Counting in Spanish

Here is Kylee Counting to 10 in Spanish!!!

But then every time we try to do English, she doesn't want to do it!!!

She will NEVER say 1.

She loves saying 2, and then repeats it alot.

She says "NO" to 3.

And that is pretty much how our English counting goes!!

Name Game.......is OVER!!

Finding a name for your expectant child, is OH SO DIFFICULT!!
Well, it wouldn't have been, to difficult if we were having a girl, but BOY Names are so hard to think of!!

When we first found out I was expecting and before we knew what we were having, Jason brainwashed me so much I guess into thinking it was a GIRL. So, we had 2 girl names that we really, really liked!!
Easy right; just pick one, and save the other one for later!! :) God willing!!
But, you know the story, we are having a BOY!!! Oh, I'm already having bad dreams about "what to do with a boy"!!!
The DAY we found out we were having a BOY; Jason called me after the sonogram and said his name is "Jaxon".
END OF DISCUSSION!!!
Well, it was just the day we found out, so I didn't want to rush into a name, so I wasn't so sure about it, and I felt like ALOT of people are using the name these days!!
Then, we went a couple of months probably, and just recently got serious about thinking of a name because I said I had things to get monogrammed!! :)
Well, the REAL reason, I thought we should get serious about this name game is he started calling the baby
"JJ" for Jason Junior!!
At first, I thought we were all joking about it, but then it became like "his Name" when he would refer to him, and told our family members it was JJ!!!
NO!! Is all I kept saying!!!
So, then I decided, maybe I should go with "Jaxon" because in all honesty that is better than Jason Junior.
Nothing against all the juniors out there!!!
Somehow, I got Jason to be serious one night, and we decided on
Jaxon Wayne Holik
to be the name of our son!!!
Wayne is Jason's middle name, so their names will only be ONE letter different!!
I feel pretty confident this is the name; we both have been referring to it as the name for him, and have started trying to get Kylee to say the name. So far, she won't even attempt to call him Jaxon.
AND, God Willing we are blessed with more kids, there is another boy name that I like that goes with Jaxon, so that is always a good thing to think about!!! Even though Jason would think it is dumb to think about stuff like that!!
We can't wait to meet you Jaxon!!! Only 6 1/2 more weeks!!!

Last Day of Trip

The last day of vacation we went to the San Antonio Children's Musuem. There is 3 stories of things to do, but I think she would have enjoyed it if she were a little older, but we still had fun!!
They had this huge room with all these balls and clear tubes and big wheel cranks..... It was awesome. Her favorite spot!!

You just put the balls in the tubes, and it suctions them up and away and they go through lots of clear tubes, and then come out in one place.

They had a little chicken farm, and a cow with fun facts about both. Although, Stephanie taught me alot about chickens last time I saw her!! :)
Checking for Eggs..

She decided to just shake the chicken out!!!

Milking the Cow

And this was my favorite part. They had a mini "HEB" that the kids can grocery shop in. Everything was miniutare!! So fun!!
Getting her basket

Look at all the produce!!

Getting some drinkable yogurt

and ICE CREAM

and Granola Bars

and a nice Sirloin Steak, that's for Uncle Josh, he always buys good steaks to cook!!

Ready to check-out!!

Unloading her basket!!

It even beeped and scanned into the computer!!

We had such a great time together, but it's always good to come HOME!!
Now we are just ready for this baby boy to get here!! Well, I mean the bedding's not done and the room is not ready, but we are getting closer!!!
Thanks for looking through all my "million" pictures!!

Sea World Adventures

We went to Sea World while we were in San Antonio. We were kind of "ify" on whether or not we should go there, but in the end we decided to, and it was my favorite place. Every time I go I just really enjoy it. They have the shows, the roller coasters (which we didn't ride), and the water parks!!

We saw the dolphins the very first thing, and it could have been my favorite because we were SOOOO close to them. They would jump and splash us; Kylee didn't really like that!!

We saw Shamu too!!
I enjoyed it, but I asked Jason, and he remembered as well; they don't do near as many tricks with them as they did when we were growing up. I remember the trainer would come up out of the water standing on the tip of the whale's nose!! Do y'all remember that? I guess with all the accidents that have happened they don't do that!!

Kylee never was like in "shock and awe" of the whale jumping or splashing or anything. I really think she thought it was so BIG, and unreal to her, that she didn't think it was real!! Like she had never seen anything that big in real life before.

They had 2 awesome water areas for LITTLE kids!! And it felt so good to get in!!
Sea-Saw in the water!!

We rode the yellow whale, the blue whale, climbed, marched around, kicked our feet, laid on our tummy, and so much more!!! She LOVED it!!

They also had this play water area!!!

We ate supper at Mi Terra's!! Yummy!!!

Being silly at dinner!!

She got a "huge" cupcake out of the Bakery at Mi Terra's!!! She mainly just licked the icing off the top; then, I tried a bite!!! It could have been the BEST cupcake I ever had. The bread was SSSOOOOO GOOD!!!

We went to a Babies R Us after supper!! They have so many cute kids things!! Main I wish I could get to one of those more often, but then again, maybe not!!! :)

San Antonio Trip 2010

We had a fantastic vacation in San Antonio, but it's always good to be HOME.
We all had a great time together, and I only managed to get us lost about 4 or 5 times while we were there. We stayed downtown by the Riverwalk, and all of those streets are SO confusing, even with the dumb map!! But we managed to not even get mad at each other!! And believe it or not, Kylee was pretty good in the car seat there and back!! Not bad!!
We got to see and do so many fun things with Kylee, I just want to tell all of you about them, so I may divide it up into a couple posts.
Also, WARNING, pictures may include one very big, and pregnant lady!! :)

We went to the San Antonio Zoo right after we checked in to our hotel.

We saw lions, giraffes, birds (about a thousand different species....I had enough of them...LOL), tigers, goats, but her favorite thing was the underwater creatures.....

She was mezmerized by them.... It was pretty neat to see her so fascinated!!

Jason and I were sitting at one park table, and Miss Independent wanted to eat her snack at her own park table.....

Train Ride at the end of the zoo trip!!

Then we went swimming at the hotel

Then we ate supper on the Riverwalk at the Hardrock Cafe!!
