Several House Pics
This actually the first week we have lived at the house without some sort of workers being around, so that's nice! :) I guess they officially finished all the work last Saturday. They are going to come today or tomorrow to check the toilets because they are loose. Still can not believe we haven't closed yet. Maybe before May! We broke ground in the middle of May last year, so it's been just shy of a year.
But, worth the wait! I still can't believe this is our house, our forever house! Here are a few pictures! I don't have everything "exactly" how I want it obviously; we've only been really moved into the whole house for 2 weeks. So, pictures aren't hung everywhere, furniture still needs to be re-positioned, and I definitely don't have the cleaning or laundry routine down yet! So here goes!
Dining Room
Kitchen
Breakfast Nook
Favorite "extra"
Mantle; seems hard to decorate?
Living Looking into the Front Entry; more to do with the front buffet
I knew I wanted neutral walls, and then add my color in through decorating pieces; this could be my favorite view!
Playroom; I am glad I went with the neutral stripes!
Laundry Room; probably the most used room in the house, seriously.
Favorite wall art so far; coming in from the garage.
Kylee; all the kids room still seem to need more attention; Kylee is getting some curtains that I am helping Mom make; Maggie and Jaxon rooms need some wall art.
Girls Bathroom
Jaxon's Bath; been used once since we've been here; we just always go to the girls or to ours; have to remember we are here for the long run, it will one day be used everyday; hopefully he will take baths. :)
Master Bedroom
Master Bath; my favorite room in the house!
Back Porch; Jason's favorite place!
COME VISIT ME!!
Kids
We've been out and about the past few weeks, put that on top off moving in and unpacking and trying to get some normalcy with all this you can say we've been busy!
Maggie hanging out at the library a few weeks ago! She loves the new toy they have, which is good because all she used to is pull books off the shelves or punch buttons on the computer keyboards! Kylee only has 2 more classes with the preschool class we've been doing there. We've been going to it twice a month for over 2 years.
But, with age, comes change, and we will be in for a big change this fall. Jason and I took her to Kindergarten round-up at the end of March. Looking forward to this new chapter.
We attended a party at the bowling alley for a friend from church. It was really pretty cool!!
And you can't go through the whole spring without eating an ice pop at a baseball game! YUM!

Easter 2014
Easter was great! We managed to stretch "Easter" out all last week! We hunted eggs at the park with some friends on Tuesday; we listened to the Easter story and had a great time playing!! Jaxon scares all the other moms because he climbs like a monkey and hangs around with one arm.
No time to stop and take a picture!
On Saturday, we attended an Easter Picnic at our church. Jaxon was hopping like a bunny from egg to egg! Silly boy! We ate our share in snow-cones, jumped on the bounce houses, and enjoyed some friends!!
So blessed to spend Sunday at church, and with family.
Jaxon and his "Accident"
Jaxon fell on a "sweep" that you use on the plow yesterday, and gave himself a pretty bloody cut right between his eyes. It bled pretty good, and we debated on whether or not to go in, but decided against it. So, we have been using some strips to keep it together and clear tape on top of that. Hoping we don't have a scar.

Update
Hello!! Gosh, I re-read my last post, and it sounded so down! Didn't mean to be so pessimistic!!
The news hasn't changed much. Jason moved the big load of boxes to our garage, since they finished in there, and I have been unpacking a few boxes at a time into some of the rooms that are completely finished, like the Master Closet, Craft Room, and Playroom. There is still some painting touch ups to be done inside, and all the painting of the trim outside, and that's it.
Jason and his dad and brother have been working really hard on the "yard" part of it. The decided to move the dirt and do all that by themselves, since they own thousands of acres of dirt. Only makes sense. It's just a lot more work when you don't own all the necessary equipment to do that. Anyways, I think the house looks a lot prettier with the dirt around it instead of the gravel!!
The kids and I have just been hanging out, picking up rocks in the yard, going to the park, going to AWANA's, doing laundry at my parents, going to the Library, going to birthday parties, eating at Jason's parents, and really just enjoying this season!
Hoping pretty soon I'll be giving you a full house TOUR!! So excited!!
