VBS & a Funny Story

We enjoyed having VBS at our church this past weekend.  It was about Daniel being taken into captivity.

Ashpenaz

Kylee doing the motions to a song.  She still is kind of young for VBS, but she had fun. 

During the VBS, all the kids would come together for "Palace Time" and Daniel (Jason) and Ashpenaz would do a skit, and act out the story.  I had to leave VBS early on Saturday, and the story was about when Ashpenaz came to arrest Daniel to throw him into the lion's den.  

Kylee started crying and screaming, and she got up and was even hitting Ashpenaz because he was arresting HER DADDY!! Everyone said it was so funny,and then it got kind of sad.  :( They took Daniel out of the room, and Kylee kept screaming for him, so Brianne had to go up and get her, and take her to see "Jason" so she could see he was okay.  Poor thing. 

We tell her to believe the Bible, and then we tell her it was just pretend.  She probably doesn't know what to think. 

We had a great VBS!!!
