5 Years

5 Years ago on December 19th, we were at the hospital..............

Celebrating this girl!!

How grown up she is.
How I love her so.
She is just the cutest 5 year old I know. It has been so neat to see how much she adores Lexi. You know they share a room now. One day they will probably share a bed, and share every toy and every secret together. Because, well, they are sisters. How blessed they both are.
She makes me laugh with things she says. We were at Dillards earlier this week, and we were looking at the womens jewelry, and she kept saying "this is just, so, snazzy wazzy." I was cracking up.
She loves going with Paw-Paw to check the cows, and agrees to sit in the back of the Jeep when they all pile in with Dad. And Dad informed the 3 oldest that Lexi and Jaxon would be joining this summer to check the cows........ :)
She will start basketball in a few weeks, which I will be attending every game ready to fight someone if needed, you know, coach, ref, whoever..... JUST KIDDING!! :)
She will also be starting kindergarten this coming year. She is so excited, and tells Paw-Paw that he can't come with her..... :)
Well, she wanted a my liitle pony, rainbow party. It was a perfect day, and the kids were able to play outside some too, which came in handy when they found the "BLOW HORNS!!"
It turned out really cute with a 6 layer rainbow cake and all!!

There was rainbow sherbet, rainbow pretzle sticks, rainbow goldfish, skittles, and rainbow sugar cookies.

And rainbow candles.

As party favors, all the kids got tye-dye shirts.

Even the babies got tye-dye onesies too!!

Ok, I know it's not good to be jealous, but in all honesty my daughter doesn't have the "best" hair around, it's kind of thin, different lengths, and looks kind of scraggly.
Addisyn had the prettiest hair!! And when her mama curls it, I just love it. Makes me jealous.......:)

Happy Birthday Addi!!
Can't wait to celebrate again next year!!

Who Got What??

I still as an adult/parent, get so excited about Christmas morning. In fact, I was nervous Christmas Eve when we got home, because "Santa" was preparing to put the gifts out!! :)
Looks like Santa came!!

Opening gifts at our house Christmas morning!!

Kylee got to open all of Jaxon's gifts because, well he didn't care to!!

Showing him what he got.....

How cute is this little guy in his cap from Santa????!!!! (He scratched the heck out of his cheek during the night on Christmas Eve:(

Eating Breakfast at Popsie's and Mimi's. I know a Dr. Pepper for breakfast; takes after her mama!!

Playing with a big ball thing from Aunt Hay Hay. Kylee got lots of games and Jaxon got a farm house, and a Music Station you plug into the TV.

Laughing at Josh's big picture. Need to get a picture of it. Jason found it in a parking lot and gave it to Josh.

Kylee thought the wrapping paper was fun too!!

Playing with the Sit N Spin

Patiently Waiting at Grandmama's House

Karter as Spiderman. Kylee thought it was funny. Kylee and Addi got aprons as well. Mom made them, and Betty Sue added the beading. They were so cute!!

Playing with MoonDough!!

FAVORITES:
Jaxon's favorite toy was this giraffe.

Kylee's favorite toy was her pink boots!! I don't have a picture of her in them, but they are really cute, and she wears them everywhere!!
My favorite gift. Jason got me this necklace. He went all by himself and got it. How sweet is he!!

Jason's Favorite gift was a gun from his brother. Speaking of Josh. He is single, makes pretty good money, and has minimal expenses each year. He GOES CRAZY ON GIVING PEOPLE GIFTS!! Anyways, I was talking to Jason's mom about it, and she said "Enjoy it because when he gets married it will change!!" :)
Do any of you have someone like this in your family? They sure are nice to have around!!

Christmas Travels 2010

We had a GREAT Christmas, as I hope all my blogging friends did too!!
I decided I'll do a post on where we went for Christmas, and then I'll do a post about "Who got what??"
Dec. 23rd - We went to Jason's parents for the Dailey Christmas. We had ribs and all the works, and lots of laughs with family. The funny thing is we did the gift exchange, but when they counted the gifts vs. people, we were one gift short. So, we started going through each gift, saying, "Who brought this??", and so on, after about 10 minutes, Josh (Jason's brother) figured out it was him, who didn't put his on the table with the others. He didn't even have to travel though, his gift was already in the house, he just forgot to put it on the table. Goof ball!!
Dec. 24th - We went to my Grandmother's house for steak, potatoes, and salad for lunch, went home and gave Kylee a nap, and went back that evening for gifts and BINGO!! :)
