We are going to Lake Buchanan in 2 weeks with Brianne and Duane, the kids, and mom and dad. Should be fun. We are going to take the boat (it is old, but hopefully it can get the job done), their is a swimming pool, and lots of other stuff to do. I can not wait to get away!! I ordered a new pregnancy swimming suit. It was on sale on Motherhood Maternity. We will see when it gets here, if it fits properly in all the needed areas. :)

We may be swimming this coming weekend at the lake for 4th of July, so hopefully it will get here this week, and it would be really cute since it is red and white!!!

WEEK 27

This weekend we had several things going on!! I just love having a busy schedule. Sometimes.... Friday night, I went to a wedding in Wall with the parentals. Jason stayed home. Then Saturday night, Jason and I went to a wedding reception for a high school friend who had gotten married in Mexico. Anyways, it was a good time, and we both enjoyed talking to some of our good friends from high school. We didn't get home until Midnight. That is late for us old fogies!!! AND it is raining her in the great state of TEXAS, more particularly WALL. So Jason is very happy. Thank you Lord!!

So on to the title of my post. I am in the 27th week of pregnancy. Only 13 more. I can't believe it. We go for the 3D sonogram next week (July 9th), I have to drink the bad stuff, and take blood. So it will be an eventful time. But really excited to see her on the 3D sonogram. And we do have a name for her, but I will dedicate a whole post to it sometime this week!! That's it for now!! Here is a picture of Week 27!!

We've Made it.............

2 YEARS OF MARRIAGE!!!

Through all the good and bad of this last year, we some how both agree we love each other more now than when we got married!!! How is that possible!!! Praise the Lord for 2 years together!!

I ended up getting Jason a bucket of goodies. It contained:

Cream Soda, Skittles, Beef Jerky, Life Saver Gummies, Bubblicious, Milk Dud's, Whoppers, Card, and a HAT (that was my cotton gift)!!! All the stuff he likes!!

He has been really busy with farming, so he informed me he hadn't gotten me anything. Which I was fine with because I get to buy things throughout the year. Well, this morning he woke up early so they could get done spraying and then informed me we were going to town to get me something. I decided I didn't need any jewelry, but I had been wanting a picture to go above the mantle in the living room. I saw one I liked at Family Christian, so we went there and bought that.

Then we went and walked around the mall, and he said "You need to buy one more thing for yourself." I kept saying let's by something for the baby, but he wanted me to get something for me. How sweet!!! So I remembered Victoria Secret is having their Semi-Annual sale. I got 5 new pair of panties on sale. So that was my cotton gift. Then I ate lunch at my favorite place,
Chick-Fil-A. YEAH!!

Tonight, I am going to make steak and potatoes and bread. His favorite meal. And I made a banana pudding.
Thanks for all the anniversary congratulations!!

FABRIC HEAVEN!!!

We went to Midland today in hopes of finding some fabric to do the baby's bedding in. My mom is going to make it. We went to Graham Kracker. It is absolutely adorable stuff. We went there when Brianne was pregnant but I had forgotten how cute the fabric is. Basically they have 2 large rooms of fabric from floor to ceiling. They ship out to New York and San Diego I think. BUT I have this problem of just loving all kinds of fabric. Doesn't matter the color, print, texture, anything. I just love fabric, and I can't even sew. I just think it is pretty and want to buy it just to have it. JUST IN CASE!! You know what I mean. Anyways here is the fabric we bought for the room.

When you look at it, it really doesn't look like fabric for a baby. And I didn't know about it having all that black with it, but they had everything pieced together really cute. So hopefully mom can come through for us. :)

Since we were in Midland, we met up with our friend Kelli and had lunch with her. It was exciting to see her. She is expecting a baby in December. Also, do you see the semi-circle at the bottom of the picture. Any guesses of what that is????? Yes, my baby belly sticking out!!! I thought it was funny. I didn't even know it had gotten in the way of the picture.

Room Changes

We are in the process of re-arranging the 2 spare bedrooms in our house to get ready for baby stuff. One will be the office, and one will be the baby's room. So their is lots of furniture moving going on, and lots of cleaning out of junk for me. I will take pictures and let y'all see. I finally got the computer back up and running from when we moved it. I am excited about making the office look better. Since we moved in 2 years ago, I have never hung anything or even put curtains up. So I have found some fabric I like, and I have a cool Zebra picture from Brianne that I am going to try to work with, but maybe it will look more like an office than a junk room. And for the baby's room, we are ordering the baby furniture soon, and Mom, Brianne, and I are making a trip to Midland on Thursday to look for fabric. My mom is going to make the bedding. There is one store called Graham Kracker that we will look at and then of course anywhere else.
The big pile of TRASH after cleaning the two rooms.
The soon to be office.
Soon to be babies room. Can't you tell. No not really. I still have a lot of work to do.
The mess has over flowed into the hallway.
