Update on Life with Kylee

Everything is going incredibly well!! I am scared to say anything. The past 2 nights I have fed her around 8:30, and she hasn't woke up unitl 12:30, and I have to wake her up then. And then she wakes up about every 3 hours until the morning!! HOW GREAT!! I was kind of concerned that she might not need to sleep that long without eating, but they said every 2-4 hours, so I guess she falls right in line!!

Here are some more pictures of her!! Enjoy!

Daddy makes her do her excercises every night to try and keep her awake. It consists of Jason raising her arms up and down. This makes her real tired!!

The best for last!! She is so happy after she eats!!

She is here!!

As most of you know, Kylee is HERE!!! She was born Thursday, September 25 at 3:13pm.  She weighed 6lbs, 8oz, and was 19 inches long. And basically she is perfect!! She has a full head of dark brown/black hair.  Which was a surprise to me, but I love her so much!! She definetely has her nights and days mixed up, but we will get there.  She is nursing like a champ!!

We could not be happier than we are right now!!

Thank you all so much for leaving comments for us, calling us, and coming by to see us!! My friend Susan had posted a couple of pictures on here blog if you want to see her. Thanks Susan!!

Hopefully within a few days, we can upload some more pictures!! For now, I am going to sleep!! :)

Okay, we will be induced this coming Thursday, September 25th, if she doesn't come sooner. Which I don't think she is!! Dr. said I am dilated to a really good 3, whatever that means.  We have to be at the hospital at 4AM on Thursday. He thought I would deliver about 5pm that day. So we'll see how fast or slow it takes me.

I came across this verse the other day, and I wrote it on a note card and stuck it on our bathroom mirror. God is so good and faithful!!

"As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield for all who trust in Him." Psalm 18:30

Please keep us in your prayers!!

Inducing???

Hello!!! Went to the doctor today, and I was still only dilated to a 3, thinning, and about 70% effaced. I think; I for some reason lose my mind when I go in there. I think because I get nervous. Well, he said according to the Bishop Score that I had a favorable cervix, so he wants to induce next Thursday, September 25th.  I really don't know; I kind of thought I would like to have her on my own. What do y'all know about inducing? How did it go? I really just wish my water would break, or start having contractions, so I didn't have to be induced, but it looks like we will probably induce if I haven't had her before then. But other than that everything was good, and maybe within a week we will have little Kylee with us.

Tomorrow I will post pictures of the nursery!! We still haven't bought a computer for our house since the last one crashed.

37 Weeks, 3 days

Went to the doctor this morning, and I was dilated to a 2-3!! How exciting!! He didn't say much else, except he said "Maybe I'll see you this weekend." I said WHAT!!! But I think he was just excited I was doing something because I hear you can walk around a long time dilated!! Well see!!

Have a happy Friday!

September is Here!!

This is the month we have been waiting for what seems like forever. This month we will welcome our new little one into this world. No longer 2, but 3! This is it!! 4 weeks to GO!! And I am not ready. I have waited for this forever, and now I feel like I am not ready. I am nervous, scared, excited, anxious, worried, fearful, and a ton of other emotions all wrapped into this body of mine. BUT the good Lord will get us (Or particulary me) through this. Jason doesn't seem worried about anything. But that is a blessing for me, who is on an emotional roller coaster, I know that Jason will be the same. The same with Jesus; He never changes; He is always faithful to pull us through!!

We will make it!!

CAT UPDATE: The baby cat died. We think. One less thing to worry about. :(
