08-09-10???

I went to the doctor yesterday for my 38 week appointment!! Everything was great; he didn't check me, but hopefully next week.
I don't know if I am just more aware this time around, but I definetely know I am progressing!! I mean I think I am. So that is a good thing!!
He penciled us in to be induced if we wanted on Monday, August 9th. The date is 08-09-10!! That is kind of cool!! Didn't even realize that.
I told him I didn't know if we wanted to do that, and he said that was fine. Jason doesn't really care; he kind of thinks yeah lets go for it!!
With Kylee we induced 5 days early with her. I don't really know why we did that; I wasn't even to my due date. But my delievery was really smooth, and as Brianne says "I never even felt a contraction." :) So, Jason says, "why wouldn't we do the exact same thing?"
I am starting to get very miserable; where you can't get up, you can't sit down, you definetely can't bend over, you can't sleep, you waddle when you walk, BUT you can still EAT!!!! :)
That's ME!!
So part of me wants to get that baby out and be here, and part of me is scared!!!

One Step Closer!!!!

Things are getting a little closer!! Painted the 2nd coat of red, and then mom came and put the stain on the walls after it dried.

It is hard to see the stain on the walls in the pictures. I really like it in person though. Gives it sort of a "manly" look, or textured look!!!

Still need to paint the chair rail white, and touch up the base boards, and move some furniture out and around, and then we will be closer!!

Last night, Kaci, Ivy, and I went school supply shopping for the church. Don't you just love school supplies!! All the colors, and designs!! Brianne doesn't get all into like that, but us 3 girls just had a blast!!

We went 3 places, and it took about 4 hours. I got home at 10:30, and was so "wired" I couldn't settle down to go to sleep until MIDNIGHT!!! :)

I think it is a great ministry our church does for the kiddos!! They purchase ALL the supplies on our kids school lists!!

And the little one's not in school get a coloring book and crayons too!!!

How fun!!

Enjoyed the nice little rain shower we got tonight!! Smells so GOOD!!!

Coming Along.....SLOWLY

Primer is on the walls, and we actually have one coat of red on the walls in Jaxons' room!!

I'm thinking we might just need a little more red, maybe not even a full coat. Then, we are going to put wood stain on top of the red. That is the goal for this week, and maybe get the chair rail painted and up!!
Hope it turns out cute. Or manly!! :)

And maybe Jason will feel motivated to put the closet doors on!!

At this point....

This is what motivated me to get out of bed from my nap today!!
I need to have this baby, but we are still 3 weeks out!! :)

Friday Finds of the Week 6

I think I skipped last week, but for a good reason. Don't you think??
And, in all honestly, I used my first coupon of the week TODAY!!! :)
I ran by CVS this morning because I knew they had the Neutrogena Face Wash Buy One, Get One 1/2 Off!!! This is what Jason uses, and it drives me nuts because it is so expensive.
Deal:
2 Neutrogena Face Wash = $9.43 - $1.00 MFR Coupon = $8.43 - $6 ECB =
$2.43 for BOTH BOTTLES, or $1.22/ Bottle
Then, we made a trip to Target, and bought several other things, but I needing Milk and Dish Soap. Target had Dawn Dish Soap on Sale!! Yeah!!
Olay Hand Renewal on Sale $3 -$1 MFR Coupon = $2
Dawn on Sale $1.98 - $.50 MFR Coupon = $1.48
Palmolive $2.99 - $1.00 Target Coupon - $.25 MFR Coupon = $1.74
MFR COUPON: Buy a Gallon of Milk and Nabisco Cookie, Get a Nabisco Cookie for FREE!!
Gallon of Milk $2.59
Oreos $2.54
Chips Ahoy $1.89
Total: $7.02 - $1.89 Free Cookies = $5.13
So, those were my deals at Target. I needed both items, so I was happy to use coupons on what I needed!!! And they were ALL the big 30 OZ bottles of Dish Soap!!
And, why was Kylee so excited to be wearing a Jacket in the SUMMER??????

