Rough and Tough

Kyleee has had a very Rough week!! Thank you Jesus she doesn't have pictures this week!!

Yesterday, she fell on one of the drawers while Jason was putting a dresser together. She hit the corner of her eye. It is swollen and red/blue all over her eyelid, and to the side of her eye.

This morning, I was cleaning in her bathroom, and I think she tripped over the rug, and hit her mouth on the edge of the bath tub, and then flopped back and hit her head on the tile. That sounded really bad, so I was worried about her head, until I looked down and saw her mouth full of blood. It was scary, and I paniced. This is the first time I saw that much blood out of Kylee!! But we managed to get cleaned up, and she hurt the strecthy thing right above the two front teeth!! Ouch!!

My poor baby!! Jason was talking last night, how God really takes care of the little babies and kids. She just falls all the time; and it seems she barely misses getting hurt bad!! Praise the Lord for his protection over her!!

Reminder!!

TONIGHT is BIGGEST LOSER!!! Cheer on Abby!!
I feel like I overloaded you with pictures last time so I'll just leave you with other random thoughts:
- Mailed out Kylee's Birthday invites today!! YEAH!!
- Mom, Brianne, and I are taking the kids to the Abilene Zoo this weekend. Also, hitting up some shops. I was wanting a pair of jeans from Gap, just because I had a pair that fit really well, and when find ones you like, you just keep getting the same ones, you know what I mean.....BUT Abliene doesn't have a GAP, which was news to me, and even worse, Midland doesn't have a GAP, so we have to travel 3 hours to even get to a GAP......:( So no new blue jeans for me!!
- Kylee's going to be a BUMBLE BEE for Halloween!! I finally found some tights small enough, and I made the tutu, and got a shirt! I don't know if she is going to wear wings or not. I was thinking her back is so small, I didn't think they would stay on!
- We are starting an AWANA's at our church, and I am going to be the Commander (?). I think. So I am a little nervous and scared about how to get all this started. If you know anything about it, nows the time to chime in and tell me!! I really want it to work, and I think it can really reach the kids around us that need Jesus!!
- Kylee's one year pictures came in already!!
- My house is dirty, but I was going to wait until the beginning of next week to clean it, before the party.
- I ordered Lollipops for her birthday. They look really cute and yummy!!

Sea of Green, Sea of Pictures.....

We went to the Wall PepRally today, and I sat in the stands......holding my very wiggly, nearly one year old daughter.....it was kind of weird.....but a good and peaceful weird....like this is what I dreamed of my whole life....
I sat in the pep rally today, taking everything in, through a totally different set of shoes!!

The cheerleading suit mom made!!
Okay, this picture just makes me laugh!! This is why we can't allow them two to play by themselves anywhere!! No, he really is harmless. :)

No, you don't have to be quiet in the pep rally!!

Waving!!

DRUM LINE=AWESOME

Sitting with WALLY=LAUGHING

POM-POM socks and more.....

If you grew up in the 80's or in my case was born in the 80's, you remember POM-POM socks. I had a pair and I loved them...by the time cheerleading for us came around in junior high tall socks were in....but I remember the elementary years with the pom-pom socks. Well, I made Kylee a pair (took about 10 seconds, literally) to wear with her cheerleading suit tomorrow for the Wall Homecoming game!! Yeah!!

Jason has learned since we have been married that I love all things Mary Engelbreit!! Calendars, planners, mini books, magnets, sprials, greeting cards.....and the list goes on. These were my 2 all time favorite posters off of a calendar I had from several years ago with plans of framing them....well I just found $5 frames at Micheals and decided to do it. The one on the left will go great in our laundry room.

The birthday banner I made for Kylee's birthday party!! Thanks to my friend Amanda for cutting the letters out on her scrapbooking machine!!

Premium Meme Award

I got this blog award from my friend Chelsey. I have to list 7 traits about myself and pass this award onto 7 other friends.

1. I love Jesus, church, and everything about the two!!! It feels so great to go to church!!
2. I love scrapbooking, making things, and doing projects. This is what I spend most of my time doing, while Kylee plays with her toys. When she get a little older and she understands more on the reading, writing, alphabet, and numbers stuff, I may have to put aside some of the projects. But for now, this is what works for us.
3. I really don't enjoy reading that much, even though I was a member of the Student Reading Council in college. It is something I have to make myself do.
4. I enjoy being involved in Clubs and any sort of group!! I am now officially a MOPS mom and I am still getting to be involved in Phi Lamb as an Alumni Council, which I enjoy a lot. And Bunco. And Referring. Plenty to keep me busy.
5. Fall is my favorite time of the year......I love the holidays.....Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas....and all the projects that go along with the holidays!!
6. I have never lived in an apartment/dorm of any sorts. In fact, I live 4 miles from the house I grew up in. What a Blessing!!
7. I like to smile and laugh alot!!

I pass this award on to Brianne, Brittany, Jaymie, Kelly, Marlayna, Shanna, Stephanie!!

Pictures

I took Kylee the other night to have her ONE year pictures made. They turned out really cute, and I think since they were outside she smiled alot. I would just post the link to them on here, but I don't know if I want everyone in the world to see them since this is a public place. So I thought I could email you the password if you wanted to look at them. Just leave me a comment and I'll send you the password. Not a big deal!!
Also, SHE won't drink COWS milk!! At all!! And I put it in a sippy cup (great advice); she still won't take it. I am just keep offering it to her, and maybe eventually she'll take it. We have also tried warming it.
Thats it for now....Have a great OPENING DOVE SEASON WEEKEND!!!

This Looks so Weird to Me.....

And the weaning process continues..... no more afternoon feeding starting NOW!! Literally!!! Called Dr. P's office, and they said yes I could start cow's milk since she is pretty close to a year, and passed the anemia test!! But as I poured milk into a bottle for the first time today....it just looks really weird to me!!
Also, Kylee got a new cell phone the other day from Jason's mom. I had told her that whenever I answer the phone at our house that Kylee puts whatever toy she has, up by her ear and starts jabbering real fast!! So she thought she needed a "real" phone. Kylee has carried it around nearly all day since she got a week ago. She loves it!! It makes noise and looks real!!
