Roller Rink

Some friends invited us to go roller skating at the rink a couple weeks ago!

This was our first time!! Kylee has been roller blading around the house for a few months now thanks to Hay Hay for helping her. She did great, and has now decided that she wants her birthday party there!

Her doll has on roller blades too!!

Jaxon picked it up okay, after a little while. And Maggie never tried. I think she might be to young.

We also got to swap some kids, and have a sleep over!!

New Years 2016

For New Years, we hung out with cousins! It's always a really good time! And the kids have a blast. We lasted until about 11pm, and then we came home!

I was telling Kylee what "new years" was one day, and I completely told her the wrong year we were in!! LOL! I think I have post-preggo brain!

Sweet girls!

Snow Much Fun!!

We had snow much fun playing after Christmas in the snow! When I saw "we", I mean Jason and the kids! Ha! Somebody had to stay inside with the baby!

Jason LOVES the snow, so he's all into making a big snowman and always making an igloo! And of course, throwing snow balls at the kids!

Hadlee enjoyed her first snow experience inside in her cute jacket, yawning, winking, and doing her side smile!

Hadlee Anne - 2 Months

Hadlee Anne at 2 Months!

My mind goes back to a few short weeks ago, and we were longing to know "who" you would be, and "who" you would look like. And know you've been here for 2 months already! We are so in love with her!

She is such a good baby! I just catch myself saying that like everyday. And then Aunt Bri for sure says it ALL THE TIME! But, she really is!

At 2 Months:
-Awake a lot more
-Relaxing your hands when you sleep
-focusing on the mobile
-smiling
-eats about every 3 to 3 1/2 hours during the day
-loves Kylee
-I think you are scared of Maggie's voice! *wink*
-Love being held to look out and everybody
-Sometimes fussy in the evenings, but nothing a bath won't fix
-love being naked
-sleep by mommy and daddy's bed
-your bed time habit isn't the best. after I feed you at 9 or 10 at night, you like to stay awake happy until about 12. BUT, then you don't wake up until 4:30 or 5. And go right back to sleep. I can tell you are starting to go longer.
-wearing 0-3 months
-weight: 11 lbs. 5 oz
-Length: 23.5 inches
-you are are Biggest baby by far!

You love to talk to people! You love to go places, and you do like the car seat!

We love you more than anything!

Christmas Morn

Christmas morning was all the usual! Jaxon was the first to wake up about 7, and came to our room, and said "Santa had come." We told him to go wake up his sisters!

Santa brought Kylee an entertainment center and sleepover stuff to go with her AG doll.

Jaxon got army stuff and a little puppy, since he randomly asked Santa for a "puppy". :) He loves all of it!!

Maggie was so fun, and has not stopped playing with her baby doll and high chair!

Hadlee was good too!

Stockings are my favorite! Maggie was trying to claim some stuff out of Hadlee's stocking this year, and I had to tell her it was not her's, and she was not to happy.

Christmas With Family

Hadlee first Christmas was fun. She slept a lot, and ate a lot, and everyone held her all the time. It was good. The kids still love on her so much, she probably would rather them not! Ha! Lots of squeezing her really tight, and kissing her, and saying mom, "can you take my picture with her?"

We celebrated Christmas for a good 3 days straight! Starting with Jason's immediate family! It's always a paper flying good time! Jaxon went home with FIVE guns that he loves, and some legos. Kylee got a really cool watch gadget thing, some books, and a lite brite. Maggie got a really cute "business" box with tons of stickers, papers, markers in it with her name on it, and two little mailboxes to play with! So cute! Hadlee got a backpack, and a gift card, and all the girls got a really pretty necklace from Josh and Melissa!

Always a good time with them!

On Christmas Eve evening, we went to my Grandmother. We actually got some good pictures with her this year! Love spending time with this side. There is a lot of tradition to what we do there, and it just seems so "right" to be there on Christmas Eve with Mom and Dad and my cousins. I remember some really fun nights growing up, as we anticipated Santa coming the next morning.

And as always we played Bingo, but I didn't' get any pictures!! The kids always have a good time picking out prizes that they don't really like, like a whisk, and giving them to me! Ha!

We had my side of the family on Christmas Day. Everyone got a pair of shoes and a ball!! Kylee and Addi loved seeing their AG dolls with the same cheer suit from Santa!!

And more pictures of spending time with Jason's Grandma, and his extended side of the family!

The bottom right picture is all the Holik Great-Grandchildren. There are 15 of them! With 2 more coming this next year!! What a legacy! The Holik name lives on! :)

PIP's

Talk about a flashback to the 1990's!! Pips was popular when I was in elementary school, and I loved it!! I guess by the time we got to jr high and high school the younger kids were doing the ymca thing and pips kind of died out.

So when Kylee got the flyer in the mail to do Pip's, I was beyond excited for her to get to do this! It basically is just teaching them fundamentals, which I love. She is still young, and will have plenty of time in the future to play "games".

They have performed once, and will get to perform 2 more times. I was wondering how she would handle all of it in the big gym and the crowd, but I think you can tell by her sweet smile, that she liked it a lot!!

She did really good with her ball handling skills, and dribbling. She knew where we were sitting so she kept smiling real big at us!

Mom and Dad were there to watch her, along with Uncle Josh, Aunt Melissa, Jude, and of course all of us.

And Hadlee made her appearance at her first ever school event!! She's a huge fan!!
