Friends you enjoy life with.
Friends who love you despite your mess ups or your kids mess ups.

These are the friends we are so blessed to have.

We got together after VBS, and did a little swimming, and slumber partying!!

These are great days of summer!!

VBS

We had a blast at our 3-day VBS at church last weekend! And the best part Maggie got to attend and be in a class!! She was SO excited!! I saw her in the hallway the first night, in her line with the "bubble" in her mouth, and she told me "I'm being really good!" and then put the bubble back in her mouth! Ha!  Sweet girl growing up!!

Fun at Crafts!! This guy can bust some dance moves too!

Maggie was coloring her boomerang, and she said "My mom and dad are going to LOVE this!"

Fun at Games!!

Sweet friends from school Sunday Morning!!

Bounce Houses!

Bounce Houses are fun, but they are AWESOME with friends!!

We took Kylee and her friends a couple weeks ago!

They had a blast! Except for the part where Maggie didn't want to wear her socks anymore! :)

Sweet girls! Can't believe they will start 1st grade soon!!

Then we hit up Chick-fil-a, and then went back to our house to play and swim!  It was a fun day!

So blessed to have good friends and good mom friends!

SA Trip

After we got back from DC, we took a trip to San Antonio with Uncle Josh and Aunt Melissa! We stayed a couple nights, and went to the zoo and the kids museum!! And of course, did tons of swimming at the hotel pool!!

Picture Overload!!

Our first stop was the Kids Museum.

There favorite part was the "Mini" Town with the "Mini" HEB with grocery carts, and "real" food, and a real check-out! They had a blast in this area!!

Might have a future as a butcher! ;)

Fighting over the "real" CAT machine! It really did raise and lower!

The BANK

3D Floor Puzzle of the USA! When we all finished, we yelled "TX is the Best!" :)

Outdoor Slides and Ropes Course

Our first night we ate at Pappadeaux's. It was super good!!

The next morning we went to the Zoo!! It was HOT, but Jason kept saying, "It's really not that hot." Oh, maybe I'm pregnant! Ha!

Feeding the pretty nasty fish

We ended with the kids' favorite part! The train ride!! It was nice to let the wind blow through my hair! :)

We ate lunch in Market Square at Mi Terra's. It wasn't as good as we remembered 3 years ago, but maybe nothing is as good the second time.

I didn't even ask for a silly picture! :)

That night we ate at Rain Forest Cafe on the Riverwalk. The best part was the kids ballons!! This lady was awesome!

We walked through the shops at La Cantera the next day, and hit up GAP for some cute maternity clothes!

Enjoyed lunch at the yummy Cheesecake Factory!

Sharing a Snickers Cheesecake! It was good!! But, I have to say the Plain was still the best!!

Tuckered out!

DC Day Three

Day 3 and rocking' it for 4th of July!!

There was this cute old fire station across from our hotel.

Our hotel had these nice escalators!

Kylee rode them any chance she could get to do it over and over again!!

These guys were standing outside our hotel on the 4th! Loved the guy in the suit! :)

This was our last day in DC and we decided to hit up the Natural History Museum  and the Air and Space Museum.

Natural History Museum was good for kids, with lots of things for them to see. It was also full of a bunch of evolution; luckily Kylee can't read all that and didn't care too.

The Hope Diamond! 45 Carats!

Aunt Hay Hay paid for Kylee to go into the Butterfly room, and Melissa and I tagged along. It was actually really cool!!

Butterflies of every color!

Right outside the museum was the parade coming down Constititution Ave!

And we walked outside just in time to see this really big "chicken" as Kylee exclaimed, and these oriental ladies next to us laughed, and started talking about her! Ha!

Then we trekked across to the Air and Space Musuem and had to wait in a really long line outside to get in.

But, Kylee passed the time by looking cool! When did she get so grown up??

The Air and Space Museum was neat. We went inside a cock-pit of a jet airplane, and Kylee went inside a 'real' rocket!

There is a lot of informative things that might be good for older elementary aged kids. Just a little to much information for her to retain it all!

We hiked back across town to eat lunch, and we came upon this! Mexican!!

Kylee got the biggest Root Beer Float ever!!

Sweet Aunt Melissa! Great roommate and traveling buddy for us! Maybe we can do it again in a few years!! ;)

We went back to the hotels and rested up for the fireworks that night.

With Melissa and I both pregnant, I thought it was funny we sat on the lawn in front of the Department of Labor building! And always keeping it real classy with our trash bags to sit on!

America's Sweet Heart with the Washington Monument behind her!

The fireworks were what you would guess as AMAZING!! Just so big and non-stop!

Our flight leaving DC was super early; we had to get up at 4:45!! Poor Kylee was exhausted, but she slept the whole first flight back to DFW!

DC was amazing! We couldn't get everything we wanted to do in the few days we were there, just because there is so much to do! But, I hope I can remember the things I saw! Lol! Kylee was a trooper! She is really great with flying, walking miles, waiting, eating wherever, being away from home! You name she did really great!

So great Mimi bought her a cool tie-dye tshirt!!
