Cross Your Legs, & ..................

hope to not go into labor today!!

The joke has gone around with my family that it would be so funny for me to have this baby on leap year, since I enjoy throwing and planning birthday parties so much.

It is kind of funny to think about, and they said many are coming into the hospital last night to be induced so they WOULD have a leap year baby.

I really would rather not have her today, but I guess time will tell. There is only 10 hours left in the day!! Maybe I can make it!!

I did go to the dr. yesterday. I am progressing and dilating, which is great. I go in next Tuesday for my next appointment, and he commented saying "He doesn't think I will make until then." Which is WAY EXCITING!!! And, he said he's only been wrong about one baby prediction ever.

Ready or not, we are getting closer!!

Dance Class

Kylee's going to start a little dance class tomorrow. A lady from my MOPS group has graciously lined all of this up for us. It is once a week for 30 minutes!!

She is beyond excited!! She was trying out her shoes tonight, and Jaxon must have thought those are some pretty silly shoes!!! :)

She's been wearing her dance leotard around getting ready!!

Maybe it will be a little better than gymnastics last fall. It took her about a month to quit staring at all the equipment and kids around her to actually participate in the class. LOL!! And it took her a while to figure out that you have to wait in line, and to not leave your group!!

Should be fun!! Hopefully pictures to come!!!

Biker Days

We've been enjoying the warmer weather over the last week or so, and have been riding our bikes, just about every day. I mean, I walk, and everyone else rides.

Jason, his dad, and his brother are always looking for things to build or make. They made this tricycle the summer of 2009. And of course, had to attach a "bucket" seat for Kylee to ride along.

Jason loves the kids riding on his bike with him, and now I see, he will do about anything to let them ride with him, either by attaching things to the bike or pulling something behind the bike.

It started with Kylee when she was 10 months old wearing her bonnet!! How cute are they!!!

Then there were 3 of them, and he attached the "bucket seat" from the tricycle to the front of his bike, which can come on and off. So, now Jaxon had a place to ride.

Over the past week the riding arrangement has been, Jaxon in the front seat on Jason's bike, and Kylee has been riding her own Hello Kitty bike, and I have walked. She can ride it all the way to Mimi and Popsie's house. She is so proud.

But, I questioned Jason on Thursday of last week, as to wear the "BABY WITH NO NAME" was going to ride. And, he immediately said I'll build a trailer to pull behind, and the carrier can sit in it.

4 days later, he came home with his "solution" for ALL the kids to go along bike riding.

So Kylee and Jaxon got to test out the trailer, although Kylee insisted that she was still going to ride her own bike.

Now, I think this is all he will EVER have to build to accommodate all the Holik kids. :)

< 2 Weeks

2 weeks from yesterday, I am set to have our 3rd child. March 8th.

These are some feelings that I have about it: Panic, Scream, & Hide Under a Rock (a really BIG rock).

How do you forget all of these bad feelings and thoughts you start having at the end of pregnancy?

Some days I feel like I am NOT going to make it until March 8th, and then most days I feel good and think I could make it until April, (not).

Then, my worst fear right now, is "I just can't do it." I can't deliver the baby; I don't know how. I can't change her, love her, and feed her because I DON'T KNOW HOW!!! I am get really scared sometimes. And then, I will be a mother of 3. I can't do it. I am going to lose my mind. I can't wake up in the night, I can't handle the other 2.

And above all my own fears, I am scared for Jaxon. He doesn't have a clue. I talked to my Dr. P about it this week at his 18 month, and that was encouraging, but he will still need me.

When I have been having these thoughts, I quickly turn them to God, and basically my prayer has been , "HELP ME." Seriously.

He understands, and all things are in HIS hands. His thoughts and His plans are greater than ours, so I will march forward in His plan for our lives.

Lord, Help Me.

Brag about my Boy

After having a small ear infection and the hand, foot, mouth disease, Jaxon had his 18 month well-baby exam yesterday.

He got an A++!!!

We are so happy and blessed he is healthy and growing great.

18 MONTHS

Weight: 21 lbs. 11oz., 10-15% Percentile

Height: 31 inches, 15% Percentile

We are still on the smaller end of the scale, but we improved since a year, including gaining 4 pounds in 6 months!!

And must I brag for a minute, Jaxon talks so much. He basically tries to say every word you ask him too.

His list of words:

mama

dada

paw-paw

truck

duck

tree

please

cheese

ball

bath

baby

bubbles

book

back

bag

cup

up

eye

eat

hat

cat

car

And, he says one sentence, "bye bye mama."

Okay, now before I brag too long, him talking this much at a such young age, I see as a problem in the future. Statistics show that girls talk more and much sooner than boys. Not our baby boy. But, when it comes time for school you bet he'll get in trouble for talking just like his momma did. Opps.... I like to talk.

In fact, we call him WILD MAN.

We were talking about it last night, Jason said "he is ADD and wants to be the class clown, not a good combination." :)

He loves to eat, in fact after he is done, he likes to finish off everyone else's plate. He waves bye bye, blows kisses, throws a ball with his left hand, loves playing with Kylee and obeys everything she says to do while they play.

