Sorry for the delay in posting every week. I just cannot find motivation to post anything. I just feel everything is pretty boring. This last weekend at the Basketball Tourn, the Christoval Girls won the first game on Friday, and then we lost on Saturday. It was a great year, and so much fun to be a part of such great girls. Now, off to track season. This could be my absolute favorite time of the year. I love being outside everyday especially when the weather is nice. We have our first track meet this Saturday in Winters.
I have gone to the health club twice this week, and swam. It is really enjoyable if I can just get myself out of bed at 6am. My dad and Coach Chitsey play raquetball 3 times a week, so it is fun when we are all their together. The doctor said that swimming and the eliptical are the best things for you, especially later in the pregnancy. I swam 12 laps on Monday, and 15 laps today. My neck muscles are sore. I didn't even know I had muscles there that I used to work out with. I guess so. :) Now, hopefully I can just keep going.
We got free tickets to the Rodeo tonight, so we will be going. I am really excited. Jason just looks forward to the Cotton Candy, and walking through the carnival. I really love the rodeo food too though. I will post about the Rodeo tomorrow. Maybe with pictures.

Appointment
We went to the doctor yesterday for the 2nd appointment. We had a sonogram; I am 8 weeks and 2 days. It is absolutely amazing how much it grew already in 3 weeks; it is actually the size of a peanut now. So beautiful. When we saw the baby on the screen, Jason got the biggest smile on his face. Then we went in and talked with the doctor; this was the first time for Jason to meet him. He said everything was perfect.
We will go back at 12 weeks, 15 weeks, and then at 18 weeks, were they will try to determine the sex. So that appointment would be around the last week of April. Yeah!!!
On a side note, the Christoval Girls Basketball Team won in Lampassas Tuesday night. So we are headed to the Regional Tournament in Austin this weekend. And I can't go without saying the Wall Lady Hawks are also headed to Regionals in Midland!!

Update on our lives
Here is what has been happening in our neck of the woods.
- Starting on about Thursday, I have felt a little nausea. So I haven't been enjoying that.
- Saturday Night Jason got some violent bug. His brother, sister, and mom had it, so I guess it was just a matter of time. He was sick all night, and all Sunday.
- Needless to say, I went to church by myself Sunday.
- I had already had a sub coming all day Monday, and 1/2 day Tuesday because I was going to go to Caldwell to scout a basketball game with some of the coaches. Well, Monday morning I wake up and don't feel that great. So I don't go. Thank goodness because it is like a 5 hour trip one way. And I threw up Monday night. So I got the bug as well.
- Today is Wednesday, and I still don't feel great.
- Tomorrow is Valentines Day, we are not doing really anything for each other. We have reservations at Ichiban's; hopefully we will both feel like eating.
- I am going to make him an apple pie.
Hope everybody out there is doing good!! Uggh...is really how I feel right now.

HUNGER
I thought I would feel you in on this major issue I am facing. :)
This hunger feeling you get when pregnant is unreal. I am hungry all the time. I can eat a big meal, and then an hour later be so hungry I feel like I might pass out. It is crazy, and kind of annoying. And it scares me to go back to the doctor and get on the scale. Brianne had said you will feel a totally different type of hungry, and I for sure do. WOW!! Has anyone else had these same feelings when pregnant? Which my mother-in-law says that is a good thing, because the baby is taking everything that it needs from me.
Also, a friend from church got me the "Your pregnancy Week by Week" book. And I am really enjoying it already.

Basketball is Over
Basketball season is over for my JV team. The varsity has made the playoffs, so I will still be going with them everywhere. But I have really enjoyed coaching these girls over the past 4 months. It went by really fast, and we did some really good things this year. I hope the girls enjoyed it as much as me. Our record was 19-7. Here are some top highlights for our season:
1. Won the Sterling City Tournament
2. Beat Sonora by 2 (This was after we played them in a scrimmage and they beat us really bad.)
3. Finished 5-3 in District
4. Tied for 2nd in District
That is about it. This is probably a really boring post to most of you, but thought I would let you know about the season. Enjoy!

Weekend Update
We had a relatively uneventful, but good weekend. On Friday night, I had a basketball game in Eldorado. We won, so that is good. Tomorrow night is the last game of the year for the JV Girls, and then it starts playoff time for the Varsity. I am really excited about that. Saturday morning I got my hair cut, really it is just a trim, and then I went to a baby shower. It was good; I got to see Susan and another friend from high school. Then I basically slept all Saturday afternoon; Jason and I went to town Saturday night, and brought back Chili's to Brianne and Duanes, and we hung out there the rest of the night. Like I said nothing to exciting. Sunday went to church, and then Sunday evening watched the Super Bowl. Jason and Duane were going for the Patriots, and Brianne and I were going for the Giants. So I was a happy camper.
Pregnancy Update: The only real symptoms I guess you can call them is I am extremely tired all the time, and hungry all the time. But I haven't been sick yet, so I am crossing my fingers. I go back on Feb. 20th. Yes, we are going to find out, and I hope they predict correctly. I am predicting it is a boy along with Chelsey. But I really don't mind.
