Nothing like swimming with the cows...

Well, technically not "with" the cows, but with the cows watching you!!

Seriously, how country can you get!! :)

I don't think they mind!! In fact, they like to hear the cows "beller".

Kylee yells "water" when we drive up every time now!! She wants to go swimming all the time!!



Karter is a wild man in the pool!! I think Kylee was scared of him.... heheehehe

She can actually touch the bottom, and with these floaties I think she really likes the freedom of walking around without one of us holding her.

Howdy!!

We haven't been up to much this week. We might go to San Antonio in a couple of weeks for a little vacation before I get to far along, and I have been pricing some hotels on the Riverwalk. Have any of you stayed recently on the Riverwalk? Any suggestions?

Couponing has been real active for me this week. I have discovered that unlike some people who buy stuff just because they have the coupon for it, I am the opposite. Every time I go to town I just buy diapers and wipes because those are my "good" coupons. We don't have any of the normal groceries we need. :) YIKES!! So, I think I will try to go to HEB tomorrow sometime. I did buy 4 boxes of Granola Bars at Target yesterday!! :)

Jason says "howdy" instead of saying Hi to people; same way when he answers the phone. Well, guess who, he has saying it now!!!

Kylee says "howdy", and it is really cute!! I need to try to video it!!

This is what Kylee does while I get ready; she enjoys pulling on the strings of my shirts, and looking at my shoes.

The other day she brought a book to read, and this is what she did when I asked to take her picture.

But then Mama made her laugh and she was over it!!

Just Can't Get Enough of this Girl.....

In all seriousness, I just can't get enough of my niece, Addisyn!!! This year at VBS she got to go with the K-1st Grade class......

bittersweet.

She's not even my OWN daughter; I'm not even who tucks her in at night, but I feel like she is mine!!! I love her like my own; I would give anything I have for her!!

I love her!!

We had our day of VBS today, and I just kept getting glimpses of her, that were just so cute, and precious!! She's not even doing anything really cute or cool, but I guess that is how we are with our own kids,

or our own nieces!! :)

Craft Time. Like I said, I caught myself watching her a lot (or the whole time :) ), but during crafts she was sitting in her chair on her knees, and the teacher was telling all the kids to sit on your bottom and put your hands in your lap. She quickly got off her knees, and sat on her bottom!!

What a Good Listener!!

When they were leaving Friday night, she told Brianne to NOT forget they had to come back tomorrow!!! And when they got home she reminded Brianne several times again, and also made 3 thank you notes for her teachers!!

I think she is going to like school!!! But then again, I think she is me made over!! :)

My first week and half after couponing I feel good about myself, until I compare my finds with about a zillon other women on the internet that coupon. Some of these women are awesome!!

But that's okay!!

I think overall I have saved $52.43 since a week and a half ago.

Alot of that is on diapers because combining the coupons I have right now for Huggies I can get $5 off every diaper and wipes I buy. So, since we will have 2 kids in diapers come Fall I am buying diapers every time I go to town , so my coupons won't expire on me. I can save $10 every time I buy 2 deals of wipes and one package of diapers.

Welcome to our Family

The Cat in the Hat

All I can say is....... a m a z i n g

He's with us, forever, now!!

My friend, Jaymie, came today and painted him in our playroom!! It is a lot of work especially when, the sweet Kylee, spills the black paint on the floor, and you have to spend time cleaning that up!!

I think we survived though!!

Jaymie also hung this for me, and basically helped me design the lettering the way I liked it!!!

Swimming Time or as Kylee calls it, ater (water)

She was

SSSSSOOOOO Excited

to get in the water!!!! Maybe I hyped her up a little too much..... :)

They are in the BIG kids class!!! So cute!!

Swimming Lessons went good. We are in the "Mommy and Me" class, so me in all my "glorious" 7 month pregnant self got in the water with Kylee.

Like I said, she was so excited about the swimming, and kept saying "ater" over and over. And she kept wanting to go to the edge before the class in front of us was over.

f i n a l l y

our class started, we made our way in the water along with 5 other kids and their mama's,

immediately

she starts saying as loud as she can "OUT, OUT, OUT"..... over and over. So every mom and the lifeguard knew what she was saying!!

I think the water was cold, and she didn't like it. She did warm up to it, and the teacher some as the class went on.

She wasn't just totally thrilled about doing all the things the teacher said, but "we" did our best!!

She was super thrilled to jump off the side of the pool at the end of class!!
