I used to watch "A Baby Story" when I was in college at my parents house. We don't get that channel now, but I can pretty much gurantee the story I'm about to tell you, beats any story on there. In my opinion, of course. :)
My cousin delivered his wife's baby in the bathroom floor of their house yesterday!!!
Yep!!
This is my Mom's side of the family, and my cousin who delivered his baby yesterday is the one with the arrow pointing at him. Obviously!!
Here he is again, with his wife, who HAD the baby at their house yesterday morning.
You'll agree with me that he is a BIG guy. And you can't tell from the picture, I'm sure, but she is one tough "Mama".

The story as follows (and may be detailed):
She was up all night feeling pains, but didn't want to go in, and be sent home. Well, at around 6AM, she woke Gregg up, and said, "We are going to have this baby, and I mean now." He called their next door neighbor to come and get their 2 year old son, so they could go on to the hospital.
Adrienne felt like she was going to be sick, so she went to the bathroom to throw up, and then she decided no I think I need to go the bathroom. And he yelled, "Dont go to the bathroom. " And, she reached down and felt the HEAD with her OWN hand. So, he yelled at her to "lay down", and she yelled at him to "Call 911".
Now, you can imagine, with everyone yelling at each other, that it woke their 2 year old up. So he starts screaming and crying, for the mere fact he doesn't have a clue what is going on.
He gets on the phone with 911, and they ask him, "Can you see the head?", he says "NO", so they tell him to tell her to do "kagels". He doesn't have a clue what that is, so he jokingly tells her to do some "push-ups"..... :) And then he says, "OH*****, there's the head!!" And he chunks the phone, and with his bare hands, no time to get a towel, he delievers his baby, another boy. They didn't know what it was going to be!!
About that time, he hears a knock at the door; it is there neighbor to come and get their son, so he lays the baby on her belly, and runs to open the door, but he can't because his hands are so slippery, with you know, what on them. So, he is screaming, "I can't open the door!!" He finally gets it open.
He gets back on the phone to learn how to cute the umbilical cord, and she says to find some shoelaces, and he is about to cut it, and another knock at the door, and it is the EMT. They cut the cord, and rush the baby in one ambulance to the hospital, and then get Adrienne into another ambulance to the hospital.
As they are leaving, he looks at the EMT, and asks, "Who's supposed to clean this up?"!!
The screaming, hollering, and action started around 6AM, and she delivered him at 6:23AM!!
And to say that my cousins' head is as big as a door for delivering his own baby at home, well that would be an understatement.
Mama and baby are both doing great. We made a quick trip to see them last night.
