Thoughts for Thursday

Sorry for the lack of blogging. I don't really have a reason, I just don't have anything to blog about. Sometimes I go into these phases where I can't think of anything to post. And I don't like doing post without pictures. :)

+ Kylee turned 7 months old over the weekend. She is doing all sorts of things. Now she is balancing on her knees when she plays with toys. She is also letting go for about 5 secs at a time and standing on her own. THEREFORE that is the reason she has 3 bruises on her little face. I feel so bad. You can kind of see 2 of them in the picture.

I think she looks like me here. And I think her hair is getting a little lighter. :)

+ Mom is going to Canton today with the ladies from church. She is going to look and see if they have any pettiskirts for Kylee. I am really excited about getting one for her. But then again I don't know if they have them there or not.

+ I am still going to Body Pump twice a week. It is going really good, and I am enjoying it a lot. I want to try the cycling class (they say this is the hardest class up there). Dad and I may go one morning a week at 5:45AM!! Yikes!!
+ I did a little organizing in the office closet. After nearly 3 years of being married, Jason still hasn't put the closet doors on. I know. If I knew how to do it, they would be done. Anyways, I like the way the organization looks. Of course, he just tells me to get rid of all this "CRAP"!!! hehehehe It is my scrapbooking stuff. I need it!!
I also cleaned out the drawer in the office and organized it, and Kylee's changing table drawer. I found like 10 pacifiers!!

+ I am working on getting some Mother's Day gifts together. I can't believe it is in ONE Week. WOW!! I think Jason and I may go out to eat, and I would like to go to a movie, but well see.

+ I was thinking about getting my hair cut and styled. It is pretty long, and I was wanting something a little shorter. I want the side part and the bang coming across I think, but not a short bang.

Happy Thursday!! Hopefully the sun will make it's apperance today!!

Gymbucks

Hello Everyone with Children!! I have some Gymbucks that need to be used at Gymboree. For every $50 you spend you get $25 off. So if you think you might use them I'll email you the code. But they have to be used by tomorrow night (SUNDAY, the 26th). Thanks!! I just hate for them to go to waste.

This is What Happens when you Live in the Middle of a Cotton Field......

And the Wind is blowing 40-50 MPH from the South. Nasty Huh??? Yeah, and guess who has to clean it!! You got it!! :)
But that is the least of our worries, Jason is at this very minute having to replant about 150 acres of Maze because the wind killed it. Rats!!
But then I think "Who controls the weather?", "Who controls the wind?" Not me or you.....only God!! Who knows the our needs and is in control of EVERYTHING!!
Have a Happy Weekend!!

Finally, Yummy, and a little Cutie!!

FINALLY, I finished making the Scrapblog for Mother's Day!! After 4 phone calls to them this morning, it is finally being printed. YEAH!! I think it turned out really cute. It is 21 pages long because I wanted it to be double sided so that is what to so long to get all these pictures of the kiddos on there.

YUMMY!!! I found this at the Grocery Store the other day, and I have been dipping away!! Mostly strawberries, but we did pretzels the other night, and they were really good. It is so easy too, just 30 seconds in the microwave!!

Little Cutie

This little cutie is sort of a PILL sometimes. I have not taken any pictures of her lately because she hasn't been happy enough to sit and play. She is so dramatic every time I walk away or leave the room. So we have spent this week crawling from room to room crying. We have the MOST STUBBORN child. I am like "Your life would be alot more enjoyable if you wouldn't cry all the time." :) But we will get through it!! Next week we will be crying about something else.

On a different note, Addi and Karter are taking swim lessons this summer. I went by there and the ages are 6mon-3 years. I am thinking Kylee will be 9 months. Maybe we would like to do swim lessons. So I said something to jason and he was like she's to little. I didn't sign her up. Then right when I get home he is like "Did you sign her up?" Well, no because she said she was too little. He says "Oh, you'll have fun. Do it if you want to." Okay, here's the deal. I know she probably is to young to learn anything, but maybe not. Maybe she will lay on her back, and put her face in the water. But it would be fun with Brianne and Karter. So I don't know. I may sign her up next time I go to town.

An Answer

I think we have answer to the feeding problem for a while at least. On Sunday, we started eating at least, and we have managed to get some consistency back. I think the an answer is we have become more efficient, meaning she only needs to eat in half the time that we used to. I also the running nose she had was affecting her eating and not wanting to eat. Now, things are looking brighter. Thank you to everyone who commented on your advice. It is so nice to hear that other people have been through the same things with their kiddos; it really helps!! Thanks!!

This week.....

...........has flown by!! We have been kind of busy this week, and before I realized it, today is Friday!! Yeah!!
* My dad's horse (or Addi's Horse), Darlene, had her colt the other night. He is so cute; Addi named him Elvis. I love the spring time; babies are born. Lambs, goats, and horses.

* Praise the Lord for the Rain last night!! When you are married to a farmer, this is what we wait around for. Jason couldn't sleep last night because he was excited about the rain. I couldn't sleep for other reasons which I will explain in a few.
* I have been working on this Mother's Day gift for my mom, and I need more pictures of the kids, and quick, because I have to order it, and then give them time to ship it. It is a photo book off of Scrapblog.

* Kylee has been crawling everywhere like crazy. She really enjoys to stand at her toys though, and now she walks around the edge to get to another toy.
* We planted lots of flowers last weekend. And yesterday we planted squash, okra, cucumbers, jalpenos, canteloupe, and watermelon!! Yummy!!

