After School Cuts

I guess I should say "trims" for the girls! Back in January, when they both had lice, I trimmed their hair at home. That was Maggie's first cut, so I saved some of her hair then!

But, they have both been needing a "real" trim to get those dead ends off! So this was Maggie's Official First Hair Cut!

And she hammed it up! Silly girl!!

Sorry about the picture Kylee! This was the only one I got of her! :)

She kept saying she wanted her hair as short as her friend, Emma's! My heart couldn't do it, and I convinced her she still wanted to put it in a pony tail! :) So just a trim for her too!!

Parents' Add-On

This past fall, mom and dad had both bathrooms re-done. They turned out real nice. But, in every woman's head is this bigger, and more grand idea of re-modeling the house. So, it officially started on Saturday.

There going to add on in the front of the house only. It will expand the current kitchen, living room, and dining room. It will also provide space to re-do the current laundry room, and add-on a space for a sewing room, pantry, and Dad a man's closet and bathroom on the end!

The kids got to help with some demolition too!! And no one got hurt!!

Inspecting it at the end of the day!

Stud Muffin

What a little stud? Y'all, it was so funny. "The Voice" was on for a couple minutes the other night. He stopped in front of the TV, and started taping his foot to the band! Ha! It was so cute!

He's pretty much a rock, hard stud muffin. I mean look at those muscles.

He's latest shenanigans consist of "popping his shirt off", and doing push ups! :)

And he's a smartie too doing his sisters work!!

Easter 2015

Easter was great! It's such a good time of year, with spring approaching, and the weather starting to change. My kids love it, and so do we. Nothing better than celebrating our Risen Savior!

I went to Kylee's school party, and the littles went with Jason and the "guys" on their annual Good Friday fishing. Kind of sad Kylee had school, but she didn't seem to mind.

They had a little party in her classroom. She peeled her boiled egg, and we made little treats for her friends that said "Happy Easter honey bunny"!

Easter Morning before church.

Sweet friends. Thankful.

Friends from Church

All the kids hunted eggs inside since it was rainy. Maggie didn't like it at all. I really think she's just 3, and she doesn't like to be told what to do. So she collected a few, and then when she got in the car, and opened one, she exclaimed, "Candy!" So I don't think she new their was a prize inside! :)

Some Easter goodies. I got that little sign from Marshall's, that said, "I love you more than Easter eggs." I thought it was cute.

We celebrated all afternoon with extended family on Jason's mom side, and then at the lake with my Grandmother. Jaxon decided to get in the lake with his street clothes on, but he was fine with it. Silly boy! I think he is ready for summer and swimming!

Sweet Kylee

Kylee's personality is so different than mine, which at times makes it hard for me to understand why she does and doesn't do certain things. I am learning more about her ways, and it makes me laugh and smile. She's not going to show emotions or love around other people or in public places, which is so much like her Daddy. :) But I've learned that's ok, and to really cherish these times at home when she opens up and hugs and tells you how much she loves you. Sweet girl.

Anyways, when she brings home papers like these. My heart just smiles, and swells up really big.

And when she leaves sweet notes for me.

Lastly, she came in the living room the other night, and said, "I can write my name in cursive. Does this look good." Now, she's been writing other things in cursive. :)

Random Catch-Up

Jason went to town one day and bought the kids a basketball goal. It's just a free-standing one right now. After we build our barn, I think he will concrete it in somewhere.

Right now, he's sure enjoying "dunking" it, and playing pig with Kylee.