Although, I have a feeling this will change one day. I'm sure it will be like Jason with his younger brother, Josh. Josh did everything Jason said too, untili he turned 3, and then he figured out, I don't have to do what you say, and then they starting fighting, and have fought ever since.

He takes one nap day, size 4 diapers, and size 4 shoes. Sleeps through the night and loves his pacifiers at bedtime.

His favorite toy is his tractors.

And he is completely opposite of my first born, by the end of the day, this is what he looks like.........

He is full of energy, but our hearts are full too!!

Cowboy Night @ AWANA

Since the Rodeo is in town, tonight was Cowboy Night at AWANA. I wasn't going to dress Jaxon up since, he is not in AWANA, although we do call him our little puggle, even though we don't have Puggles. N-E-WAYS, he ran to his closest and got his boots out, and was carrying them around, so he dressed up too!!

Speaking of AWANA, Kylee is in Cubbies this year, and at the 1/2 way point of the year, she wasn't 1/2 way done with her book, but tonight she said 2 verses, so she only has 8 more to go to finish her book. We are excited for her. And best of all, Mrs. Brown makes them review every verse from the book nearly every week, which is great. Hopefully at the end of the year, she will be able to stay up with cousin, Karter, and say every verse at the Award Ceremony like he did last year.

Showers of Blessings

A BIG RAIN

Can you believe it actually rained so much??

Some probably thought, enough already. We got over 3 inches at our house, which is great for this time of year, and puts a little hope inside of you that it might be a good year for the crops. Praise the Lord!!

and a little SPRINKLE!!

On Saturday, a group of girls from church threw me a "sprinkle" for our new baby girl, instead of a full blown-out shower.

A sweet friend Melissa, came and asked if she could throw me a sprinkle, and what a great job she did along with other ladies that made it the cutest thing ever!!

You know how I love parties, and they just did everything over the TOP. So cute.

The theme was "Shyanne's about to POP!" All the food coordinated with "Pop"!!

Oreo Pops, 3 different types of Popcorn, Rice Krispies, Lollipops, Ring Pops, Soda Pops, Marshmallow Pops, and more!!!

The decorations were so cute, and they had favor bags of popcorn to take home too!!

The hostess (minus a few)!!!

Mom and Jason's Mom. So blessed.

Jason's Mom and Mamaw

I got alot of cute onesies, sleepers, socks, a couple of "outfits", diapers, and wipes.

I love this blanket that mom made. She wanted to put the "name" on it, but we don't have one yet. :( It's going in the bag for the hospital, which is semi-sorted packed.

It is still cute!!

Jason's parents got us this double, umbrella stroller.

Our weekend was full of "Showers of blessings"!!!

My Cheesey Rodeo Kids

We went.

We saw.

We ate alot of sweets!!

We made our annual trip to the rodeo. Sometimes the kids get wiggly and demanding, but Jason and I said on the way home it was all worth it because Jaxon was so excited at the beginning. And that really is an understatement.

He literally stood in the seat and giggled, and smiled, and pointed. They had 2 big trucks in the arena, and the lights were out, and they had different strobe lights going. HE loved all of it. It was so cute!!

Then we quickly moved onto cotton candy and kettle corn. After that was gone, Jaxon was pretty much ready to go.

Maybe next year Jaxon will sit better!! :)

At Least We Got that Planned

You would think my mind would be on planning for the new baby, and it is, but in all my spare time I started looking at birthday party ideas for the kids.

Very Bad Mistake.

Very Bad.

Even though it was bad of me, at least we have a theme picked out. And both themes could change, but for now, I am liking both of these.

So for Jaxon I decided on a Sock Monkey party. And the more I goggle and research I really love it. I am thinking red, brown, and orange and white polka dot for the color scheme.

And for Ms. Kylee, well, she picked her theme, which is Princess. I don't totally love it, but I think it can be fun. I don't think i want to go the Disney princess theme. I think pink, purple, and turquoise for her colors.

YEAH for parties!!

Now, go throw up on yourself because you can't believe I just blogged about this!! I'm pretty sure Jason did, when I told him EVERYTHING!! :)

I Never Told You

Because in all honesty, I just was that upset. I failed at my first attempt of winning something on facebook. :(

You see, about 3 weeks ago, I received the Kelly's Kids catalog in the mail. I immediately fell in love with this collection.

The next morning I saw on facebook, as soon as Kelly's Kids reached 40,000 fans, the first 40 people to email them, would win a $40 Gift Card.

This is what I needed.

I could see our little family all with coordinating fabrics. How cute!! Poor Jason.

Anyways, I wanted it, and I wanted it bad.

So, I watched and watched their facebook page, I refreshed it at 40,003 fans. I already had my email typed up, I just hit send.

Pride, jumped right in, and I immediately, jumped up, and quoted

"I WON. I got this in the bag. I can't believe I won."

Well, after a few hours past, Kelly's Kids posted on thier page who won, and

I DIDN'T WIN!!

I was heart broken. I was mad. I was embarrassed I couldn't even win a simple giveaway on facebook. Everybody win's though things.

Life went I on, I guess.

I'm sure I consoled myself by drinking a Dr. Pepper because that is what I do these days.

But, then I learned the facts, that Kelly's Kids received MORE than 3,000 emails within ONE minute trying to win the contest.

And then I realized,

I never even had a chance!!!
