help for the front roll. The reason I assumed this is because all the other children would wait for the teacher to come help them.

Kylee just zipped by them on to the next station, or on to playing with random objects in the gym.

I told you we have a lot to learn, before we can even learn, gymnastics.
