We had a great Thanksgiving.
I love turkey and dressing, and my mom's sweet potatoes, and chocolate merginue pie, and homemade sweet tea, and a lot of other things. I just have food on my mind ALL the time these days. :)
On Wednesday, Mom had the grand idea of taking all 5 grandchildren to Sears to get a picture of them in their Christmas outfits. Nothing against Sears, and nothing against the people that work there, I just don't like it. I won't bore you with what all took place, but we did it, and by the time we left, the kids were nearly eating their arm off because they were all so hungry.
We ate Thanksgiving supper at mom and dad's that night.
Thanksgiving Day, we went to Jason's parents. We looked through all the ads and had a great lunch. Jasons' sister, Haley, brought her roommate home with her over the break, so they pretty much spoiled my kids the whole week they were here by taking them out to eat, letting Kylee play on there IPAD's, and giving lots of rides in the Gator, Golf Cart, and anything else that Kylee demanded. She would wake up a say, "I want to go play on the IPad." Crazy!!
Thanksgiving Night we went to my Grandmother's house, and had a great time visiting with cousins, and laughing so hard over the old photo albums somebody drug out. It was funny.
In meantime, mom and I made our BLACK FRIDAY plan, and decided we would just go around Midnight, and be late, but still go out, and try to get some things.
We'll at 9:30 she texted me, saying she couldn't sleep so we might as well go to Walmart, and check it out. So, we hop in the car, and head to Walmart.
We went to Walmart, split up and I stood in line at Best Buy, and mom stood in line at Target. Ended up getting the both big things we wanted from those stores. Hit up Whataburger at 2am, and then slept in the mall parking lot waiting for JC Penney to open at 4. Stayed at the mall until about 7, and then came home and crawled in bed. :)
We stayed up all night; how dumb is that!! Anyways, it was fun, and I'll probably be ready to go again next year.
Mom's family came in from Sweetwater, and we celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday.
Everything was fun, but always goes way to fast.
Pics to come.
