Panic Mode

You may now enter into, panic mode.

WHY am I entering into panic mode?

Because, I am doing like a million things at once this week.

Trying to get pictures ordered so, they will be here before Jaxon's first birthday next weekend.

Print invitations for Jaxon's first birthday NEXT weekend.

Had the stomach bug last week, actually we ALL did; I thought I was going to die. Brought back alot of the same memories I had nearly a year ago when I was in the middle of giving birth, but I'll do a more detailed post on that next week. :)

Still recovering from that. Not the giving birth part, the stomach bug part.

There ia a Capital and Lowercase Alphabet set spread out over E.V.E.R.Y. room of our house as I type. My house is a wreck.

Have to do several things for Awana before the end of July, which is on Sunday; we are leaving town on Friday, so that means by tomorrow that has to be done.

My car keeps flashing "Change Engine Oil Soon."

Enough Said,

PANIC MODE HAS SET IN.

If you can't grow cotton..

grow Pumpkins.

Jason's cousin has a well in Veribest, and they are hauling water in that tank behind Jason to water the pumpkins. They have only done it twice.

Before they planted the pumpkins, they put out 1600 hundred gallons of water on this little space. That is equivalent to like 11 inches of rain on this space. I asked that question.

But the plants are up and growing really fast. In fact, Jason is a little worried we planted them to early.

Why are we planting so many pumpkins?

Last year we had a pumpkin carving contest at church, and this year we thought we would try to grow the pumpkins so we wouldn't have to purchase them.

I have to say, it's all looking really good right now.

Jason said if the deer find them, it's over.

But, it is pretty to look at something green amidst all this dry land.

apple doesn't fall far from the tree

The Apple sure didn't fall far from the tree on these 2 kids.

Do you think they look alike?

In my eyes and in this picture especially, they could be twins. Never noticed, mainly because Jaxon is never still long enough, but they have the same hair line, same nose, same eyebrows, same color of eyes and hair, same expression on their face.

This makes me smile too!!

Things that make me Smile

- I used a whole bottle of Pledge dusting spray over the past week while cleaning the house. Ceiling Fans and base boards cleaned!! Nice.

- Kylee got rid of her pacifiers at night. Yes, I know she is over 2 1/2 and still used them at night. I wasn't worried about it, but she gave them to Jaxon. That was nice.

- Kylee and Jaxon had their pictures taken tonight. We went to Sunken Gardens, and Fort Concho. I think they are going to turn out great.

- We had a blast at the T Bar M in New Braunfels this past weekend. We swam in 3 different pools, played tennis and poker, played water volleyball, practicied our putting skills on the putting greens, climbed a rock wall, ate lots of good food, and of course we had a blast hanging and laughing so hard at our family!! Fun times!!

- Bunco with fun girls

- Birthday parties

- My camera is ruined I think. Funny thing is I have been wanting a new camera since January. I don't know what happened to it, but every picture I take is fuzzy.

- School supplies are out in the stores. That makes me smile BIG.

Locks of Love

Look at these, locks. I love them.

My sweet baby boy turned 11 months old today, and he got his first haircut. He had (still does) the most beautiful flowing locks. It hung over his ears nearly an inch. When he woke up from his naps, it would be kind of sweaty and matted on one side. He has even been called "Elvis" because of his beautiful locks.

But, we are having pictures made on Monday, so I figured for that, and for his first birthday I wanted him to look, well like the most handsome boy in the world.

What do you think?

I think he looks like the most handsome boy in the world.

Jaxon loves to eat. He always wants to be snacking. He loves most fruits, and still forces himself to swallow vegetables. He loves the yogurts, and is starting to eat a lot of table food.

We have cut out the lunch feeding, so now he nurses 3 times a day. He has taken the cows milk bottle pretty good.

Walking everywhere. Even takes off so fast sometimes it looks like he is running. Crazy boy.

Takes 2 naps a day. Wears size 3 diapers, and shoes. Has 7 teeth.

Has become so vocal, and is quite demanding now. He just points and yells so loud.

The boy in him is definitely coming out. He has become destructive. Period. Destructive. He basically walks up to any and everything, and swings, and flings, his arms as fast as he can back and forth to purposely knock over whatever it might be, and then loves hearing the big NOISE that the destruction makes. I feel like I am constantly saying, "Soft" "Easy".

All this to say I survived his first haircut. I really didn't have time to cry; it just happened so fast.

I love this little handsome boy SSSSSOOOOOO much, with his newly trimmed locks and all.

Purple Walls and Other Updates

If I ever wanted to paint my walls purple, this is what it would look like.

But, I don't think I do, so it's good thing this is just the sheet rock. They have the window in, the tub in, the sheet rock in, and the walls floated. Now, they just need to put the fiberglass walls up. Don't think it's going to happen to soon though because the insurance adjusters came and failed out the cotton crops, or lack of cotton crop, so now they are busy plowing up the cotton.

Jaxon will turn 11 months old tomorrow. Can you believe it? I can't believe it.

And I don't know if I am going to make it through tomorrow. WHY you ask??

He is getting his FIRST hair cut. Wish me luck. :(

No updates on the J-Man Productian. Don't know why I have this picture.

We are getting our bags all packed to go on our first ever Ruffin Reunion this weekend!! I think we should have gotten shirts made. Is it to late anybody???

My parents took a small vacation to Rudiosa last week. Jaxon got a little onesie on it with a racoon or soemthing, and Kylee got this pencil and notepad. She loves it.

Also, I have been giving her this special milk. Ever since she started drinking cows milk, she hasn't really liked it. I was consistently making her drink a sippy cup a day when she was younger. Since she has turned 2 she doesn't like it even more, and it was hard to deal with. So a friend of mine was giving her daughter a 1/3 of a Pediasure bottle mixing the rest of the sippy cup with cow's milk, and it seems to be working for Kylee. She loves her "special" milk. And I am happy she is drinking milk.

Also, had lunch today with 4 of my highschool friends and their babies. It was alot of fun to catch up.

Later Alligator!!