Oh, well, I like to shop Lands End Overstocks, and I found this Jacket in a small enough size for Kylee, at a good price, so I bought it for her!!
I had trouble finding jackets for her that were heavier but small still!!

And, apparently it tastes good too!!!

And, I wait until Lands End sends me a catalog with a free shipping in it, and then I order. Also, if it doesn't fit, you can return to Sears in San Angelo!! Which is Handy because I'm not good at ordering the right sizes!!
On, another note, I was talking with Nicole the other day at church, and her diaper bag was so Cute. It is a Fossil that she got on sale at Dillards. Well, I was in Dillards yesterday, and FOSSIL HAS THE CUTEST PURSES OUT!!
They have these in 2 sizes that are VINYL kind of like the diaper bags you see around!!
And there wallets are really cute too!!!
That does not do good for my "trying to coupon" budget!! :) At least, I have a birthday coming up!!!
Enjoy your weekend!! I'll be painting!!!

Things

There are alot of things going on around here!!

Thing 1:
Things are starting to look BLUE!! Our baby boy is due in less than a MONTH!! I am to the sleepless/restless nights. Either because I am uncomfortable, up going to the bathroom, or anxious for his arrival. Or thinking of all the THINGS that I need to be doing!! :) This is all very typical and normal, I think!! I am going to the doctor every week now, and starting to pack my bag and Jaxons' bag.
Thing 2:

Thing 3:
I didn't send out birth announcements with Kylee because she was born late September, and I felt like by the time I got them out, it would be time for our Christmas card. I was thinking I might send some with Jaxon. When did you send yours out? I was wanting to get pictures of both kiddos made at the beginning of September, and wanted to include a picture in the birth announcement just didn't know when it would be to long to send them.
Thing 4:
Bought the paint for Jaxon's room. Buying more material to make Kylee's quilt for a TWIN bed!! I think it will be out of the same fabrics as her baby bedding since she has so much that already matches that.
Thing 5:
There is a Women of Joy Conference in October in San Antonio that I think a group of us from church might go to......Sarah Palin is speaking one night and Steven Curtis Chapman the next night!!! I am really excited to think I might get to go!! I just have to find out about bringing a nearly 2 month old!!

More Pictures of my Beautiful Niece!!

Jason and Kylee meeting Lexi for the first time!!

Brianne with her pride and joys!!!

Proud Grandparents

All the Girls!!

Yesterday afternoon I came home a bit from the hospital to get Jason and started reading in Jeremiah. Well, first I went to some verses in Isaiah, about the "womb", and then I went to
Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
What peace and comfort I find in this verse!! For all our kids, and to be children. Whatever there state my be, God knew them before anyone on this earth knew anything about them. That is hard for me to wrap my mind around. Meaning if in some way they don't look like or are disabled in our minds, God of the universe PLANNED for it to be that way. My commentary said a great thing that "Christ's plan is already at work in ourr lives before we are even born!!!"
AMAZING!!!

And this is to just make you smile or laugh, which ever!!

She's Here!!!!

Lexi Annell Killam
Born at 11:02 AM
6 lbs. 9 1/2 oz.
20 inches long

Patiently waiting!!!

Seeing Lexi for the first time!!!

All dressed in their pink for Lexi!!

Proud Aunt Shy Shy!!

We all think she looks like Addisyn!! Her face is round, blonde hair, blonde eyebrows, long fingers, long toes!!! We kind of think her arms and legs are a little chubby!!!
Which makes her perfect!!!
Dr. P has already been by to see her; he thought everything looked good, and she even nursed for about 10 minutes!!!
At about 10 Brianne was feeling kind of bad, so they gave her some other medicine to make her not nausea. Around 10:50am the babies heart rate was slowing a little, so the nurses decided to check Brianne, and immediately they could see Lexi already coming, so they called the doctor quick, and she was delievered at 11:02.
Only 12 minutes later; I think she pushed once, and she was out!! And by now Brianne is feeling better!! All the medicines and anthestia make her nausea!!

