I finally did it. It took me 3 weeks, but I did it!!
I made my own dishwasher detergent using Epsom salt, Super Washing Soda, Borax, and Citric Acid. You can find all of it at Walmart, but it took me 4 trips to Walmart and asking two employees to find the citric acid.
You see, I'm really not good at being a homemaker, housewife, or a stay at home mom, whatever I am.
You see my cabinets look like this. :)
I'm the mom that doesn't like to cook or clean. I do both because I must, but I'm don't really love it. I just try to start anew everyday with much needed patience, consistent discipline, and unconditional love. And, then thank the Lord at the end of the day for protecting my babies.
Here's the recipe for the Dish Detergent, courtesy of a MOPS friend. And I must state that I simply did it because I was close to being out of dishwasher soap, so I thought I would give it a try, not because I am organic.
And, I might try the laundry soap as well for the mere sake of the cost of laundry soap. I'll let you know.
