Experiencing being a mother for the 2nd time I am starting to remember all the things it holds.....

Let the Countdown Begin....

I went to the doctor today!!

First, I went to town early to get my car washed and get a pedicure. I got to the pedicure place at exactly 9 when it opened. Well, my guy kept getting up and doing stuff, like filling empty bottles with stuff!! I was getting kind of anxious and thought surely I will be out of here in time for my appointment at 10.

Well, I looked down at my watch when he had just started painting them, and it was 9:52, and I thought "oh no, I'm going to be late..... what if he can't see me today...... aaaarrrrrggggghhhhhh"

So, I called the dr. office and she said that was fine that I was late. Ended up arriving at 10:05!!!

I don't know if that got me in a panic mode or what, but when I sat down and the nurse took my blood pressure, it was HIGH!!! Then I was more nervous I guess because when the doctor came in , he said "you look nervous." They took it again about 10 minutes later and it was lower, still not my normal low. Brianne has a blood pressure cuff that I took home with me tonight, and it was low again tonight, so that is good!!

And mom says I have been nervous and anxious since this past Sunday!! I don't know, but sometimes mom's know best!! :)

Anyways, he checked me and I am in between a 3 and a 4, and thinning out!! He thought all looked really good!!

The GAME Plan from here......

We will go in Monday morning at 5am if Jaxon doesn't decide to come on his own this weekend. I really wish he would, but realistically probably not!!

I am still feeling contractions, and they hurt, but nothing regular enough to go the hospital.

Mom is out of town until tomorrow night, and then her and Dad are going to Lubbock to watch my cousin graduate from Tech, and won't be back until Saturday night. She is a nervous wreck, like worse than me, about not being able to get back if I went to the hospital!

Pray we all keep our sanity over the next couple of days!!

Things are Getting Closer.....

Things are getting closer with the baby arriving!!!

The room is done minus some small decorations on the walls, and I am definitely feeling like I could go to the hospital any minute.

Now, I have never had my water break at home, but this past Sunday I seriously thought it was going to, but IT DIDN'T!! And yesterday and today, I have felt the same way. There is just a lot of pressure!! :) Which I guess is a good thing!!

But, I am still here at home, and still plan on going to the doctor on Thursday morning. Well, see what he says then!!

I hosted bunco last night and that helped Jason get the move on getting the room done. He worked really hard, and we had everything done but the closet doors on, but today he finished that!! YEAH!!

Jaxon's Room

BUNCO was so much fun last night!! Again, there were several times I thought if I laughed to hard, I might go into labor, but then again, I am still here!! :)

We also bought a recliner this past weekend!! I like it alot!! You never would have thought how hard it is to rock a baby without a recliner. We have a rocking chair in Kylee's room, but when they are little I think it will be really handy to have it in the living room!!

I have most everyone's bags packed as well!! The washing machine is going right now with car seat covers in it, swing covers, new onesie's and receiving blankets, to all go to the hospital with us!!!

08-09-10???

I went to the doctor yesterday for my 38 week appointment!! Everything was great; he didn't check me, but hopefully next week.

I don't know if I am just more aware this time around, but I definetely know I am progressing!! I mean I think I am. So that is a good thing!!

He penciled us in to be induced if we wanted on Monday, August 9th. The date is 08-09-10!! That is kind of cool!! Didn't even realize that.

I told him I didn't know if we wanted to do that, and he said that was fine. Jason doesn't really care; he kind of thinks yeah lets go for it!!

With Kylee we induced 5 days early with her. I don't really know why we did that; I wasn't even to my due date. But my delievery was really smooth, and as Brianne says "I never even felt a contraction." :) So, Jason says, "why wouldn't we do the exact same thing?"

I am starting to get very miserable; where you can't get up, you can't sit down, you definetely can't bend over, you can't sleep, you waddle when you walk, BUT you can still EAT!!!! :)

That's ME!!

So part of me wants to get that baby out and be here, and part of me is scared!!!

One Step Closer!!!!

Things are getting a little closer!! Painted the 2nd coat of red, and then mom came and put the stain on the walls after it dried.

It is hard to see the stain on the walls in the pictures. I really like it in person though. Gives it sort of a "manly" look, or textured look!!!

Still need to paint the chair rail white, and touch up the base boards, and move some furniture out and around, and then we will be closer!!

Last night, Kaci, Ivy, and I went school supply shopping for the church. Don't you just love school supplies!! All the colors, and designs!! Brianne doesn't get all into like that, but us 3 girls just had a blast!!

We went 3 places, and it took about 4 hours. I got home at 10:30, and was so "wired" I couldn't settle down to go to sleep until MIDNIGHT!!! :)

I think it is a great ministry our church does for the kiddos!! They purchase ALL the supplies on our kids school lists!!

And the little one's not in school get a coloring book and crayons too!!!



How fun!!

Enjoyed the nice little rain shower we got tonight!! Smells so GOOD!!!

Coming Along.....SLOWLY

Primer is on the walls, and we actually have one coat of red on the walls in Jaxons' room!!

I'm thinking we might just need a little more red, maybe not even a full coat. Then, we are going to put wood stain on top of the red. That is the goal for this week, and maybe get the chair rail painted and up!!

Hope it turns out cute. Or manly!! :)

And maybe Jason will feel motivated to put the closet doors on!!

At this point....

This is what motivated me to get out of bed from my nap today!!

I need to have this baby, but we are still 3 weeks out!! :)
