Maggie wore french braids to AWANAs the other night. What a little girl with such BIG hair!

Mommy just needs to work on getting those braids tighter!!

Josh's Big Day

Josh's wedding was beautifully put together, and we were honored to get to be involved.

Kylee and Maggie were flower girls, along with Melissa's niece. Jaxon was the ONE AND ONLY Ring Bearer, Jason was the Best Man, and I was asked to read.

Kylee and I went and got our hair done up! Her hair is so fine I thought putting her up would hold the curl better, but it started falling out pretty early into the reception, but I still thought she looked pretty!

So glad I got this picture because most of the time I was fighting with them to keep their shoes on. Poor Jaxon did not like anything about that suit! But, I have to say he didn't complain until after the ceremony!

And can you spot little Mrs. Attitude with her hand on her hip. She actually did perfect going down the aisle; it probably helped having her brother and sister with her!

Josh and Melissa looking good!

I can't wait to get some pictures from the photographer; there's one of Jaxon that is priceless of him sitting down during the wedding, when it was time to pray he put his pillow down, and grasped his hands and closed his eyes so tight, it was the cutest thing!

The reception was at the ASU LeGrand Center, which is where Jason and I had our reception! It was decorated beautifully with lights strung, and fresh flowers everywhere, and the LeGrand Center is so pretty by itself.

We danced, and danced so more, and then some more until I finally had blisters on 4 places on my feet. I wish I was kid, and could just run around with my shoes off the whole night!

The kids got to do the Wedding March, and were so excited about it! And Lexi, Addi, and I did the Macarena! Ha!

Inside eating with our little family. Jaxon changed out of that suit immediately in the car!

I was so worn out from all this! Ha! But it was beautiful!

Can't wait for them to get home from the Honey Moon!

Rehearsal Dinner

It was a great evening for Josh and Melissa's Rehearsal Dinner! We feasted on chicken and beef fajitas, rice, beans, hot sauce, guacamole, sour cream and chips!

Rhonda was so nice to let me do some decorating! I think I missed a couple pictures, but for the most part this was it! They had a video playing of baby pictures that is always funny to see!

Meet the Teacher

We met Kylee's sweet Kindergarten teacher last night! There are 4 Kindergarten classes. Her teacher has been there for a long time, and her SON was in our wedding! :) He graduated with Jason and I.

She knows 2 girls in her class. We put all her supplies up, and checked everything out, hung out for a while, talked to some of the other parents, looked around the classroom, Kylee sat in her chair, met up with the cousins,

then

we went to get PEDICURES!! She told me she loved the pedicure!

Emma, Addi, and Kylee got to have the ROYAL deluxe treatment with flowers on their toes!!

While us mama's sure enjoyed our Dr. Peppers and pedicures! I had damaged my toe nail earlier that day, so they had to "fix" it. Ha! It actually looks really good. Ya know, the wedding is tomorrow! Got to look good for the wedding!

Blessed by sweet friends!

Raw-Raw-Ree

Kylee finally got to attend cheer camp last week. It seems we have been waiting for her to be starting Kindergarten forever! :)

I didn't really get any good ones of her at the camp. I guess I was too engrossed in watching her!

I asked her later if she liked it, and she said she LOVED it!

More Birthday

I got some of the sweetest cards and little presents at my party, that I'll have to post as I get around to taking pictures of them.

On Sunday, Mom and Brianne gave me 30 wrapped presents. Who doesn't love all the cute little nail polish, hair brushes, notepads, Vera Bradley pens, chocolate, candles, gift cards, and more!

Oh yeah, Mom must have been desperate for a gift so I got some guacamole sauce! ;)

Thir-tee

However, you say it, I turned 30 on Saturday. :( But, much to my surprise, my hair didn't fall out and my back didn't ache, basically nothing happened!

I only got kidnapped by my sister, and my house broken into by my friends, and got the cutest surprise fiesta ever!!

The plan was to eat at Bonsai with some friends; that did not happen.

Either I'm SO blonde, or my friends are SO tricky!

Brianne came and got me about 3 to go get pedicures, but we decided to walk around down town. Now, I know, she was wasting time and she REALLY didn't want to hang with me! :)

We went through Mustang Sally, Twisted Sisters, Pink Tumbleweed, walked across to Icehouse, and J. Wilde's. And then I remembered I wanted to go to that A1 Market to look for something, and I thought that now would be a good time, since I didn't have any kids, and I could just run in there real quick.

Well, all the while, Brianne is checking the status with the gang back at MY house, using MY party dishes! Ha!

We arrive back to my house around 5:15, where the bikes were strategically placed in the driveway, so we HAD to park in the front! I'm such a fool, ya'll!! Brianne comes in with me for some reason!

About 20 of my friends are hiding in my dining room, and yell Surprise! Priceless!!

**(Brianne's head laughing in the 3rd picture)**

Decorations! So cute!! String of my baby pictures hanging from the mantle!!

Fajitas with all the fixin's, cupcakes, cookies, homemade ice cream, chicklets, and a photo booth outside!

Jason drew me as a cheerleader with a side pony on the chalkboard! :) So glad I can forever be his cheerleader! Ha!

