PIPs

If you grew up in the 90's, chances are you either did PIPs or heard about it!! It's sort of like the Jump Rope teams, that would perform at basketball games. This was before the days of YMCA sports, and let's just say, I screamed with excitement to see the flyer in Kylee's backpack a few weeks ago!! Or maybe I was just reliving the good 'ole days in my head of when we used to do Pips!!

I know this will be a shocker to most of you….. She's learning the same ball handling routine we did!! It cracks me up!! But, it's such good skills, she needs to learn!! Can't wait for to perform at some games!!

We've had 2 practices, and she really likes it!! There are a few girls from her grade, so that is good!

Here she is!! Eating supper, doing homework, all with the basketball in sight!! The life of a 7 year old!! ;)

September was BIG!

September was a big month!!!

We had hunting season start, and survived homecoming week!

We had a baby shower for a sweet little cowboy that should be here soon! Cousin to our baby girl!!

Addi gave her heart to Jesus, and was baptized at church!

We had new rules established in the house. It's either for Maggie or me…. :)

Maggie started and ended gymnastics one day a week! She went from being shy and scared the first day, to completely running the class. Fixing the equipment and telling everyone where to go, and perfecting basically all the gymnastics skills a 3 year old can know!

She will be CEO of some company one day with all these great skills she has! Until then, she is learning the hard way, you can't kick people when you are made at them.

I late night prepped for an Ice Cream party for the sweetest 7 year old around.

Some girls got together in Ballinger to paint! So fun!

Jason said, it was a little "cliche"! Ha!

There was a baby born in our family! Sweet Baby Jude! We love him so!!! Except for Maggie sometimes…. who gave him a thumbs down! Yikes! Somebody might not be ready for a little sister!

Hay Hay came home to visit, and meet baby Jude!! The kids were in heaven for a little while! And Kylee decided to ride her new bike home in the dark in the rain sprinkling rain one night! Crazy Girl!

And now I'm tired! :) On to October!

High Chair Make Over

With the help of a FB friend, I found this gem at a garage sale the first of the month!

It is in such great condition; the legs are not wobbly, and the tray moves great! I'm so excited to start a paint job on it!

I don't know what got into me, but a couple months ago, I decided I like the look of a wooden hair chair. I'm sure he's thinking on the last child, do we really have to do this…. But, he's so nice; he said he didn't care! :)

I had been on the hunt looking on craigslist, ebay, etsy, and of course garage sales around here. I pretty happy about it with the Jenny Lind back and everything!

So, what is your input on the paint color?

Turquoise

Or a pretty white.

Or maybe some other color!

Hanging with Uncle Josh

He loved it! He was their little bird dog, he told me!

Our first dove cookout of the season was a couple weeks ago!!

Gotta wear the camo!!

Looking forward to more cookouts soon!!

Homecoming Week

We had a good time during Homecoming last week! Jason asked her this morning what the dress up day was! ;)

Pajama Day

Twin Day

Missed a picture of her as a Tiger; someone was not happy, but she had a cute tail and headband I made!

Green and White Day

Pep Rally!

They acted out the Wizard of Oz scene! It was so cute!!

Sweet Lexi's first Kindergarten Pep Rally!

Hair gelled, and deodorant on! Lol! They love getting ready in our bathroom!

Sweet friends at the game! We sure missed our other friends!

And this big mama ran and got them in the victory line on the field!! Ha!

Green in my Blood

I think I was born with a little green in my blood, if you know what I mean. Going to these things with my kids and family, never gets old to me!

First Pep Rally of the Year

First home game of the season!

And they are getting old enough to hang on the fence, and be a little independent! Which makes it nice for Mom and Dad! :)

I had a little panic attack inside before the game because I didn't have a green maternity shirt! Thank goodness the scarf saved me this time! ;)

And this week is Homecoming Week, so lots of dress up going on!

Lots of First!!

Kylee has grown up so MUCH lately!! How can she be nearly 7!!!!

Right before 1st grade started, she lost her first top tooth!! It's been sort of loose for a while, and then one morning, she just started messing with it, and by lunch I noticed it was sticking out, then by the afternoon, she had it completely over her bottom lip, and Jason told she looked like a hillbilly! :) That night, she brushed it too hard, and it started bleeding, so Jason pulled it!!

The new one is coming through already!

She made chocolate covered strawberries for us one night last week!

Then she put on her roller blades, and just decided, she would conquer that! She's roller blading everywhere outside, and inside! She loves it!! I'm sort of waiting on another broken arm….. No not really, but it does cross my mind!!

Crazy girl! Now, she's telling me she wants to ride the bus to and from school ALL BY HERSELF!! :)