* Also, Kylee woke up with a stuffy nose yesterday, and she didn't sleep well. By that I mean, she cried for an hour and a half. Yesterday she never was real happy. She didn't eat good all day, and was pulling at her ear. Well, I was worried for the weekend to come and I thought she might of had an ear infection, so we went to see Dr. Patyrak. No ear infection, just a cold. Yeah!! She did weigh 14 15. So she gained 14 ounces in 2 weeks. He said that was very good.

*On another note, she won't eat. I don't know what to do with her. She usually eats 5 times during the day. About the past 2 weeks, she has only been getting in ONE good feeding a day (the middle of the night feeding). All the other ones she eats for about 2 minutes and then cries, and won't eat anymore. Anyone have any ideas??? Also, she could be getting a tooth, but we have said that for about a month now.
Oh the joys of Motherhood!!

Enjoy your weekend!!

Uno Huevo = ONE EGG

Well, we only ended up with ONE egg this year. When they said "GO", Kylee crawled to the first egg she saw, grabbed it, chewed on it for a little while, put it in her basket (accidentally, but we will say that she meant to because we practiced :) ), then she just sat there looking at all the other kids.
Next year we are going for TWO.

All in all we had a wonderful easter celebrating the Resurrection of our Savior. We had lunch at Jason's parents, turkey and dressing; it was super yummy. Then came home and took a nap, then went to mom and dad's for more Easter celebrating with the family.

Tutu

Yeah!! Mary's sister made Julia a TUTU, and I thought it was really cute. So I decided to copy them, and make Kylee one. We went to Hobby Lobby today and got some tulle, came home and made it in about an hour, and tada. Here she is in her Tutu!!! It was really easy and fun!!!

All she really wanted to do was eat it!!

I had been looking on the internet about pettiskirts. And I had seen these that a lot of little girls get their pictures taken in, and I think they are just adorable!! But, then I'm like what else do you do with it. Do they wear them out in public or is it just for a picture? And they are kind of pricey, but I still think they are way cute!!

Jesus died for "EWE"

It's a little blurry. But Kylee and I made these for her friends at church!! It is a little lamb magnet, and it says "Jesus died for EWE"!!

Happy Easter!!

No Title

This post is not going to have a title because I have been sitting here for 5 minutes trying to think of a title, and nothing comes to mind probably because I just have a bunch of random thoughts in my head that don't relate in any way to each other. I think that is a run-on sentence.
* My friend from Phi Lamb, Jacque, came down to speak at Retreat. I enjoyed spending Friday, and a little bit of Saturday with her and Ashley. I miss seeing and talking to them all the time. Brought back good memories!!
* Kylee has now learned to move around the house. She is way more interested in the bookcase, TV, and cabinets than she is her toys. LET THE FUN BEGIN!!!

* I just got through reading, Experiencing the Resurrection. I really enjoyed it; especially right here before Easter. Now I am reading, Sitting at the Feet of Rabbi Jesus. I just started it, and it is GREAT!!!! It gives you an insight to the Jewish Customs. Also another great one before Easter. Both are Highly Recommended!!!

* Speaking of Easter, I am trying to coordinate our Easter outfits. I know; I am a loser, but I think it is cute when you can all coordinate. So I think our colors are light pink and yellow. I couldn't find any dresses/shirts/skirts/pants for me out there. I think the selection is bad here in San Angelo. I finally found a shirt, but I don't really like it. We will have to get a family picture on Easter.
* Another note about Kylee. She has been EXTREMELY fussy. Sorry I wrote that big, but I am trying to empasize how fussy she has been. Nothing really seems to pacify her. And then at night she has been waking up a lot more than normal, and has had poopy diapers. First thought that comes to mind........getting a Tooth, but this has been going on for about 2 weeks now, and still no tooth. I don't know!!!!
* And a new game she likes to play with Daddy......knock over the big stack of toys.

Day on the Farm

Kylee enjoyed spending some time with Daddy and Uncle Josh on the farm. She loves going out to the barn and looking around at everything. The only problem is she wants to get down and crawl around in all the grease and dirt. What a typical farm girl!!! Here are some pictures of her on the new MaxEmerge XP. What in the heck is that???? I don't really know either; all i know is it is a new 8-row planter, and these boys are so happy to have their new toy.

Sittin' in the Planter Box

With Dad

Crawling around on it with Uncle Josh.

She gets to do whatever she wants with these 2. Have a GREAT Saturday!!!

The STUMP

His father takes him into the forest, blindfolds him and leaves himalone. He is required to sit on a stump the whole night and not removethe blindfold until the rays of the morning sun shine through it. He cannot cry out for help to anyone. Once he survives the night, he is a man.

He cannot tell the other boys of this experience, because each lad mustcome into manhood on his own.The boy is naturally terrified. He can hear all kinds of noises. Wildbeasts must surely be all around him. Maybe even some human might do himharm. The wind blew the grass and earth, and shook his stump, but he satthere, never removing the blindfold. It would be the only way he could become a man...

Finally, after a horrific night, the sun appeared and he removed hisblindfold. It was then that he discovered his father sitting on thestump next to him. He had been at watch the entire night, protecting hisson from harm.

We, too, are never alone. Even when we don't know it, our HeavenlyFather is watching over us, sitting on the stump beside us. When troublecomes, all we have to do is reach out to Him.

Moral of the story? Just because you can't see God, doesn't meanHe is not there.

'For we walk by faith, not by sight.'(2 Corinthians 5:7)
