State

Wall girls made it to state in basketball, and the tournament was this past weekend! And they WON!! First time ever!!

Glad we were there to cheer them on! The girls and I, and Karter, went with my parents.

Kylee's first trip to the DRUM! Decked out in the cheerleading suit and all!

The girls played at 8:30AM on Friday, and not again until 1:30 on Saturday. So we had a full day to just hang out in Austin!

What better place to start with than the Capital of Texas! So pretty!

Inside the Senate Chamber and looking up!

We shopped some at the outlets, IKEA, a furniture store, Garden Ridge, Old Navy, and a shoe store!

Saturday morning we had to kill some more time, so we went to this really cool museum that was downtime. They had all these historical facts about Texas. Kylee and Maggie wanted to take a picture by the old gun because Daddy likes guns! :) And a pretty butterfly.

They also had this "Extreme Mammals" exhibit. So we went through that. Y'all I was so disappointed. I was thinking "I need to get my children out". People were everywhere reading this posters and looking at these animals that "supposedly" existed "millions" of years ago that were founded by Darwin, of course.

I don't want to get in a debate about the existence of animals before the flood, or what types of HUGE animals those could have been, but it just rubbed me the wrong way with the wording of it all.

Anyways, after that we hooked it to the DRUM for day two, the finals, and they WON! How exciting!

Drove back as fast as we could to see Aunt Hay Hay who is only here for 4 days!

What happened to Jaxon?

Seriously! When did he get to "cool" to smile for the camera? Like he won't smile any when I say I am going to take a picture.

I don't like it! :(

Maggie and Her Babies

Maggie loves a baby to carry around. For Valentine's Day, Jason's mom got her the green one, and mom got her the yellow one. They are the cabbage patch "wild one's"! So cute!! And just the right size!!

And I love how she raises her eyebrows! :)

A Budding Friendship

These two are so fun together! I mean, if Jaxon can get past just flat out aggravating her, and if Maggie can get past having to have it her way, they actually make quite a cute friendship!

And I think they look a like too!!

Valentine's

Last weekend, we went to a youth sponsored dinner at church. It's always a fun times with sweet friends; Jason and I, along with alot of others, went against each other in Family Feud!! It was hilarious! I'm so bad at that game!

We had a little Valentine Party at our Library Class this last week.

Kylee with her sweet friends at the Library.

We had a cupcake party at Cubbies on Wednesday Night! It was yummy!

Then on Thursday Night, Jason's parents watched the kids while we went out. We went to Bonsai, Lowe's, and then my new favorite place in the whole world, Iggy's Italian Ice! :) We didn't really get each other anything. He made me some chocolate covered strawberries. That's become a tradition for him, and I am happy with it. I filled out a card, "10 Things I love about You", and gave it to him!

It was a fun week, but now I catch my kids sneaking candy, so it's going in the trash! :)

Craft Night

Our Friday nights are so boring these days, we sit and do crafts together! Jason's been a super helper to me with some projects I wanted done. I'll have to take more pictures of them. He's been making me some wooden frames for a picture to go in the middle. He was doing a chevron stripe.

The kids did their handprints for Mamaw's 85th Birthday, and I was working on some tassel things for Maggie's "Gold, Sparkle, Shine" 2nd Birthday!!

Fun Night!

A Train Party!

We got invited to a train party at the Local Train Station. We have never been there (bad mom alert), and we had a great time!

There were trains everywhere!

Jaxon giggled and laughed, and smiled at them!!

Maggie squealed and yelled, and pointed with excitement! Who knew she liked trains so much?

The one below was HUGE! It took up a really long room!! It was my favorite!

And, the sweet birthday boy! There were "real" trains outside that we climbed all over! And we got to take home a train whistle, and a train sucker!!

Blessed by God to have such, sweet friends to share our lives with each other!
