Chubby Cheeks Friday

On Friday, we hung out at the library a little bit. After lunch, we took a quick trip to Midland to check out a furniture store. Jason and the kids at Baskin Robbins while I looked around. We were only there about an hour; ate at a burger joint, and then headed back home. The kids did so good in the car! It was a nice quick trip!

Chore Charts

We got a chore chart from MOPS last week; you can write in what chores you want them to do, and it only last for a week.

Kylee is the only one with an actual chart, but the other ones are enjoying it too!

Her chores are:

Make your Bed

Get Dressed

Brush your Teeth

That's all we have on their for now; obviously these are to do in the morning. She pretty much already did them except the make the bed part; hoping this will help it become a habit!

She does other chores throughout the day, but I don't have them listed yet. We are starting small.

Lego Mania

Our kids love Lego's. I don't really remember playing with Lego's growing up, maybe they are more of a toy for boys. But our kids, have grown an interest in them.

Last Christmas we got the 2 BIG green building squares because Jason said they needed some of those to build taller buildings on. Those have been fun. And he is the king of building the tallest lego buildings. Although Kylee beat he one night building this tall guy!

We'll this year at Christmas, I saw on Amazon they had some "Education Lego's"; they have these tubes and slides, cups, and balls to go down the tubes. Anyways, I thought they looked cool, and boy are they!

Kylee dropped her ball in; you can see the red lines on the last cup. That's her ball going through!

They really are pretty cool, and they've been playing with them nearly every night!

Kylee's Science Experiment

Our library group got together for a science experiment, with a "real" science teacher! :)

Kylee kept asking me what "science" was! She had a good time with some future classmates!

They made a water and oil and food coloring bottle thing, and put a frog in it! And they made pink silly putty!

And then my favorite, they made ICE CREAM! Which of course, is right up Kylee's alley!

Where's Maggie?

Sweet Maggie has been sleeping with her babies lately! And a giraffe! And her two baby blankets!

And she's been taking her diaper off ALL THE TIME, so we've been dealing with that! :)

And baby Maggie is going to a full size bed pretty soon when we make the move! I don't really know how she will do with being able to get out; she won't be 2 til March! Yikes!

Christmas 2013

Christmas Eve we celebrated with Jason's family; we had an awesome lunch of lobster tails, fried shrimp, and grilled salmon, and great sides!! YUM!

Maggie got a princess crown and a sword, and a football! Jason and his brother got a plasma cutter, whatever that is! I got a new rolling pin and a new blender! Kylee got Barbie stuff, and Jaxon got Bob the Builder toys and some other things!

Have I mentioned I have the best brother-in-law ever? He's single and likes to spoil me! He got a Apple Desktop computer! It's pretty much awesome, although I'm scared to touch it! :)
