Harvesting the Home Place

Nothing beats harvesting the land you grew up on working as a family operation! There's lots of equipment out there, and a routine, that is probably best if I just stay out of the way! :)

The guys are working right here by our house, so the kids jumped out of the car to ride with Jason last night as soon as we got home from church! But, Kylee said, "I can only go ONE round because I have to do my homework!"

Turkey Time

I found this pine cone turkey idea from a magazine!! Gasp!! :) Most of my crafts come from pinterest these days!

We did these Friday afternoon when Kylee got home from school. They punched lots of different size circles from my punches, and did some glueing! Then we hot glued everything on!

Love homemade table decorations!!

Turkey Who? This is Lexi's turkey from school. She had to disguise it! Ha! I think it turned out so cute!!

Birthdays

Thursday was Dad's birthday! And Sunday was Brianne's birthday!

We celebrated Friday Night with Steak and Shrimp, Baked Potatoes, Salad, and a 3-layer Chocolate Cake!

And Today is our sweet friend Emma's birthday!! We celebrated Frozen style on Saturday!! The desserts were delicious, and the decorations were so cute!! Kylee loved all the Frozen stuff; Jaxon asked her, "Why didn't you have a Frozen Party?" Ha!!

Kylee and Emma!

Out-And-About

Since it rained last week, Jaxon got to finally stay with Jason one day instead of going with me to town. So it was me and Mags!! Thank goodness she's cute because she sure wears me out! :)

McDonalds Playground with friends, and Ronald!!

Last Weekend

Addi can show animals now that she is in the 3rd grade. So there was 2 practice shows this past Saturday! She did good with it being her first time EVER. Sweet thing just smiles at everybody!! She learned a lot, and I think Paw-Paw is enjoying it too!!

We also went to the Brethren Festival. It's always fun to catch up with the kin folk, and BIL Josh also bought me a shirt! So that was nice!! :) And the kids came home with some prizes that they won at the games!!

After Maggie was done playing any of the games, she would just go pick out any prize that she wanted without listening to the people telling her she had to just get a piece of candy. Ha! She has her own way of doing things!

Maggie, My Mess Maker

Who Me?

Yes, you.

Sweet Kids

It was Red, White, & Blue Night at AWANA's last Wednesday in honor of Veterans Day. Our pastor stands at the front of the line and the kids have to say a verse they know before they can go on. Well, Maggie didn't really know Genesis 1:1, but she was thinking really hard, so Jaxon finished it for her. It was so sweet!

And yesterday on the way to church, I heard Kylee in the back, saying in very broken words, "Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers......."
And she kept going through the 1 and 2 books!! She said they have been learning them in Sunday School. I didn't even know it.

These are my greatest joys as a mom.
