BUSY, BUSY, BUSY

I have to apologize again. I must confess I am a horrible blogger. I love checking all of y'alls blogs. I just have a hard time posting on mine. Anyways, it is definitely a busy time of the year right now. I am trying to plan our schools FIELD DAY, and get kids ready to compete at Little Olympics. This takes a lot of time, and right now I am missing at least 2 days of school a week for track meets, workshops, and doctor appointments. So I am cramming every minute I am at school to get all of this done.

Anyone, out there involved in the school system have good ideas for Field Day's. I pretty much have ours planned; it is just finalizing everything, but I am up for any ideas to improve it.

Here are a few pictures Jason took of me the other night. I am definetly showing when I wear t-shirt and shorts. And I am starting to wear maternity clothes all the time now. I don't know if I need to, but I can't fit into regular clothes, so bring on the maternity clothes. :) I am 17 weeks and go to the doctor Monday. Hopefully he will schedule us to come at 20 weeks to find out what it is!!! Yeah!! It is getting close to telling, and that makes me super excited and nervous all at the same time. Everything is going great so far. We know we are truly being blessed.

Give me a Bed

I literally just laid my head down on my desk during my conference, and fell asleep for 10 minutes. You ask what the reason for my sleepiness is. Starting on Tuesday, I have had all the phases of a cold. Started as a sore throat, coughing at night, runny nose, now it has progessed to a stuffy nose that won't blow. Anyways, I didn't get home until midnight Wednesday night from the track meet, and as tired as I was I couldn't sleep because I was coughing so much. So I got like 4 hours of sleep. Last night, I went to bed at 10 and couldn't sleep because I couldn't breath my nose is so stopped up. So I went to the couch at 12 because I was annoying Jason, and got a few hours of sleep there. I am the kind of person who needs at least 8 hours of sleep a night. So I can not wait til I can go home and get in bed!!!

Pictures of Addi and Karter at Easter

As you know, Karter was in the hospital for Easter, so this last Sunday Addi wore her Easter dress again, and they had a few Easter pictures taken as a family. Addi is in the phase of you ask to take a picture, and I'll run and scream and definitely not smile so be glad she's in them!:) And on the other hand, as you can see, Karter is as happy as he can be!!!

Much Needed Posting

Spring Break is over, and sadly to say it is time to get back to reality. Spring Break was great, but of course went way to fast!!! Here is a little update from our spring break:

*Jason and I went to San Antonio for two nights. It was fun, but also fast and furious. Didn't get a lot of shopping accomplished. I did go to Destination maternity and got some cute things there. The major thing accomplished while there was getting a new car. So we are enjoying it right now. It is a white Tahoe. Oh, and how could I forget who we saw. Yes, a famous person. Tony Parker, he plays for the San Antiono Spurs. We saw him eating at Rudy's, bar-b-que. It was really awesome. And no, my brain shut off, and I didn't even take a picture of him.
*My nephew, Karter, had to be put in the hospital because he had pneumonia. This was on Friday, and he just got out yesterday (Monday). So Easter for them was stuck in the hospital. Not the most thrilling. But the main thing is he is out and at home. Thank you Jesus!!
*Easter was wet and rainy, which a farmer LLLLLOOOOOOVVVVEEEESSSSSS. So I must not complain, but it would have been nice for a bright and sunny Easter. But that was not the worst thing. I was getting ready Easter morning, and had bought a new skirt, well when I put it on at home, the pregnant belly sure looks really big and poking out in the middle. So I frantically rush to the "Maternity Bag" from some friends. So Easter morning I wore my first piece of Maternity clothing. It was kind of sad and happy at the same time, but I guess from now on, I will have to start wearing more of it.

That is about it for now. I know I need to post a picture of the hair, but there is a lack of motivation there.

Hair Cut Time

So I am scheduled to get my haircut tonight. And I really don't know what I want, I just know I want it cut off. Not real short, but above the shoulders, but still must be able to go into a ponytail. Here are a few pictures that I sort of like.

I do like this one as well, but I wouldn't wear it in front of my eye like that. I think a few layers at the end is cute.

SPRING BREAK!!! Only 5 DAYS AWAY!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Sweetest Picture

I may have received the sweetest picture today from one of my 1st grade boys. I will try and scan it, and put it on here. He drew me laying on a hospital bed with a cradle looking thing next to it, and me holding a little red circle (Baby) that is screaming "mom". Even through all of this, I said "What did you draw?". And he said that is going to be you when you have your baby. And he said my little brother (who I have never met) also drew you a picture. His picture is the front of the hospital building. It is so sweet and precious. I am thinking about putting it in the baby book. I just love the hearts of these little ones. So sweet!!