They had a guess who many beans are in the jar game, and these cute mustache clips for the winner! I'm telling y'all it was the cutest thing ever!

They had a cute, sombrero pinata that the kids loved, obviously!!

And my sweet friends that God has so blessed me with to do life with.

What can I say! Y'all fooled me! The blonde hair is real!

Pencil Project

I found this cute pencil on pinterest, and pinned it under "Projects for Jason"! :)

But, he's got a bigger project going right now; he's building a new swing set and monkey bars for the kids, so I actually did it, and it's so easy!!

I might add a wire hanger to it, and some raffia, and hang it somewhere next year! Should I write something on it? I thought about Back-2-School, or School Rules?? Or might just leave it like it is!

Shopping Trip to RR

Every August we head to the outlets at Round Rock to do some back to school shopping with us girls! Since Addi is getting so big (cry me a river), we need to venture to some other stores that aren't at the outlets, and it just is too hard to make in one trip, so yeah for MOM, she bought us a hotel room, and we went down a day early!!

We checked in, but turned around and walked out to start shopping! We started at Steinmart, which I thought was an old person store, but actually Brianne and I both came away with some cute clothes.  Then we went to Old Navy and Marshalls.

**(And seriously, how does Maggie know how to take a selfie!! HA!)**

For supper, we ate at Joes!! It was so good. I don't know if it's because it was 7:45 when we finally ate, and we were all starving, but we all cleaned out plates. Kylee got the kids fish sticks. Y'all they, were not the fish sticks you see around here. They were big, and so GOOD!! You know me and my food! Ha!

We went back to the hotel, and swam for a bit, and hit the sack for the next day at the outlets!

It was fun! We got some cute outfits to start school, and thanks to a Mom who loves to buy clothes, shoes, socks, underwear, jackets, and hair accessories for all these munchkins!

TMNT 4th Party

We celebrated Jaxon's 4th birthday Ninja Turtle Style. He decided on that a few months ago, and it turned out really cute!!

There were many friends that came, and the kids were excited that cousin Chelsea came, and even SPENT the NIGHT!! :)

Ninja Turtle Masks for ALL!!

Singing Happy Birthday!!

It seems with an August birthday you MUST have some sort of swimming! Every year I wonder who would give birth to a child in August with the heat being so HOT!! Ha!!

Jaxon's 4th Birthday

On Thursday, Jaxon turned 4! Love this boy more than life!

I hung streamers in his doorway, that all the kids loved. Guess I'll have to do it for the others birthdays. We had a donut, and blew out 4 candles that morning!

Rio 2 was showing at the $1 movie, so we went and did that. Maggie and I skipped out since she doesn't sit through movies, but the big kids loved it. Kylee was so cute; the day before the movie she said "Mom, I think the two birds have baby birds in Rio 2." And THEY DID!! :) They say it was a cute movie.

Then Jaxon picked Rosa's for lunch, and we came home, and hung out with Aunt Hay Hay before she flew back to school, and had Ole Gin for supper!

Jaxon is growing up before our eyes. I see him make the "nice" choice on a daily basis, when he used to yell or not share something. We've been telling him, he is really acting mature.

He loves to sleep, often requesting for someone to put him in his bed. He hates to brush his teeth.

He loves ACTION. He loves his superheroes and especially the Ninja Turtle masks, and weapons. He adds noises, and crazy jumps with all his weapons. He takes his cars on crazy jumps, and says, they are "flying monster trucks". He loves to build high towers, and has recently started following the instructions on how to build animals with the Duplos. But, he also has started using the small legos to build.

He says he loves cows, and wants to be a farmer when he grows up, and he wants to play football.

I love being his momma!

Dancin' Fools!

Ok, not quite dancin' fools, but they do like the idea of getting out on the floor and running around like crazy kids!

A friend from high school got married last Saturday, and Jason was a groomsmen. At the last wedding this summer, Kylee sat out of the Wedding March, but she informed this time, she WAS DOING the wedding march.

I told her she had to find a boy to do it with, so she of course quickly answered, Karter, but she remembered at the last wedding that he had 5 girls doing the wedding march with him. Such a handsome catch! Jaxon decided he wanted to do it too, and said he would ask Addi.

I mean thank goodness for cousins being around!

And that's exactly how it went; they all got there partners and followed the grown-ups in front of them. It was so cute!! And Kylee was super happy that she got to participate! Now, she is ready for Uncle Josh's wedding in 2 WEEKS!!

The rest of the dancing consisted of them running wild on the floor. Maggie danced in my shoes, and she also took 500000 pictures of the floor, and I think she snapped this one of me! Ha!

The kids and I left pretty soon because Jaxon was practically begging for somebody to take him home and put him in bed! :) Jason stayed behind to decorate the groom's truck!

Love these small town weddings!

A Sweet School Shower

Four of us hosted a sweet, little baby shower for a special friend. She happens to be a school teacher, so why not have a school shower!! It turned out really cute!

Look at those cute apple sugar cookies!! Yum!! I think I want to order some more for the start of school! :)

And everyone got to take home an apple. I loved all the chalkboard and school buses!

Now, just waitin' on baby Jensen!
