Time for a REAL Update

I thought it was time for a REAL update about what has been going on around here!! We are really busy, and we are really enjoying it!!

- AWANA is going really great!! We have had 3 nights so far: 16 kids, 15 kids, and 12 kids. I feel like that is really good for our church, and it seems that it is running pretty smooth. God is great!!

- Kylee seems to like the table. It is actually moved into our house now; don't know where to put it!! Guess I should had thought about that!!

Kylee got this outfit for her birthday, and then I found these brown boots at Wal-mart the other day!! Who could resist them!!

This picture makes me laugh for some reason.

But look at that LOCK of hair underneath her headband on the right side!!

- Tomorrow my MOPS group is meeting at the Pumpkin Patch, so hopefully I can get some more pictures of Kylee with the pumpkins!! And we are supposed to be there early to get ready for STORY time. I'll let you know how Kylee does with STORY time!! :)

- Saturday is our Sunday School Class, MURDER MYSTERY PARTY!! I am super excited about it; my other half is not so much!! My character is London Wilton, and I have to wear a nice dress!! Pictures are sure to come; and of course I'll let you know who gets murdered!!

- We Christmas Pictures scheduled for next weekend!! Do you know what next weekend is???? Halloween!! What a busy day it will be!!

A Girl's Best Friend?

Jasons' parents had 2 Weimaraner dogs, Doug and Randy. Well, they both got into some poison and Doug died this past Monday some how Randy survived. So by Thursday Jasons' parents were in the car headed to Dallas to get a new Weimaraner Puppy.

Jason's Project

Jason hasn't been as busy right now in the field, so he has been working for about 2 weeks now on making Kylee a table with 4 chairs. Here is the first chair. And after I left today he finished putting the other 3 together. I did not realize how much work it has been. Alot of cutting, sanding, glueing and nailing. Hopefully tomorrow he can make the table and then we can stain it!!

Long time no See.....

Well that is not really true because I still have been reading all of your blogs, just been slacking the posting area!! Excuse me while I try to come up with a reason....Okay there's not one. Just haven't felt like it and particulary nothing to blog about!!

It seems easy to blog when I have been taking pictures of events but I just dont ever muster to get my camera out!!

I did manage to get a few this weekend, hence the reason for posting today!! :)

Busy Times

Hello All!! Life is just really busy right now for us (really I mean me), hence the lack of posting!! We have so much coming up in the next few weeks. We have Bunco at Brianne's, a Murder Mystery Party for our Sunday School Class, a Housewarming party, and AWANA's is the main thing keeping me busy. All of these require some sort of invitation, posters, organizing folders, cutting things out, decorating the church, making mass copies, printing and cutting and enveloping :) 3 rounds of clues for the Murder Mystery Party. Huh, I am tired just thinking about it!!

But really I like it!! I like being busy!! It makes the days go faster when I am home!! And all of these events will be so much fun so that makes it all worth it!!

AWANA's starts this Wednesday at church, and I am really nervous and feel like there is a lot left to do!! Praying it goes well!! And it is organized!! :)

On a lighter note, excuse me while I brag a minute on my little one year old!!

I was sitting in the office last night, and I asked Kylee "Where is your baby?" I ask her this several times before and she goes off to her room and finds her baby doll, and brings her back!! Which is a pretty good story, just leaving it at that. But last night, she wondered off behind me still in the office, and before I even looked back I was like "No, your baby is in your room." And then I turned around and noticed what she was pointing at.....................

THE BABY ON THIS BOX!!

I MEAN HER FINGER WAS DIRECTLY ON THE BABY!! I HAVE NEVER MENTIONED OR SHOWN HER THIS BOX BEFORE!!!

I yelled for Jason to come in there and see, and I asked her again, and she pointed directly on the baby again!! He said, "I knew she was smart!!"

And her she is in some pajamas from her birthday. They came from my friend from college who I was in Phi Lamb with, and they have little lambs on them!!

Life with a ONE year old....

Being ONE brings alot of NEW things.....Not bad NEW things....just NEW.....Unless you consider throwing hysterical fits atleast twice a day a bad thing!!!

We went to our one year check-up yesterday. Everything is great!! My baby is little!!

Weight: 16 lbs. 10 ounces (<5%)

Height: 27 3/4 inch (5-10%)

But that really shouldn't have been news to us, but I kinda was thinking she was atleast 17 lbs. Everything else is great!! I did have him look at her upper lip. I don't know if I told you she busted her lip one day, and it bled(sp?) alot. Well, he said sure enough she tore her frenum . The only time I notice it is when she smiles real big; I can see it hanging down. He said it would eventually regress. Also, he wants her on Whole Milk since she really isn't over weight and could use the extra calories.

But, being ONE does mean some new and exciting things are happening!!

Like Brushing our teeth!! I was reading in the doctors office that as soon as they have teeth you should be brushing them. Well Bad Mama we haven't been for like 2 months now.
