Carnival Fun

This was the first year we really "did" the carnival. I don't know how we've gotten away with not doing any of the rides thus far, but we did! 

We met up with some friends, and that made it a total blast for the kids!!

Maggie was to short to do any of the "rides", unless a parent did it with her. So, I rode the Elephant ride with her. When it was about to start she said, "This is so exciting!" Sweet girl! She also did the Carousel twice, and the other kids only got to do it once. She was sure to say that to me! 

The Big Girls rode the REAL Roller Coaster, the Caterpillar! They loved it, and were smiling and laughing the whole time! 

And then of all things, Kylee and Jaxon both said they liked the jet skis a lot too!! 

It was so fun! We ate some corn dogs and curly fries! 

I think my kids are hooked now! 

Addi's Stock Show

The littles and I went to watch Addi at her last stock show. She did so good. I just love this girl!! And Paw-Paw did good too!! 

She's learned so much this year, and I feel like Dad is back into the swing of things too, after being out of stock shows for 13 years! It will start again this summer looking for some show lambs for next year, and a running dog. The one I found for him didn't pan out! ;)

She showed 5 lambs, and 2 of them made the first cut, which is really good considering there are 60+ in a class. But, there is also some down time in between, so we ate lunch at Franco's, and Dad and I reminisced about our stock show days! :) It was a good day!

Sisters

Seeing things like this is so good to a mother's soul. 

Most days I am combatting the fighting, hitting, Maggie biting, or even mean words said between each other.

But, this brings it down to the core of their heart. Love.

Best Day Ever

Saturday was the BEST DAY EVER according to my kids! 

We went to celebrate Easton and Jarrett's birthday party, at the BOUNCE HOUSE PLACE!! The kids ran, and ran, and ran! It  was our first time there, and it was so nice!

Then we decided to hit up Chick-fil-A for lunch with our friends!!

Then, Emma and Easton got to come with us to the park!! I'm telling you it was a great day!! Easton was so sweet…. Maggie wanted to swing in the big swing, and so he said you can swing with me!

They came home with us, and they played so hard for a few hours together!! And they all enjoyed some ice cream!! Yum!!

Then, in the night, Maggie woke up with the stomach bug, and we've all managed to get it since then! :( 

But, it still was a great day!! 

Valentine Party

I love going to Kylee's events at school! We got to enjoy her Valentine Party last week, which was yummy and fun! Kindergarten is so GREAT! They are all so happy and nice to each other, and get excited over little things, what a joy to see!

Kylee's 2nd Tooth

Kylee finally lost her second tooth on Wednesday night. It's been really loose for about 2 weeks, until it got to the point of literally barely hanging on. So we convinced her to let Daddy pull it. He's pulled both of her teeth!! :)

The tooth fairy didn't make it the first night (oops!), but she came through last night! ;) And, she was so excited she got a crisp $5 bill!! 

Sweet Maggie keeps saying she has a loose tooth!!

Quick Trip to Town

I promised the littles some park time, if we could get through some errands fairly quick! We made it to Target, Sonic, and HEB!! :)

The best slide in town!! They always request to go to this park with this slide!! 

Crazy kids! Maggie had so much fun, she wet her pants and didn't even come tell me! :)

Wonder Woman Watch

Kylee got a $5 gift card to Walmart at Christmas from my cousin, so she decided to spend it on Saturday. 

She decided she wanted a watch, but some of them were $10 (she read the price). I told her she didn't have enough, but then we found these Wonder Woman watches for $4.97. She was really excited it was under $5! I love seeing her learn prices, and understand one was over, and one was under!

Maggie's Birthday Party is "Little Miss Sunshine", but you can't buy any of these products in the states..... So, I've ordered a couple things, but decided to try my hand at making some of the characters for table decorations. I think they turned out cute!

I just laugh at all the different ones. There are 100's of them. I think there personalities are so cute! The kids have been looking at them, and after you tell them their name, Jaxon just laughs! Good times! 

A measure of fun!

How do you measure how much fun you had at the super bowl party? 

The size of holes in your socks! Ha! 

We hosted our church super bowl party last night! I just have to say our little church has the sweetest people in it!! The youth are AWESOME to our big kids, and sweet Maggie loves playing with anybody older than her. They played outside most of the night, which meant ice cold fingers, but they ran around so many times, and pushed each other on scooters, and climbed the fort, and then came inside for more food and drinks every so often! 

It was a fun night, according to Kylees' socks!!
