Random Thoughts for Thursday

- Kylee turned 5 Months old Yesterday!! I can't believe she is getting so big. Time flies by!! I just pray that I can remember all the neat things she is doing.
- Jason made Strawberry Slushes for us. They were delicious!!!

- I joined the Health Club today. I was a member of the TwoFit when I was pregnant. They let you come for $10/month for a year, which is really awesome. But my year is up, so I rejoined. I plan on attending Body Pump. It says fastest way to burn fat, tone muscles, and strengthen your body. Well, see if it works!! I've heard it is really hard!!

- On Saturday, I have 4 places to be!! I plan on making 3 of them!! Church Work Day, Birthday Party, a Wedding Shower, and Phi Lamb Alumni Luncheon!!

- Thats it for my Thoughts for Thursday!!
- Oh yeah, and Brianne informed me, that the top left picture of Kylee on my blog looks like she is holding a BRA!! Well, it's not a bra. I had cut out a pink heart for Valentines day, and she is holding that!! Just wanted to clarify!!

A Rodeo and A Wedding

On Friday Night, we went to the Rodeo. This was Kylee's First Rodeo. She did really good; she just looks around and smiles at everything. She was so sleepy, but didn't want to miss anything, but finally she just turned to Jason and put her head down and she was asleep within like 5 seconds. Silly girl!!

Her rodeo outfit came from my cousin; it was a little big, but fit the occasion very well.

Jason's eye was red because he got hit with a big dirt clod in the field that day; he said it hurt really bad.

Kylee loves Addi. And I think Addisyn feels the same!! She lets Kylee pull her hair and lick her face. What a good friend!!

On Saturday, I went and ran in the last of the Trail Series 5K. It was SOOOOO cold; there was actually a lot of people out there. Then I left there, and went to a shower for a highschool friend. It was downtown were the parade was going on, and I had to park really far away, and walk. And then I had to cross in front of the parade with my gift. I looked really dumb. Oh well!! Then Saturday afternoon, we went to a wedding for Olivia (another highschool friend). You can read Susan's Blog to hear about it. This was Kylee's First Wedding to go to as well!!! I didn't get any pictures there.

Yesterday, Dad took Addi and Karter to the sheep show. And Kylee and I decided we would join them. It was so crowded, and Karter doesn't sit still so we were moving all the time. But we enjoyed it!! I'll let Brianne post more about it!

I Like to Move It, Move It

Kylee was scootin and movin this morning. After I fed her, I laid her down in front of the TV on a blanket, and I looked up and she was all the way under the coffee table, and then in a minute I looked up again and she was out from under the coffee table and on the other side. I don't know how she got there, but she is definetely figuring out how to move.

Also, one of my mom's teacher friends at school painted this sign for Kylee's Room. I thought it was really cute. I am going to hang it somewhere, but I thought I would post a pic of it.

HAVE A GREAT FRIDAY!! WE ARE GOING TO THE RODEO TONIGHT!!

PICTURES TO COME!!

Eating Cereal

We just keep moving up in the world over here!! Kylee tried cereal for the first time the other day. We acted like she liked it; I think she was more interested in the spoon, and I don't know how much she got in, but we kept hearing her "SLIRP" it, like she was drinking a bottle or something. It was a fun experience.

We went for a walk the other morning, and now she sits in the front of the stroller. But she was making me laugh because she kept putting her hands on the side of the stroller, like "LOOK OUT WORLD, HERE I COME!!"

And she got to take a bath in the big bath tub. But I decided she is still a little small for it, so now I am giving them to her in the sink bath tub thing. She seemed to like it though.

Hope you have a Happy Monday!!!

Highlights & High Heels

I went today and got my hair highlighted. I wanted nothing drastic, just something very suttle. I think she did a good job. Jason always wants me to get highlights, I just hated keeping them up and they cost alot, but I dediced I would for the spring and summer coming up. I don't think you can tell in the picture very much.

Now, to the High Heels......I don't know what I was thinking. But after walking into the Dillards shoe department yesterday, and looking at the current "stylish" shoes, I figured out that I had been out of style for quite some time now. They were still having there 70% off some of their shoes. So I found these high heels that I liked. I thought they would go with a lot and looked "stylish" according to what they had on the display. :) So we'll see if I can wear them. I have been praciticing wearing them around the house today and haven't fallen yet.

Moving up in the world

Last week, we went to the mall, and I had Kylee in her carseat and then put her in the stroller, like I always do. Well, she let me know good and clear that she did not like laying back anymore by squilling really loud. So I had gotten the grocery cart cover out and figured that pretty soon we could just start sitting her in the grocery cart. Well, today at Wal-mart I wasn't planning to put her in the front, but again she did her squill thing, and so out she went in the front. She looked like such a big girl sitting there. I told her to hand on to the cart with BOTH hands, and she did. :) We are probably still a little small to be doing that, but for today it worked.

Also, she won't take a nap. I mean she cat naps for like 20 minutes in the mornings and maybe 30 minutes in the afternoon. But I really think at her age, she should still be napping like a few hours throughout the day. Maybe I am wrong? What did your babies do at 4 months?

Randomness....

I am tired of looking at the 4 Month check-up post, but I don't have anything to blog about. So here are some random thoughts.

- I am still reffing at least 3 to 4 days a week. I thought I would slow down some, but I haven't yet. Still enjoying it too.

- Brianne has started a blog. And my friend Kelli. Yeah, for 2 new bloggers.

- Recently read "Multiple Blessings" about Jon and Kate that had 8 kids. That is an awesome book. I couldn't put it down. It didn't realize they were such Godly people. Highly recommend it.

- Started tutoring a young boy in Geometry. We have only met once but I really enjoyed it. I think it will help me stay connectted with Math.

- We have been doing an "Experiencing God" bible study at church. It is absolutely amazing. There is so much good stuff in it. I want to do a post on just that about some of the highlights of it. Great bible study.

- I can't believe I haven't even mentioned Kylee in a bullet yet. I know you get tired of hearing about her and seeing pics of her, but she is all consuming of my time. She is so VOCAL. And when I mean VOCAL, she like yells, and squills, and jabbers all the time now. During prayers, during tv shows, in stores, EVERYWHERE!! And she is really loud when she talks. I think we have our hands full.
