Cricut Projects

Jason got me a cricut explore for Christmas. I didn't really mess with it to much until February, and I'm loving it! I have enjoyed messing around with different fonts, and clipart.

Some projects!!

Painted Rocks

A few weeks ago we painted rocks to use as some garden markers in the garden. They had a good time!

And Kylee found this rock outside, and thought it was shaped like Texas! I love how it turned out; we put it in the front flower bed!

And I think everything in the garden is officially planted, except the pumpkins. Can't wait!!

Hadlee - 4 Months

Hadlee turned 4 Months old!!

She is an easy going baby (for the most part)!!

at 4 months:

weighs: 14lbs. 9oz.

25 inches long

Our biggest baby by far!! We are thrilled, and think she's pretty perfect!!

- rolls over to her tummy from back immediately when you lay her down, but she doesn't quite know how to roll back over

- everything goes to her mouth, and the kids discovered she likes paper! Eeek!

- she loves the little "taggie" toys

-loves bath time and can finally sit up pretty good in the bath seat

-started cereal. loved it.

-tried peas, carrots, and squash. loved it.

-tried apples. loved it.

-she likes to eat! :)

-still nurses great 6 times a day. only waking up once a night (most nights) to eat.

-sleeps unsaddled and without a paci. I'm telling you the easiest baby ever!

-fights her nap times during the day.

-tolerates the swing sometimes.

-hates being in the car seat if she is awake.

-but, loves napping in the car seat.

-still has lots of dark hair.

-loves watching the big kids play while she sits in the bouncer.

-usually sits in the bumbo while I make supper in the evenings.

-wearing size 3-6 months or bigger at times

-smiles a lot, and loves being held!

New Truck!

The guys brought back this beauty from a farm sale one day a few weeks ago, and we named it Baby Blue or The Big Rig! We can't decide!

Interesting Facts about this truck:

1. A Holik Bought it.

2. It's a Ford.

State Tournament 2016

We went to San Antonio at the beginning of March to cheer for our favorite team at the State Tourney!! It was so nice having Jason drive us, and the kids did great! Hadlee was awake a lot more this time, but only fussed once going and once coming back! Not to bad!

Car Selfie!

The cousins!! I panicked the night before so I made Hadlee a onesie that said "hawks"!

Love these squirts!!

Can not believe that they ended up winning the whole thing!! So proud!!

These Days!

January and February are my least favorite months of the year. After the holidays and then temperatures being colder, the months seem to drag on.

Thank goodness for fun things that occupy the kids these days!!

Kylee made a cheerleader at Potato Night at Awanas!

And she ate a donut on a string!

Hadlee has been sitting in the big stroller a few times in town! She can do a pretty serious frown at times! Those eyebrows!

She took a nap in her bed. And the biggest news, she has moved to her bed the past 4 nights!! Sad and happy feelings. She did not so good the first 2 nights, and then she has done great the last 2 nights! No she doesn't sleep with all that in her bed, or that blanket! :)

Family coloring contest!

We ate lunch at Rosa's for Mamaw's birthday.

Hadlee loves wearing her monogrammed onesie!!

We watched the cousins play basketball! And now were on to baseball! And Karter's team got 2nd place this weekend, and he got a championship ring! He's a base stealing dude!

Kylee has started machine pitch baseball too! She's the only girl on her team, and the first day of practice, she showed up with a black eye that she got from messing around with her Daddy! :) She is loving it! And has improved so much already in 3 practices!

Jaxon started tee ball practice on the same days. He did not enjoy it the first day. He cried hysterically. Poor guy. It was a bad parenting moment, when I realized he's never done anything before, and when need me to help him a little bit out there. :/ (minus nursery, bible study, and mops)

Jason made him write me a sorry note. :) The second week, he walked out there by himself!

Awana Sunday

A few weeks ago in January, we had AWANA Sunday at our church. The kids got to wear their vests to church, and say some verses, and do a few songs!

Maggie and Jaxon with their Cubbies class.

That afternoon, the weather was gorgeous!! We really enjoyed the day outside!
