Baby Dedications

1 Child
Clueless about parenting, but happy.

2 Children
A trying toddler and a baby, but still happy.

3 Children Later
Both Sleep Deprived, but you guessed it, so happy.

C is for Cubbies

Kylee and I have been doing a little school.  When I say little, I mean little.  Like 10 minutes at a time and only 3 days a week.

She really wants to do school, and asks me right when she wakes up to do it, and then when we start doing it, and I tell her to write the letter, and she screams she doesn't want to. I think it is more of an attitude she has developed.  Not good.  She screams ugly noises when she doesn't want to do something.  Very frustrating.

Anyways, she has enjoyed the little crafts.

She also started her 2nd year of Cubbies.

She got to hold the flag with her friends on AWANA night.

Driving Cars

Kylee can read the Dr. Seuss "Go, Dog. Go!" book from memory, and loves to read it to anybody who wants to listen.

Made me think of it when they all were riding around in their cars the other day.

Even Maggie got to drive a car!!

Sometimes we crash. On purpose. For the Camera.

Sometimes we trade cars, and drive each other's cars.

Sometimes I wonder how he can make this face.

Sometimes we drive cars like this.

Happenings in the Holik House

It's rarely a dull moment around here. Usually we are off to go somewhere; it may be nothing exciting, but the kids enjoy going.

Sometimes I get so busy, I have these loose photos out there, that need to make it to the blog, so here they are.

Made a poster for our MOPS group this year

Maggie grew up right before our eyes.

Maggie took her picture with a mirror.

Jaxon turned 2, and blew out candles on his cinnamon roll.

The guys are still working on the big barn.

We drank our first glasses of tea with my new tea maker that Kylee picked out for me for my birthday.

We ALL took a ride with Jason in the sprayer.  My first time to be on it.

Very high tech for some farm boys. It drives itself.

We did letter B. Kylee does and doesn't like school; I feel she is very normal. :)

Maggie looked so cute in her green and white dress for church.  She is crawling everywhere, eating everything, and pulling up on stuff.

Jaxon threw some trash in her carseat the other day while we were driving down the road.  All I hear is choking.  I had to pull the car over, and do the finger sweep.

She's wild too.

Please tell me when my daughter got so TALL.  Her legs grew this summer.

Dad and I have been going to Body Pump at 5:45 in the mornings.  Makes me tired, and makes me feel like I am a crazy woman. I think I am.

Quick Road Trip

On last Tuesday, Jason's Mom was needing to catch a flight out of San Antonio to go to Kentucky to see some of her family, so the girls and I decided we would drop her off, and then do a little shopping, and head back.

It was so fun!! We dropped her off at the airport at 10:15, and we headed straight to La Cantera and were there by 10:30.

I really only wanted to check out this one store there called Naartjie.

Then, we drove over to The RIM, shopping center, and went to Home Goods, Old Navy, and World Market.

The girls did great, but we got hungry.  Kylee wanted to play on a playground, so it was either Chick-Fil-A or McDonalds.  She picked McDonalds!!!

And there play area was a lot better according to Kylee.

We all ate lunch, including Maggie, and then hopped in the car, and headed back.  We made it back in 2 hours and 45 minutes, and never had to stop!! YEAH!!!

Some other girls are headed back to San Antonio in about a month for another  girls trip. Should be fun!!

No Matter Which Way You Put It...

they all LOVE going to the Wall Hawk Football games!!

Back in the summer, we did the cheerleading suit switch-a-roo, to make sure everyone was ready for the football season.  Kylee can still wear hers from last year, so a good 2 years for that suit, and Lexi grew in to one we had, and passed hers down to Maggie.

I think we actually have one in every size!! :)  But they don't make them for infants, so Mom made this suit for Kylee when she was 1, and now Lexi and Maggie have worn it!!

On Friday Night, we made it to the first home game. It's kind of nice that some of the kids are getting big enough to go hang on the fence.

We caught a football and a t-shirt!! And Kylee got to hang out with Addi's BIG GIRL friends.  So thankful for cousins!!

This what happens when Dad gets to involved in the game to give Maggie her bottle.  I don't blame him though. :)

Lexi loved running around with all the kids!!

By the end of the night, they all shared in on some of Paw-Paw's M&M'S!!!

Back 2 School Time!!

AWANA's is back in full swing, and the kids loved jumping on the bounce houses.  This is the only time they really get to bounce on them throughout the year.

Kylee has great Cubbie friends this year, and a great teacher!!!

And Jaxon, well, he just runs around smiling because he's
AWE
SOME!!

Jason calls Jaxon a "puggle" even though we do not have that group at church!! :)

Fun times!!
