How to Eat a S'more According to....

Jaxon.

You start by trying to take the biggest bite possible, not caring what gets on you, but you then discover it is to big to fit in your mouth, so

you proceed to take it apart,

dig around in it with your finger,

and along the way, shove your finger into your mouth hoping there is lots of ooey-gooey marshmallow and chocolate on it.

Or According to Kylee.

You calmly take a bite, not wanting any chocolate to get on your face, or your clothes,

if some of the ooey-gooey goodness, gets on your hands, you do not wipe them down the sides of your clothes, but

you neatly try to lick it off, not wanting to waste any of the goodness,

and you finish with more in your belly than on your clothes, and table!!

A Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

We went to a local pumpkin patch, in Grape Creek, today with our Preschool Group from the Library.

We had a great time, and the weather was incredible!!

They had so many pumpkins of all sizes, and a lot of things to climb on!! So fun!!

We just walked around, and the kids enjoyed getting to go wherever they wanted.  Maggie slept in the stroller for a little bit.

When we left, I asked them what their favorite thing about the Pumpkin Patch was, and they both said the dump truck, lawn mower thing. :)

A photo of all 3 is SO HARD!! I am thinking it is going to be like 7 years before they all look good in a picture.

We had to take pictures next to all the characters!!

Jaxon thought that Cinderall's blue dress was a shark at the bottom; that is what he is pointing to. It kind of does look like a shark!!

We ate a sandwich, and then got to pick out a pumpkin to carve.

Weekend Pictures

This Friday was Wall's Homecoming Football Game.

We met up at the Pep Rally with our friend, Emma!!

She gave Kylee a pair of the cutest socks ever!! And I didn't even take a picture of them, but they are the same one's that Emma is wearing here.  They have "HAWKS" monogrammed on them!! I'm thinking I need to get Maggie a pair!!

Watching the cheerleaders at the pep rally!!

Addi, Kylee, and their Mums

After the pep rally, we went to Emma's house to do our fingernails, but they wouldn't stay on.  But Kylee enjoyed the green cupcakes, and playing with Emma more than anything.

Headed to the football game!! Maggie wearing her first pair of tenny shoes.

Friends for a lifetime!! Love Karter hanging in the tree. Such a boy thing.

Sharing some Cheetos!! Yummy!!

Sweet Emma!!

A Farm Boy Boo-Boo

Jaxon got a bad boo-boo, yesterday, while playing at my parents house.

It's not near as bad as it looks. When I first saw it, it was bright red, I thought there was blood everywhere, but it really is just a good, long scrape!!

He seems to get hurt a lot!! I pray He stays safe all these growing up years. My dad always tells me, that he was hurt so many times before he even went to Kindergarten.  He had stitches in his head twice!! :)

Famous Cows

A lot of people around, have been talking about how ESPN came to San Angelo, and videoed Central, Veribest, and the Los Lonely Boys.

But, we were watching Monday Night to see if my Dad's cows made the video.

Sure enough they DID!! You can watch, and at the 12 second mark. Pause it, and you will see a cowboy riding behind some cows.  That is not my dad, but those are his cows.

Go to this link to watch it, or watch below.

Last Wednesday, he had taken many of his cattle to get pregnancy tested at Producers, and all the ESPN cameras were there.  He kept telling us all week, that his cattle were going to be on the MNF Pregame!!

Way to go Dad!!

The Boys Built a Big Barn

The guys decided in between maze harvesting and cotton harvesting that they should build a big barn for the strippers, tractors, and sprayer to fit under. It's really not a barn because it will not have sides, but I don't know what to call it, or maybe there are several things to call it, and I just don't know which one to use, shed, overhang or barn. :)

So, that is what they did.

Amazes me.

First, they dug 14 holes that were 4 feet deep in pretty much rocky ground.  It was hard work, but in a few days they were done.

Then, they put the arch on the top by welding the metal together. (I'm sure this is not the correct order of events, but you get the picture.)

And, it is tall enough for the strippers to fit under that's a good sign you didn't measure wrong anywhere.  Not like they ever do, just sayin.

The last step was to put the tin roof on.

They actually were a lot safer than they looked up there. Although at times, I was worried for Jason, but they just moved the strippers along and used them as a way to get up and down, and then they made a safety landing out of some wood attached to the old cotton trailer.

The whole thing is done, and has been for a while. Now, I think they might build something next to it.

Great Time!!

We had a great time at the Women of Joy Conference in San Antonio!!

Heard Karen Kingsbury, Anita Renfroe, Max Lucado, and Pam Tebow!! Pam Tebow was my favorite, and so convicting!!

And the amazing Charles Billingsley singing all weekend.  He leads music at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, VA.  He is GREAT!!!

But, I cannot get my pictures off my phone, so I am a little upset!! :)
