Uno Huevo = ONE EGG

Well, we only ended up with ONE egg this year. When they said "GO", Kylee crawled to the first egg she saw, grabbed it, chewed on it for a little while, put it in her basket (accidentally, but we will say that she meant to because we practiced :) ), then she just sat there looking at all the other kids.
Next year we are going for TWO.

All in all we had a wonderful easter celebrating the Resurrection of our Savior. We had lunch at Jason's parents, turkey and dressing; it was super yummy. Then came home and took a nap, then went to mom and dad's for more Easter celebrating with the family.

Tutu

Yeah!! Mary's sister made Julia a TUTU, and I thought it was really cute. So I decided to copy them, and make Kylee one. We went to Hobby Lobby today and got some tulle, came home and made it in about an hour, and tada. Here she is in her Tutu!!! It was really easy and fun!!!

All she really wanted to do was eat it!!

I had been looking on the internet about pettiskirts. And I had seen these that a lot of little girls get their pictures taken in, and I think they are just adorable!! But, then I'm like what else do you do with it. Do they wear them out in public or is it just for a picture? And they are kind of pricey, but I still think they are way cute!!

Jesus died for "EWE"

It's a little blurry. But Kylee and I made these for her friends at church!! It is a little lamb magnet, and it says "Jesus died for EWE"!!

Happy Easter!!

No Title

This post is not going to have a title because I have been sitting here for 5 minutes trying to think of a title, and nothing comes to mind probably because I just have a bunch of random thoughts in my head that don't relate in any way to each other. I think that is a run-on sentence.
* My friend from Phi Lamb, Jacque, came down to speak at Retreat. I enjoyed spending Friday, and a little bit of Saturday with her and Ashley. I miss seeing and talking to them all the time. Brought back good memories!!
* Kylee has now learned to move around the house. She is way more interested in the bookcase, TV, and cabinets than she is her toys. LET THE FUN BEGIN!!!

* I just got through reading, Experiencing the Resurrection. I really enjoyed it; especially right here before Easter. Now I am reading, Sitting at the Feet of Rabbi Jesus. I just started it, and it is GREAT!!!! It gives you an insight to the Jewish Customs. Also another great one before Easter. Both are Highly Recommended!!!

* Speaking of Easter, I am trying to coordinate our Easter outfits. I know; I am a loser, but I think it is cute when you can all coordinate. So I think our colors are light pink and yellow. I couldn't find any dresses/shirts/skirts/pants for me out there. I think the selection is bad here in San Angelo. I finally found a shirt, but I don't really like it. We will have to get a family picture on Easter.
* Another note about Kylee. She has been EXTREMELY fussy. Sorry I wrote that big, but I am trying to empasize how fussy she has been. Nothing really seems to pacify her. And then at night she has been waking up a lot more than normal, and has had poopy diapers. First thought that comes to mind........getting a Tooth, but this has been going on for about 2 weeks now, and still no tooth. I don't know!!!!
* And a new game she likes to play with Daddy......knock over the big stack of toys.

Day on the Farm

Kylee enjoyed spending some time with Daddy and Uncle Josh on the farm. She loves going out to the barn and looking around at everything. The only problem is she wants to get down and crawl around in all the grease and dirt. What a typical farm girl!!! Here are some pictures of her on the new MaxEmerge XP. What in the heck is that???? I don't really know either; all i know is it is a new 8-row planter, and these boys are so happy to have their new toy.

Sittin' in the Planter Box

With Dad

Crawling around on it with Uncle Josh.

She gets to do whatever she wants with these 2. Have a GREAT Saturday!!!

I just heard about this on the news. It is called Just Between Friends. You can check it out here. I have never been to one of these, but I think I might try to go in the morning.

The STUMP

His father takes him into the forest, blindfolds him and leaves himalone. He is required to sit on a stump the whole night and not removethe blindfold until the rays of the morning sun shine through it. He cannot cry out for help to anyone. Once he survives the night, he is a man.

He cannot tell the other boys of this experience, because each lad mustcome into manhood on his own.The boy is naturally terrified. He can hear all kinds of noises. Wildbeasts must surely be all around him. Maybe even some human might do himharm. The wind blew the grass and earth, and shook his stump, but he satthere, never removing the blindfold. It would be the only way he could become a man...

Finally, after a horrific night, the sun appeared and he removed hisblindfold. It was then that he discovered his father sitting on thestump next to him. He had been at watch the entire night, protecting hisson from harm.

We, too, are never alone. Even when we don't know it, our HeavenlyFather is watching over us, sitting on the stump beside us. When troublecomes, all we have to do is reach out to Him.

Moral of the story? Just because you can't see God, doesn't meanHe is not there.

'For we walk by faith, not by sight.'(2 Corinthians 5:7)