A 1,000,000 Things!!!

We have about a million things going on right now. Well, not "we", really more just me!!
Over the past 2 weeks, I have frantically been working on AWANA's to get ready for the Fall semester which starts Aug. 25th. I will be having a baby roughly 10 days before that, so in order for it to all get done, the time is NOW!!!

I am excited to say that most of the AWANA is done; I just need to place an order this Thursday. And organize things at church better, and decorate each classroom. All before Aug. 14th.

Mom and I have been working the sewing machine to death nearly. Mainly her, I just cut and iron and sew some whenever something simple comes up!!! The Bumper Pad is done and the Bed Skirt is done. I have picked up 3 small samples of paint from Lowe's to paint in the boy's room. How can you pick out 3 and they all look the SAME!!!! But, I think I finally decided on one.
This is the unfinished bumper; didn't get a picture of the finished product today, but one side is the patchwork and the other side is the ticking, with navy blue ties and piping around the top.

Still Needs to be Done: Make curtains, Make Quilt (my Grandmother's job), Make Pillows, Make Sheet, Paint Baby's Room.

And, I kind of think I am hosting Bunco at the very beginning of August at my house, so I was wanting the playroom more finished with hanging stuff. And I was wanting it finished before Jaxon got here as well. Today, Jason helped and we got a lot accomplished, pictures to come shortly!!

Also, Karter is turning 3, and we having a little party for him at Mom and Dad's this weekend!!! They are helping out, well because
the BIGGEST, and BEST, thing going on right now is

I'll be an AUNT again tomorrow!!

Yes!! Brianne is going to have the baby in the morning. We are praying for God's strength, and God Willing a Healthy Beautiful Baby Girl!!!

Friday Finds of the Week 5

CVS was good to me again this week!!

I had 3 things I saw in the CVS ad that I wanted to buy, and I had a coupon for all of them.

Pampers Box 96CT - $19.99, Earn $3 ECB

Duracell Batteries - $2.99, Earn $1 ECB

Hefty 45CT Trashbags - $6.99, Earn $2 ECB

As I go into the store, I see this tall machine like a "price checker" and it says to scan your CVS Card and print coupons you can use today!!

I never have noticed this before, but it is a good thing!!

It printed 6 COUPONS;

3 of them were for L'Oreal and had to be used THAT DAY ONLY --> These were really no help to me

1 was a $1 ECB that I had earned since shopping this summer

1 was $3 off your purchase of $15 & doesn't expire until 08/07

1 was $4.50 off Pampers Jumbo Pack Diapers!!!

So, my deal soon got better because I could use the Pamper coupon on the diapers I was buying already!!!

For all pictured below, I spent $17.86 and Earned $6 ECB.

Plus, 2 rolls of Spree, not pictured!! :)

My total still seems like alot, but all 3 of these items are expensive items to buy!!

Saved: $15.25

Checkin' Rain Gauges!!

I guess everyone's been checking rain gauges, like we have. Can you believe this much rain? I just really can't!!!
Kylee has enjoyed wearing her rain boots and stomping in the rain puddles at Jasons' parents, but I never remember to take my camera over there.
Tonight, I tried to get her to smile at me one time. And this is what I got.

At least she's looking, but NO smile!!

Finally, she ran away!!

We had a Great 4th!!

Saturday Night, we headed out to Eddie Holik's house, and celebrated a little with some good food and fireworks, and then Sunday after church we went out there again for lunch!!!
Good Times!! Susan, we needed to get a picture of Kylee and Brady!!! :(
Kylee eating with the "Big" Girls!!

Swinging in the Hamock

Then we went out to the lake with my family and did some swimming, eating, swinging, more eating, more swimming, running, sparklers, and then the firework show started at 10!!!

Her first and last 2 piece!! :)

Kylee was really tired by 11 that night!!

What a great day, we had enjoying our freedoms given to us by the people who have served!!!
